Liverpool are a joke. Dempsey might not have been the best signing, but if they were prepared to pay a certain fee, why not add a few more mil just to get the deal done. The player wanted to go to Anfield.
Massive fail.

Liverpool offered £4m for Dempsey. Spurs look to be there for around 7m! How much was Henderson?

He'd be the reserve CM as Lass Diarra is off to Russia.
Big signing earlier though, Crawley Town sign CM/RM Mike Jones from Sheffield Wednesday for an undisclosed fee
(I'd never heard of him either)

Hangover 69 vs AC ALSOAM

0-2 - ALSOAM –Sanchez, Tevez x2
1-1 – Reus; Tevez
0-2 – ALSOAM – Tevez x2
1-2 – ALSOAM
0-1 - ALSOAM

ALSOAM – 8 divided by 6 = 1.33333333333333 rounded to 1, +1 goal for 3 more win votes = 2
Final Score:
Hangover 69 1-2 AC ALSOAM
Reus; Tevez, Sanchez
Feedback:
Reus a very close game settled with AC get caught on the counter leaving their 3 at the back exposed by the wingers of Hangover.
AC ALSOAM control this game and there wing back formation works perfectly. Toulalon and Schweinsteiger control the midfield battle, and Sanchez and Tevez cause all sorts of problems for Hangover who never get going against the ALSOAM defence.
Difficult to separate these two teams. They seem set-up knowing what the other side is going to do perfectly, which ends up with cancelling each other out tactically. This means it came down to who had the best players to carry out the tactics and for me this was also evenly matched, so I came to the conclusion I can’t pick a winner. Both main strikers well marshalled by very good defenders, so this means goals come from the deeper lying attackers.
AC where to strong for Hangover in this game and managed to Dominate the midfield.
Im not a huge fan of Markys formation tbh but his strength in the centre of midfield got him the win. I haven't seen enough of Capoue and Strootman to rate them so I think this is a position that needs strengthening.
London Silly Nannies vs Athletico Bilbao Baggins

Athletico Bilbao Baggins – 8 divided by 6 = 1.333333333333 rounded to 1
Final Score:
London Silly Nannies 1-1 Athletico Bilbao Baggins
Cavani; Higuain
Feedback:
Hero's formation plays into the hands of the LSN's usual 4-2-3-1 formation leaving the full backs exposed to their wingers eventually costing them a victory, Sodhat midfield is defensive enough to stop Lucas taking an effect and getting chances to their forwards
This is a very tight game for me. Hero has packed the midfield but LSN also have a strong midfield and don’t allow Baggins to take control. I can’t separate the two teams as Baggins score via Higuain but Cavani also scores for LSN.
This division is going to be really close!! London Silly Nannies really struggled to get their attack players into the game because the triumvirate in the ABB midfield just completely dominated them. Moura was a bit out of his depth, but the winning strategy for me was the ABB FBs attacking and providing the width. I would have liked to see them told to attack even more as this could be a very potent weapon for them. Higuain and Villa also look a really combo up top.
A good game from both sides and a very good game. Higuian got the lead early on for ABB but LSN managed to grab one back through Ozil before nearing the end Cavani scored from a corner
LSN tried their best but were let down by their defence, which struggled against the pace of Bilbaos attack.
Jacamos Utd vs Real Ale Sociedad
- Spoiler:

3-1 - Jacamos – Michu x2, Lewandowski; Suarez
2-1 -Jacamos – Michu, Lewandowski; Hazard
2-0 - Jacamos – Lewandowski, Munain
1-1 – Lewandowski; Hazard
2-1 - Jacamos
1-0 - Jacamos
Totals:
Jacamos Utd – 11 divided by 6 = 1.8333333333333 rounded to 2, + 1 goal for 3 more win votes than Real Ale = 3
Real Ale Sociedad – 4 divided by 6 = 0.666666666666666 rounded to 1
Final Score:
Jacamos Utd 3-1 Real Ale Sociedad
Lewandowski, Michu, Munain; Hazard
Feedback:
A very good game Real Ale Targets the wingers and take an early lead but the physical bombardment by Jacamo's through the middle eventually bring the game in their favor leading to a win for Jacamo's
This is an interesting matchup. Michu and Carrick occupy each other, so that leaves Alonso/Fellaini against Cleverley/Allen and it’s a no contest there, where Jacamos win the game. But Real Ale have a lot of success on the wing, and nearly nick a point, I’m not a fan of Martinez CB.
I think the Real Ale midfield is a little bit lightweight. They held the ball well, but were a bit weak in being able to stop the Jacamos attacking players. I also think that Real Ale underestimated the Jacamos RB as I feel Piszczek is a really good FB, and I saw the weakness being Jacamos LB. With Hazard, they could have attacked Schmelzer and the result may well have been different.
a good game with both sides creating chances but in the end they both settled for a draw
Jacamos midfield is too strong for Ale but Ben Arfa and hazard did trouble the Jacamo defence. Hazard is best used as an attack mid imo.
Treble’s Revenge vs Viva City

Totals:
Treble’s Revenge – 5 divided by 6 = 0.8 rounded to 1, +1 goal for 3 more win votes = 2
Viva City – 1 divided by 6 = 0.166666666666 rounded to 0
Final Score:
Treble’s Revenge 2-0 Viva City
Ibrahimovic x2
Feedback:
A close fought game which is eventually dominated by the midfield of Treble's side, Leads to Ibra getting on the scoresheet not far from the end
This is also a very tight game, but I see Revenge just nicking it as Ibrahimovic dominates Evans/Lescott physically and he scores the winner. It is a tight midfield battle for sure.
For me the two weakest teams in the division. Both have decent midfields, but I felt that Treble’s use of Ibrahimovich was good up against Lescott. I always feel Lescott needs a CB with strong character alongside him, and Evans, for all his ability, is not the leader Lescott needs. In the end it was this contest that won the day for Trebles. Viva City looked a bit too narrow at times for me as well, and I would have liked them to have attacked the Treble’s full backs
A game where the match seemed even for both sides but Ibra's header from a corner managed to make the difference and won the game
I feel revenge should have started Gustavo instead of Denisov as Gustavo is better at defending. Viva city played too narrow imo. They should have played one of either Bastos or Valencia.

Happy with a draw against the team I expect to come out as champs at the end of the season. Cazorla out was a big loss for me creatively as I knew Moura would struggle to win you over for votes.
Nice to see someone recognising the threat the fullbacks possessed to the opposition and not skim read it to think I was playing narrow.

Yeah well done on the win Juan
I didn't have time to sort my midfield out before the game and I totally agree with the comments. Hazard as a AM is interesting. I think he is better as a winger. I could certainly see it being hazard-oscar-mata in Chelsea's attacking midfield for the future..

4-1 (+2 goals for 7 wins) Hulk x 2, Adebayor, Cisse - Lamela
Holton were set up perfectly this week with the pace of Bale and the power of Hulk proving too much for Bulltatorships fullbacks. In the midfield I feel Eriksen has to play although fitting him in might prove a bit of a trouble for Bull.
definite improvement in tactics from Bull, two strong sides but Bulltatorship were overrun in the middle of the park where Bender, Defour and Witsel had only Motta to deal with as Blasczcykowski, Gotze and Lamela were always getting forward. Lots of goals but Holton's formation proving decisive.
Olly has the hang of his tactics now which is great to see but he's come up against a much improved team. I think both sides are good enough for a draw, no team really stands out. I think for HW, Adebayor needs someone behind him like a VDV. For Bull, perhaps an upgrade on Evra.
An interesting match and Bull going with attacks down the wing and with two very threatening aerial CFs was a good game plan. There is a lingering threat that Motta has a bit too much to do on his own in the middle and there may be too much for them to handle when they are attacked. The FBs aren’t the best and sadly that is where Holton win it, with classy wingers. A more balanced attempt at a 4-4-2 may have seen this a draw.
A close game, but Holton's attacking players make all the difference near the end. Pereira (the RB) having instructions to watch Hulk (who Bull mentions is on the RW) is wrong. I can see Hulk outmuscling Evra anyway.
Great tactics from Holton told his players what to do perfectly and without complicating things. Gotham on the other hand I feel were very poor in their formation, the lack of balance in midfield cost them with the three infront of Motta not being the most hard working players defensively.
I'm not really a fan of the central midfield trio Olly has used, but for today it was enough to dominate Bull in midfield. Bull should have played Lampard over Lamela as he does more defensively. Bull had his moments, but Hulk and Bale's quality won it.

Go Ahead looked the real deal this week with the midfield 5 dominating. For me tooze needs to get away from 4-4-2/4-4-1-1 as it gave Kroos too much space to work in with the attacking players being played in constantly.
Good to see CoN trying something a little different formation wise, but they haven't really strengthened player wise. Eaaagles look immense going forward and while Nasri behind Drogba causes the occasional problem, Eaaagles are just too strong in players and in tactics.
Both teams are pretty good, both tactics are lacking slightly GAE more so than CoN. However, looking at the teams in terms of quality then I have to give Russ the win. However I think both the FB's need improvement as I don't see Badstuber as a LB and Van der Weil can't defend.
GAE have a strong side on paper, although their FBs may struggle against elite wingers. CON are able to get a goal with a good attacking unit, but I can imagine them struggling to keep the wingers and striker of GAE out of the game completely. Kroos can be utilised going forward a bit more though.
I think GAE have a very good spine to their team, and I also think their wingers do a lot of damage. Soldado reaps the rewards of a lot of service coming his way.
Eagles got joy down the wide positions I think Norwich need to improve on fullbacks. Norwich struggled at times hitting the ball long and not being able to keep it, Nasri was limited by Rodwell who is an excellent man marker.
With Rodwell keeping Nasri quiet, Norwich didn't have a lot else to work with in attack. They need to improve the quality of their side. Thiago Silva put in a good effort and kept Soldado quiet but Eagles had many other players going forward to win them the points.

Substandard Liege v Real Nadrid v2

Result
3 - 1 ( +1 goal for 3 wins) Balotelli, Jovetic, Jelvaic - llorente
Liege look very dangerous throughout and losing Xavi has boosted them more than hurt them as pastore is exactly the sort of player they needed. I would say they need a better left back though than Gibbs. Nadrid need a better central midfield in my opinion and are hurt from losing Sneijder.
two very good sides, both arguably title contenders and despite the attackers on show, a tight draw was the obvious outcome.
I like nadz's team, I really do. It has a brilliant defence, great midfield, good striker and good tactics. The same with Afro, but I think the Nadrid team is better on paper. It is very, very close though but I think the Liege FB's are susceptible to the quality of Navas and Kagawa.
I think NADrid are a little defensive here and would benefit from utilising their attacking riches a bit more expansively. SL aren’t afraid to attack and I think they have a very nice balance to their side and threats all over the field. I can see them taking the win.
Two really good teams that cancel each other out. I think Substandard would have more of the chances but I think Nadrids CB pairing made things very difficult.
I found this a very close game between the two sides, matched each other well. But it was the Lieges ability to see the smaller details which won them the game with well though out sub. Nadrid are a strong side but need to look at others aspects if they are to move up a level.
Liege were much stronger tactically and have the players. I would have targetted the full backs a bit more if I was the Nadrid manager as I feel this is a weak link. Vidic tended to do well against Llorente and won most of the key headers.
3 - 1

Oh and default win 2-0 in the final game due to Cherry not handing in tactics.

Andy Carroll to score 20 goals this season because West Ham play the perfect type of hideous hoof ball for him. (no offence soddy).

Allows me to sell a LB and not need a replacement. I'm happy to have Fabio as a second choice

In fairness Bull I gave balanced feedback saying you did ok, but you lacked midfielders presence. Lamela wouldn't get back and help in defence and you'd eventually be overrun.

It was a decent performance but there's no way you could not give the result to Olly in that one. You can see it in the predictions, seven wins for Olly and a draw.

Thats just because of the +1 goal for every 3 wins Bull, it makes it look worse for you but in general it certainly helps to split games where it should be a win to one side.

It's because of the system used on here. I think it should be changed personally to something more akin to the realistic league.

Did we not outlaw bets because of that whole scenario?
I can't remember though, don't think I was really here at the time.
