It's unfair that viva had to pay up and marky didn't.

I clearly told everyone multiple times that there are to be no further bets in which either money or players is exchanged as it is unfair to the rest of the league.

Pretty happy to have Carroll over Dzeko so far today. He was immense for us before his knock.

Hangover would like to point put that dzeko has scored, this is a bog deal for us as none of our players ever seem to score!

Don't get me wrong, I like Dzeko, but Carroll plays for West Ham so its always going to be him>Dzeko for me...

Dreadful night I'm having. Got my keyboard covered in grease which was a nightmare to clean then had a run-in with a spider which I tried to catch but it was faster at moving than me. Bizarrrrrrrre.

A) how did you get your keyboard covered in grease?
B) how is a spider faster than you?

Are you like the 50st man sat at his computer with a family bucket of KFC (hence the grease) and unable to move to be able to deal with spider?

Playing Runescape 24/7......

I was eating horribly greasy crisps (Walkers Sensations, never again) and I thought I'd wiped it off my fingers (I was nowhere near a tap to wash it off) but apparently not and after I had typed something it was just horrible. Very shiny.

As for the spider, I'm bemused by that one as well. It was really quick, it covered about 5 metres in 3 seconds and that's difficult to catch when you're bending over with a glass. However, it is still skulking about so I should get Round 2 today. Unless the dog ate it.

Did anyone watch us on MOTD yesterday? How was Assou-Ekkoto's tearing of Morison's shirt not a penalty? Disgraceful

I watched MOTD, it was blatantly a penalty from what I remember Olly but on the other hand, you got a decision your way with Huddlestone being sent off.

Yes we did, but in the end that didn't have much of an influence on the outcome being so late in the game. I must watching it in real life at the game, I thought it was a nasty tackle and looked like a stonewall red card, but it definately wasn't and will probably be recinded on appeal.

It's a shame Marky ain't about until Wednesday, I need Tevez Whistle

Who has Verthonghen on here? Looked very shaky yesterday, obviously hasn't faced guys like Holt and Morison who like to rough it up with you, but the potential is there, and I am sure he will adapt with time. But why on earth have Spurs kept Gallas?

I think most continental centrebacks take a while to acclimatise to the Premier League, look back at the likes of Vidic when he first arrived, looked very unsure for the first couple of months.
Vertonghen is a quality centreback but needs a solid guy partnering him as he does like to move the ball forward.

Yes I do agree with you, it takes a while for them to adapt to I would say the roughness, but the fact he has William Gallas alongside him is not going to help him at all.

Vertonghen attacks like Vermaelen but doesn't get back quick enough. The sooner Spurs have Dawson back the better.

What's up with Chesney? Is he injured or dropped?

No I'm not happy. 3 games down, regardless of the result of this match we're not winning the league. I'll be happy with Top 4.

We're finding out what everyone really knows: We're just not that good anymore.

It's really worrying. The Fergie factor will drag us into the Top 4 but everything is out of reach until there's improvement. It's not the scoreline that's worrying, it's the fact there's nothing being created. There's nothing going on in the middle. Very un-United like.
