Scroll Down and there is a picture of Manu and Antony Allen wearing a new kit , its probably the training one but im pleasantly surprised.
Does anyone know when the New playing kit if officially being released?
Edit 19/9/12: the New kit is out http://www.v2journal.com/canterbury-launch-new-england-rugby-kit.html

Re: Englands Canterbury Kit
Looks like the Arsenal kit.
What will England's away kit colour be this season then? The one in the link is red but I'm going to guess yellow. Or maybe green. Both colours we haven't seen England play in yet

We should be getting a few sneak previews soon. v2 has a good relationship with Canterbury so hopefully some exclusives coming soon!

England wore a purple kit against Argentina a few years ago.Knowsit17 wrote:Looks like the Arsenal kit.

It was a dreadful game where we discovered that Monye is not a full-back and England laboured away to win 16-9 with Banahan scoring (looking like The Big Purple One from a box of Quality Street).Knowsit17 wrote:My mistake, post edited.

Agree, for me that was by far the best. Looked great actually. The new kit has one thing in common with most Canterbury kit. Ugly. Outside of that, no problem.gowales wrote:I reckon the best England away kit was the navy blue Nike one a few years back

Re: Englands Canterbury Kit
Well, Mr, Carpe Effervescing Elephant, I have not been running over Polar Bears - I understand they get very perturbed if one tries to run one over. I woke up with a bad arttitude this morning and I am hell bent to keep it.
Nah, I took an assignment for a couple of weeks in one of the refugee camps in south Turkey for the Syrians coming over the border. Been here a week, and have a week to go. The work is good and rewarding. Things are quiet as long as we keep everyone who is slightly different or percieves themselve different from everyone else (religion, nationality, culture, males, females, family members, clan members, etc.) apart from the others. This means about 15 divisions I have counted so far and growing. And people are way too ready to fight with each other - all the time.
Need Rugby to keep me calm.
But I am not confident that any jersey from Canterbury will make England look good. If the new kit looks like the new Leicester kit, then it is off the deep end for me, and England are doomed (worse than now)...............

Have to agree 100%, i'm yet to see an inspiring Canterbury kit, they're either formulaic and boring or vertigo inducingly bad! Still, how badly can they feck up White with a bit of red?

Does anyone actually see it being radically different?
Personally i dont think so, and dont want it...i like the straight forward all white with not even a dash of red either...BUT....it is Canterbury...

I would love that, I would also have loved for scummers to have not bought dozens of the original shirts with the sole intent of selling them on Ebay for £200+

The white shirt is very plain and safe, but I think it could grow on me. I really like the darker training top that Flood is wearing- think that looks great.

Happy enough with the home kit - simple white with dark blue socks, traditional.
If Danny Care is in the change kit - hmmmm

I don't really know how to react. It's a white V-neck tshirt but what else was it going to be? Is it wrong that after my initial horror at the change kit i actually really quite like it? Welcome return of the blue socks. Overall not as bad as it could have been, would have liked a collar of some sort.

Also who rights the marketing guff I mean:
The shirt represents the dreams not just of those who wear it but the millions who support England. This is reflected on the inside of the sleeve of the Seniors, Women’s and Sevens shirts with the slogan ENGLANDCONNECTED, acting as a reminder of the rugby family.

Home shirt is ok, but underwhelming. I can't help but feel the canterbury logo is almost too big, or intricate, or something....
Can't stand the kit Care's wearing. If indeed that is the away kit, god help my eyes.

Hi all, it's been an interesting day at the kit launch. I'm now the owner of a white dust rag England shirt. It's only an xxl so touch wood will be too small for me . Generally a positive reaction to the home kit, and mixed for the away "regal purple" one. I rather like both 7s kits.
I'll have an article up on the v2journal with my other impressions later. Assuming I can find mobile signal to call a cab back to Gloucester (I'm pinching CCC's wifi now)

Think we should rename the away kit 'The Marmite kit'. Definitely getting a love it or hate it vibe here.
I'm definitely loving it. Must have been softened up by the Chiefs cup kit!
