Good idea. Need to buy some test tubes. The people running the world at the moment need some competition...

Might try some prime numbers from now on.

Just play it down when making an offer... as other do.
The lady with MS downstairs sold her apartment yesterday morning and an artwork (de Maestre?) for a tidy sum in the afternoon. Nice work.

Re: The Reaction Game
I was at Mums today helping her sort out the garage , as she is having to move also . When i found some of those old car badges you know the ones you attach to your grill .............a very old AA one and RAC one and also one of our family crest ! i didn't know we had a family crest must be the Scottish in us as theres also a family tartan so Mum says

Re: The Reaction Game
Great finds. Keep the badges safe. I think there is the Ross tartan on Mum's side. West coast near Isle of Skye I'm told. Need to research it more.

It's important to know about where we came from. It's amazing to think that things could easily have been so different and we are so lucky to be in existence.

Re: The Reaction Game
Ha! That's bizarre. Just done exactly the same with my mum o' lately. Found parts of a Morris Traveller in the shed that my dad must have kept. Don't think we had that car beyond 1979! We have a family tartan too, my mum's a Geordie so Scottish blood isn't that surprising.
Wish you luck when she moves, if it's anything like we've just gone through then it's hard, I'm emotionally spent at the moment!

Re: The Reaction Game
Thanks for the warning ,Swanny.
I'm trying to keep it organised but I know I'll be knackered during the move. I'm going to start taking small boxes over next week (after the 13th) and leave just the big stuff for the removalists.

Re: The Reaction Game
I was just thinking this evening, watching the Parra game, how us Aussies don't have that same culture of organised singing. It's more of a chant type thing... similar to what you'd get at a gridiron game. I'm happy for the Eels. You know I was telling you about the W.S. Wanderers (based in Parra)... well they do the singing thing... amazing atmosphere. So if both teams are doing well that means RL/football in Sydney is in good shape. Most of the fans of both codes really want to back each other up. That's a new phenomenon here... it's a great thing for both sports and their fans.

Re: The Reaction Game
Another perfect day ahead. Heavenly weather here - about to go for one of my last swims here. Some super rugby, then some NRL. England are steadily squeezing the life out of NZ. Scoring slowly... was kind of hoping they might make a dash for runs.

Have you done it yet?
A pub list for round here would be long!! More pubs per head of population than anywhere else in England... apparently. There's 3 on my little road

So it's safe to say that you live in the pub capital of the World!
My list is too long... need to cut some of them out I think. Best to stick with the tried and tested ones.
