Yes i didn't realise it was that long ago either , makes you feel kinda old

More than kinda! Strange how some stuff sounds dated but other stuff doesn't. I bought an album on cd recently by a band I loved when I was 17/18, it set me off on a nostalgia trail. Some of it sounds soooo old, but some you'd never think is almost 30 years old.

i sort of did the same thing last week , i was at my mums clearing some more boxes out of her loft when i found an old trainer box full of mix tapes i had done a very long time ago

i listened to them for about 4 days , god it brought back some memories but some of the songs were bad

right im off to bed , big weekend planned ....off to Manchester for the rugby league magic weekend .. 7 games and lots of beer

yep, sort of the same thing here. When we finally moved my mum out of her house a few weeks ago we shifted a load of records we thought belonged to my sister. Wrong! A chunk of them were mine, bands I'd forgotten about; Lush, Claytown Troupe, Curve, Crazyhead. Hence the nostalgia trip, I'm going to have to see what's available on cd now.

Though I have to say the Helloween records belonged to my sister... FA to do with me!

I had a great day... tourist in my home town. Amazing place! So peaceful... the roos were so relaxed.

It was a lovelly day which didn't think was so hot , but a liquid diet soon cooled me down

I think we have similar programming. I remember a few months ago we had similar movies on at nearly the same time.

Yeah, and when you look at what they consider funny these days. You know those Comedy Festivals? A few good comedians but most of them are so crap! Not even funny, imo. Cringeworthy stuff and they think they are talented?

I like the Aussie guy with one foot , whats his name ?

Adam Hill. I'm a bit sick of him now... he's got some irritating traits but good on him for getting out there. He's got this show here with this awful girl sidekick... you know those militant, souless, lesbian types who think their deadpan remarks are clever & funny? Well she's not! She's got a body like a triangle too... arse the size of an elephant and a small pointy head with those trendy looking glasses. So bleedin' ugly!

I have only ever seen him doing a after Olympics show of channel 4 here and a one off stage show for channel 4 were he had a sign langue woman on stage with him ... which was quite funny watching her trying to sign his rude jokes

Yes, he's been around for a while here. He did have a music quiz show called Spicks and Specks where they had some interesting guests and funny segments.

I'm off for abit , sun has come out so going to take the kids out for some air
