Yes I watched it, he was gash, not only just how poor he was going forward but just some of the other bits he has up to, made Pepe look a saint.

I didn't see the game, but he scored this goal so he's the best winger in the world.

He has been like that all season to be fair.

I can see Mourinho losing patience and starting with Callejon

Callejon was pretty decent as well when given the opportunity last season, I'd be looking at giving Jese a chance, already this season For the second team and for the Spanish u21s he's got 8 goals in 9 games and can play anywhere across the front.

Not sure Jese is quite ready for it yet. He has done well for Castilla, but it is a big step.

I would stick with Di Maria rather than go with Jese. For now.

Di Maria is still world class on his day and a potential game winner. He just needs to find his days more often

I think people on here should stop being so cutting when a player has one bad game, or if their player has one good game. It's getting on my nerves now.

It was a football discussion. Di Maria has had a bad start to the season and the question is whether Mourinho will keep picking him.

In fairness I have said that IMO he is world class on his day.

Not just on about Di Maria, it's been irking me for a while now. It's like being in a league with 14 other Fans (I exclude Cherries as he doesn't even know who half his squad is)

You've got to be able to discuss players performances as it helps judge ratings etc.

Otherwise it will end up like Pull's league where they rate players based on who was good when they first started playing 606 back on BBC. In his league, Cambiasso is still a god (sorry Hero)

I add, as long as it is backed up by the actual performance and not made up just to put down an opposition player.

I agree judging players ratings, but it gets on my nerves when I get told several of my players are worthless and it's not like it's every now and then, it's every week and it annoys me.

To balance it out, James Rodriguez was awesome last weekend and I think you are undervaluing him in some of your deals

Thing is with all the propaganda, people tend to just listen to one or two managers with a reputation. My ratings are pretty different to most people's and I stand by them. I don't care.

It's very much a form based league though so that's how it works, on a par with Messi one week, not fit to tie Heskey's boots the next.
Look at Hazard as an example, pre season you couldn't get shut of him quick enough, he's now regarded as the best attacking midfielder in the league.

I agree on that, when I added him on the Di Maria deal Id have been chuffed if I'd have come away with something on him.

Hazard wasn't fantastic at the weekend but should have had a penalty awarded. Torres worryingly looked back to his 'if still playing now still wouldn't have scored' form.

Cazorla though continues to impress, always liked him at Villarreal and Malaga but he's just different class now.

Trebs, when people tell you your players aren't good enough, it'll usually be followed up by "sell him/them to me and cut your losses" and it's an attempt to steal your big name players.

At least that's what i'm reading from all the M'Vila bashing

Whilst Moura seemed to plummet in value due to not signing for Utd he's gone back to Brazil and has been quality. 5 assists and 3 goals so far this season. PSG need him before Jan although they seem to be getting into gear now.

Don't think many would declare Neymar isn't a quality player either and he continues to remain there. There is starting to get a fair bit of money in the Brazilian league now as the BRIC nations start to flex their growing wealth.

I've been monitoring him still but he played exceptionally well v Portuguesa and had a hand in three goals.

I watch a lot of Brazilian football when it's possible their quite a few players just as good as Neymar/Lucas tbh

Be interesting to see how Ganso goes on now he's agreed To join Sao Paolo.

Well he couldn't exactly stay at Santos after his dispute tbh

I think anyone who says the Brazilian league is poor is living 5 years in the past.

There is a lot of money in it now, and there is a good reason why a lot of the big names, where in the past would jum ship to europe, are sticking around.

A lot of high paid players are going the opposite way.
