Cody Rhodes

What’s the situation with Cody Rhodes at the moment. Rewind to the start of the year, and Cody was viewed by many as a hot prospect for a push to “the next level.” So far that hasn’t materialised.

Last week, Cody faced off with Seth Rollins at an NXT live show, the match quickly became a triple threat match with Kassius Ohno (Chris Hero) added to the mix. Rollins scored the win, pinning Ohno. At the end of the match Rollins and Rhodes faced off in the ring, and Rhodes placed the NXT title on Rollins shoulder, and then shook his hand. – By all accounts this match was fantastic, well worth watching if you can find it on YouTube.

At NOC, Rhodes was involved in the 4way IC match, and was pinned by The Miz. I’m not surprised to see The Miz retain, but was surprised that Rhodes took the pinfall.

Where does this leave Cody Rhodes? Can anyone else see a potential face turn? Would a turn benefit Rhodes? What does he need to do to get that push to main event status?

Also i think it kinda of made sense to have him take the pin Sin Cara/Rey are going after tag titles and miz is champion so seemed to right decision to me anyway
