I can kind of see Laudrup's point, but it's a slippery slope whenever cash is involved to aid performance. Bad habit altogether and it should really be banished.

2-1 – Hangover 69
1-2 – Real Ale Sociedad – Schurrle; Torres, Hazard
1-1 – Dzeko; Hazard
2-3 – Real Ale Sociedad
2-1 – Hangover 69
Totals:
Hangover 69 = 10 divided by 7 = 1.42 rounded to 1
Real Ale Sociedad = 8 divided by 7 = 1.142 rounded to 1
Final Score:
Hangover 69 1-1 Real Ale Sociedad
Dzeko; Torres
Feedback:
I felt Hangover were wells set-up to cope with the threat Real Ale posed. The full backs stayed back and did a good job of dealing with Sterling and Ramirez, whilst Capoue dealt well with Hazard. This stifled the service Torres received and blunted the Real Ale attack. Hangover then got the win with the sucker punch
Dzeko gave Kaboul a hanful on problems. Very strong forward on his day and today was just that. Bit of a lucky win in fact. Gerrard wasted possesion a number fo time with "Hollywood" balls, when given the chance to try he was pinging them left right and centre when a better pass option was on. Hazard was bight, Capoue did well to follow him around but Hazard being that bit better managed to play his trade, finishing from Torres should be been better.
For me I like Hangover’s side, but I prefer the way Real Ale are set out, with Gerrard struggling to contain Diaby especially in midfield. Kaboul deals with Dzeko well, and for me Torres causes Terry and Cahill all sorts of problems, along with Hazard who has too much quality for Capoue, so I can see Real Ale winning this one.
Tight game i think an even draw was fair in the end with Dzeko getting an early strike before hazard equalised
Close match. Ale had a slight advantage with better tactics but I feel Capoue wasn't given enough instructions on how to deal with Hazard, who was unplayable at times.
Hangover have vastly improved. Their midfield are dominate and this wins them the game. Ramirez could be improved on

Viva City = 4 divided by 7 = 0.57 rounded to 1
Final Score:
Athletico Bilbao Baggins 2-1 Viva City
Higuain, Cazorla; Mata
Feedback:
A cracking game. ABB tactics of playing narrow worked at splitting the CBs and creating space for the AM. Huntelaar was also taken out of the game effectively by Hummels. However, it was difficult for the ABB FBs to get forward as much as the formation required because of the threat of the Viva wide players. Also, with Toure bombing forward and De Rossi busy between Pirlo and covering the FBs, Mata enjoyed a lot of space and it was his peformance which earned Viva the draw.
Bore draw. Bilbao were quite narrow up top, only width came from when FB could come up to support, Valencia did a great job of pinning Cole back & tracking him. Richards on the other hand had more sucsess attacking but his final ball lacked. The Bilbao defence held strong.
For me this is a draw and I’ll tell you for why. I don’t really understand why Baggins have gone narrow, I feel that Viva’s FB’s could be attacked. They make it a bit too congested in the middle for me, however they are solid at the back, so I can only see a goalless draw here.
Very tight game with both teams having very strong Midfields but felt that ABB had a slightly stronger one and managed to score through a header from a free kcik
The tactics of Bilbao were more superior than Viva city's while also the quality in the teams starting 11 was a contributing factor to a win for Bilbao. Pirlo played as well as he could but the 3some of Xavi, De Rossi and Toure was a bit to much for Viva city to handle. Viva city needed to put another body in the centre of midfield as they were overun there.
The quality just beams out of Bilbao. Viva give them a good game but the better (tactically and quality) prevail.
AC ALSOAM vs Treble’s Revenge
- Spoiler:
- Results:
1-2 – Treble’s Revenge – Osvaldo; Rodriguez x2
0-2 – Treble’s Revenge – Pepe, Ibrahimovic
3-0 – AC ALSOAM
1-1 – Ibrahimovic; Tevez
2-3 – Treble’s Revenge – Schweinsteiger x2; Ibrahimovic x2, Eto’o
1-2 – Treble’s Revenge
2-1 – AC ALSOAM
Totals:
AC ALSOAM = 10 divided by 7 = 1.42 rounded to 1
Treble’s Revenge = 11 divided by 7 = 1.57 rounded to 2
Final Score:
AC ALSOAM 1-2 Treble’s Revenge
Tevez; Ibrahimovic, Rodriguez
Feedback:
Firstly, I think it is a bit harsh saying that the AC ALSOAM midfielders are past their best when they are aged 28/29!! In my opinion, the two midfields were closely matched although Gustavo needs to be improved on for Treble’s can take the step up to being serious contenders. AC ALSOAM played right into Treble’s hands by playing a high line. They did negate the threat of Ibrahimovich, but then left bags of space in behind which was perfect for Eto’o, Rodriguez and Di maria to exploit
AC high line did not work today as Di Maria had a MOTTM game. Constant trouble with his pace getting in behind AC's high line. Di Maria was happy to go wide when forced but certianly caused more trouble when he was coming inside. Handing Tevez a free role was to great effect, he was his usual tenacious self but may of spent more time running around than being the goal threat he is capable of. Pepe finished the game off with a bullet header from a Di Maria corner.
Some strange selections in my opinion from Marky here. For me although Kompany had a bad game against Madrid the other night, he is still the best CB in the game, and to drop him against Ibrahimovic and Eto’o was in my opinion a baffling decision. However onto the game, I can see ALSOAM dominating possession, and nicking a goal through Tevez who has a lot of room throughout, but Trebke’s just possess to much in attack for a Kompany-less defence, and they get a thoroughly deserved equaliser through Ibrahimovic.
a very attacking game with both sides create many chances , Ibra scored late on to snatch the game from a corner.
Alsoam needed someone more deadly up front imo to finish off their chances as Osvaldo looked like a fish out of water at times. Revenge were mostly threatening from the right wing as Kolarov was having troubles with the pace of Di Maria.
Tevez maybe only small but he has a very low centre of gravity and can't be knocked over that easy. With the likes of crouchinho coming off the bench to change the game. All jokes aside AC are tactically stronger and will make more use of possession. And with pepe focusing on Tevez and being dragged all over the place Osvaldo will be able to be the difference upfront. Ibrahimovic does cause problems up front for AC but nothing the commanding centre backs wouldn't be able to deal with
London Silly Nannies vs Jacamos Utd

2-1 – London Silly Nannies
2-1 – London Silly Nannies
Totals:
London Silly Nannies = 11 divided by 7 = 1.57 rounded to 2, +1 goal for 3 more wins votes = 3
Jacamos Utd = 9 divided by 7 = 1.28 rounded to 1
Final Score:
London Silly Nannies 3-1 Jacamos Utd
Ozil, Cavani, Carroll; Munain
Feedback:
An exciting game in which it proved impossible to split the teams. Jacamos played possession football, whilst LSN brought in Ramires who provided the energy to hassle the Jacamos in possession. Jacamos succeeded in taking the lead as their counter attcking style was too quick for the LSN defence, but then The AM trio of LSN were almost impossible to keep contained and Ozil earned them the draw.
With an engine room of Busquets & Ramires The Nannies won the game late on. Ozil gave The Nannies the lead from the spot when Dante bought down Cavani in the box. Nannies looked ever threatening but were caught out by a fantastic through ball from Alonso. Negredo was in an offside position but cleverly stood still and let the ball pass him where an on running Muniain picked it up, took two touches inside & fired low into the bottom corner of Ochoa goal. Questions were asked of the linesman not to flag Negredo for this controversial goal. The real drama came in the 2nd minute of injury time, Carroll on the pitch The Nannies got the peppering on the go. And a late Carroll header got them the win.
This is a tight match here, especially in the middle of the park where it is a hotly contested battle. However this game is won for me on the wings, and I prefer the natural width that Jacamos have, and in Negredo they have a striker that will feed off the service given from Young especially. Cavani is dealt with well by the Jacamos defence, and I see them getting an early goal, then holding on and nicking a second at the death.
i felt that LSN where more of a threat up front then Jacomaos who missed Lewen today
I feel Jacamos defence dealt with the LSN attack more effectively than vice versa. The midfield trio of Alonso, Martinez and Fellaini were more than a match for the attacking threat that LSN had.
Jacaomos did very well to keep themselves in the game but with their attack. Chasing a game for 90 minutes against a good passing is very hard work and it's only a matter of time before LSN break through and score.

Re: Euro Division Homepage XXX
I wanted to wait until after results to post anything, so here goes.
After a short spell in the Furious League, and being in the Euro Division from day 1, a total of about 9 months, I am simply bored of these games. The reboot should make it worthwhile to stick around but I'm bored of the lack of transfers, I'm bored of being accused of vote fixing (untrue by the way), and while I like the tactics side of things, I'm bored of having to come online to do them. Its stopped being fun so the AC ALSOAM post is available as soon as someone wants to join the league.
Everything's sorted for the Cup fixture wise, AC ALSOAM are defending champions with a pretty good squad if I may say so myself, so I don't think it would be too hard to find a replacement manager.

Barearselona vs Holton
3-1
3-1 Benzema, Robben, Coentrao - Defoe
3-2
1-1
1-0 Podolski
0-0
2-1 Benzema, Podolski - Defoe
1-1
Total
14-7
Result
3-1
The power of nandos wingers is the key here as Holton are weak at fullback. I can definitely see Defoe causing problems for nandos defence but ultimately it comes down to Holton over stretching at fullback.
Extremely odd tactics from Nando on paper but not altogether bad considering their appearance. Olly is a bit respectful of the wingers and his full backs more attacking instincts are a little curbed. Consequently I think this will actually end up a draw, which is a bit miraculous considering my eyebrows hit the roof when I saw Nando’s set up.
Robben and Podolski should have played much narrower for Barearselona as often Benzema was on his own. Essien and Inler aren't the kind of players who can get forward and get a goal and this hurt them. Olly's team had a much better balance to it and dealt with Benzema. However going forward they lack a bit of quality that Barearselona have but they used what they had more effectively. The three at the back dealt with Defoe successfully though, so a 0-0 but not a boring one. Good game.
I think Barearselona understimated Holtons winger in defensive role which limited their own wingers attacking threat. I feel Essien was not the ideal man to play a box to box role Defour and Witsel were able to match the midfield. Barearselona defended very well to keep the threat of Holton attackers at bay as the game went on the game was a little more open.
City of Norwich vs Zidanes
3-1
1-2 Nasri - Neymar, Damiao
0-2
0-2
1-2 Soldado - Kagawa, Llorente
1-2
0-2 Dede, Willian
1-2
Total
7-15
Result
1-4
I don't feel that Zidane could handle Nasri in full flow and that is the difference. Hopefully the new manager can put his stamp on the team this week, possibly by selling neymar to strengthen throughout the team.
I am impressed with Zidane’s set up and I think that Neymar will run wild in a free role as opposed to leading the line – a good move for me. Their wingers are far too good for the CON full backs and in the other direction I can’t see them breaking through a solid back line that is well shielded by 2 deep midfielders.
Neither sides have good enough defenses, but with Butland as a translator Zidane's side pulled through and got the win. However, if the goalkeeper was a Brazilian then it would have been a mess. I think they should sign a better goalkeeper though and make Butland the assistant manager. In all seriousness, Zidane's side deserved the win as they were stronger tactically and have a lot more quality going forward. Both teams need to improve though, especially in defense, if they want to get anywhere in this division.
CON need to make some serious changes to their side, other teams have improved a lot and they are still at the level they started of at. Nasri seems like the only one to do something but he needs others to work with him to be effective. Murder looked good but I feel it was more to do with the opposition then thier ability.
Substandard Liege v Bulltatorship
2-0 Balotelli, Reus
2-1
2-1
2-0
1-0 Pastore
3-0
3-0
2-1
Total
17-3
Result
4-0
Narrow win for Afro, and Bull has a decent set of tactics today looking to pressure the ball and use a more fluid front line. Ultimately Afro has a pretty settled team and a superior midfield and I think Pastore, Reus and Balotelli will have too much for a slightly weaker defence.
Gotham's tactics were late, but even if they are allowed then they lost. They don't have a proper DM, Motta is better going forward with more freedom. Trying to man-mark Balotelli was also not a clever idea as he dragged them all over the place. Klose didn't get an inch against the Liege defense.
I think Vidal is good enough to play as an enforcer and get the ball around, Machreano the dead weight and may cost Standard in bigger games when players have to make more contribution with the ball.
Eagles v Nadrid
5-0
3-1 Cleverley, Soldado, Pedro - Khedira
1-3
2-2
1-2 Soldado - Kagawa, Llorente
2-2
0-1 Oxo
1-3
Total
15-16
Result
2-2
The eagles run rampant with pedro and lavezzi tearing Nadrid apart. I still feel that Nadrid need 2/3 players whereas eagles are one of the strongest sides in the championship
A close one to call, and both sides are value for an entertaining draw. I’m not sure Khedira is a DM so much these days but there isn’t really a pure AM in the opposition either so the battle is down the wings and the big strikers. Both sides have talented wingers and I can see goals being provided here, ultimately although more attacking, Russ’s defence is probably a little weaker and Nadrid’s counter attacks will catch them out for the draw.
This was a great game. Eagles had the players to dominate possession and did so with good play. Rodwell getting on Scholes stopped Nadrid playing. However, on the counter Nadrid did well and Llorente's role as a target man suited him, especially against Luiz and Badstuber who are better playing the ball on the ground instead of defending in this sort of scenario.
Eagles lacked some experience in this midfield they got bullied of the ball and it was Real who played the possesion game, they had a better balance in midfield which allowed thier players to excel in thier roles. With Real playing deep and controlling midfield the Eagles wide forward didn;t get as much as a chance to attack which limited thier attacking game. Luiz was no match for Llorente in the physical side and lost out to the headers flick ons.

Itd be sad to see you go Marky, youre good fun to have around here I hope you dont leave.
Cheers Viva, you sending me those tactics prior really screwed me mentally as I didn't know if it was bluff, double bluff or whatever!
Don't think I could have written a better instruction though on Hummels marking Huntelaar, that genuinely looks like I was in on your team talk to him reading back, good job we did post at the same time.
Compliment to you that I take that as my best victory I've ever had.

I also want to quickly mention before eyebrows etc are raised of which I myself have been part of so I openly apologize to both parties now.
The 5-0 vote for Russell was NOT by Marky.

Olly, I think its because the 4-4-1-1 formation didn't work for your side. It was too defensive and with your squad I'd say attack is the best form of defence.
Stick to 4-2-3-1/4-3-3/4-4-2

But when I do play those formations people say my wingers dont get back in to help. It's a no win situation

*sigh*
That 5-0 is way too inconsistent with the other scores. Hero I would like to know what the person who voted 5-0 voted the previous fixture please as I want to rule out the worst case scenario of him being biased. 5-0 for gods sale it's not rugby you know!

I definitely think you should use a results based system rather than a scoreline based system.

I love that someone tried to get Zidane to sell Neymar in their feedback...I'm sure its unbiased and the person who gave the feedback doesn't want to buy Neymar...
Also, I think the results system is fine. Geared towards wins rather than draws.

I don't mind losing 2-0 or 3-0 but I honestly don't think my defence would concede 5 goals. 5 goals conceded by this defence
---------------------------- Vorm ------------------------
Boateng--------B Alves-------Ramos-----------J Alba
The back 4 are international regulars. 2 of them play for the biggest teams in the world. Someone has it in for me and i'm gonna find out who it is and cyberbully them. Just joking.
