Good to see Cips is taking his rugby seriously again by talking about his tattooed arm and Twitter.

Re: CIPS
No idea why he's talked about. There's a lot of low profile players in the Sale team that could have this written about them, so my question is why is Cips considered high profile? Just let him play rugby with giving special care to working on his defence.

Do any of these guys who like to write their life history on their arms or legs or torsos or backs, do they ever think of just keeping a diary?

To be fair, these guys aren't paid to be Mastermind contenders, they're paid to play professionally at their respective sports and be good at them.
In Beckham's defence (and i'm no footy fan) at least he was demonstrably excellent within his own sport. He was/is also a great servant to his country and has been consistently hard working with respects to his own sport and that of the Olympic committee. He's also shown considerable talent in other business fields too.
Cipriani on the other hand has done very little that would earn him respect from my point of view.

How is Cips doing in the League. Is there any way that he could make the Saxon or 6N squads

And he wants to be making headlines for his rugby again. "I only want attention for the sport, you know."
He says in a article almost exclusively around off the field matters

In Beckham's defence (and I'm no footy fan either) he just seems a really nice man - a gentleman.

Unless he improves all round 100%, he is not gonna get ahead of Flood, and will also be behind Ford, Burns, Heathcote, and Farrell if he can sort out his distribution and attack.
Even our own Joel Hodgson is looking a far more exciting option...

And this is considered by the BBC to be more worthy of top story than Cusiter and Foden's respective injuries.

Sale's only try of the weekend came when Cipriani was getting up from the bottom of the breakdown and Miller stepped into the playmaker role. I know he's looking more and more like a FB rather than a FH (Goodesque), but I'd probably prefer him over Cipriani as well, he's a long way off selection.

They have to publish articles that appeal to the lowest common denomenator on non-discriminatory grounds.

Cipriani is a bit immature but not as bad as some of the press makes out. I hope he improves his d and stays under the radar cause he's a good player.

His performance in THAT game he played for England vs Ireland was wonderful - but its a long time ago.
I could be wrong but I think I saw something about a charge down in one of his games for Sale - some things dont change

Re: CIPS
Don't forget that Cipriani also missed the tackle against Goode which allowed him to break and tee up the winning try for Ashton in the 2nd game - Sale vs Saracens.
I think the stats of that game showed he made 4 tackles, missed 3.
Unfortunately Cipriani is far away from his HC glory day for Wasps and his 1 good performance for England.

Re: CIPS
I think it's still early days to judge Cipriani this season. Sale have been pretty poor as a team, and are all still getting to know eachother.
I personally think he's a very good player with alot of talent. He has issues with his game, certainly defence springs to mind, but given that England doesn't have a complete fly half to select, I think the selectors need to be open minded and just look at form. Currently Cipriani isn't there at present, but if has an injury free season and Sale as a team pick up (which I think they will), I'll wager he'll improve as the season goes on.

If he can play well, then of course he should be considered. Right now though there is nothing he has done on the pitch to suggest he should be involved.
I am expecting a MotM performance from him tomorrow though.

I have a quarter of me that is Welsh. It's alright though i had an tonsilectomy w/ addenoids out and appendectomy as a child .... so as far as i'm concerned that's removed that part.

Hate to break it to you but your first sentence suggests you missed the Welsh bits. Indeed, your whole statement suggests the quarter you were worried about wasn't Welsh at all...but some of Tiger's Irish.

Only Cipriani could give a press conference about how hes enjoying life out of the limelight
Im sure his teammates will be glad to hear the coach saying its their fault that Ciprianis been a non event so far.

Re: CIPS
Very poor BBC article on Cipriani. If you are going to talk about him may as well mention his HC win with Wasps as a full back. I went to that game - Cipriani was very good in that final vs Leicester.
Also went to the game when he ran the show at fly half when England hammered Ireland. He was really good that day but after that he's never been the same.
That's where the hype came from but he hasn't built on it.
Giving the opposition a try from chargedowns 4 games in a row is never a good idea.
Before the hype went to Cipriani's head he was a great England prospect, he could actually defend too.
I have seen and heard nothing that Cipriani has done which deserves the hype to continue.
He's still error prone and has difficulty tackling. I can't see him changing this at Sale.

In general I agree. Does not make my comment on his tats unfair. Cruel maybe, but not unfair.
Cipriani however could be made fun of for many more reasons.

Well, if you're going to split hairs, PSW.
Seems to be a new rule - if you have enough children and you're good enough at your job, people seem to forget all about affairs (see, eg, Gordon Ramsay, Prince of Wales, etc).

What difference does it make what people do in their private lives unless it has a direct impact on how they play or if it involves another player some how.
