Countries for Reboot

Zidane - Italy
Russell - Germany
Treble - Germany
Marky - Spain
Nadeem - England
Olly - Italy
Hero - Spain
Gregers - Spain
Fernando - England
Sodhat - Italy
Twist - Germany
Viva - England
Afro - Italy
Bull - Germany
New Player - Spain
Tooze - England

Here’s how it basically works.
You have a budget of 100m to purchase a squad with the following stipulations:

1. You MUST have a minimum of 6 players from the country designated to you.
2. You MUST have a minimum of 3 players that were born on or after 1st October 1991.
3. You CANNOT go over the squad limit of 25.

To buy your squad then you must make sealed bids for the players. How this works is that you check the value of the players on TM, the MINIMUM cost is what their value is on there, but you can bid more than that as others may wish to buy that player. The maximum value of a player that you can bid for is £12m although may wish to bid more than that in order to acquire him.
So for example;
Bull places a sealed bid of 875k for Paul Scholes as that is the TM value.
Viva places a sealed bid of 1m for Scholes as he thinks others may be bidding for him.

Viva therefore wins.

ALL squads are PM’d to myself and a designated neutral party (to ensure fairplay I will send my squad list first so it cannot be said I’ve gazumped anyone). I then reveal who has got which player in the first draft.
We continue the process until everyone has then spent up and we move onto the Star Player bid which works under the same principle although you have a budget of 25m + whatever remained from your normal bids for ONE player who has a value up to 25m

I am quite pleased with my picks. Germany is quite difficult actually. Hit the 100m target dead. It was hard to split it and try and get the players I wanted.

My team sort of relies on my star player bid lol.

Now gonna make the plunge whether to go with extra depth for squad with a player, or save money for star player

Viva, watched Lawless last ngiht, real good film. Tom Hardy is good in it.

What the minimum squad limit?
Also what the max spend again? £12m and £25m on star player?

I know this has been discussed but does it not make more sense to send the star player bids along with the draft.

The savvy amongst could work out anyone who has any of their £100m left to put towards their star player bid and have an idea of their maximum bid. Espeically given the country thing, people could easily guess who other people might go for in star players

Min: 17 + 1 SP

You can spend as much as you want on a squad player, as long as the TM price is £12m or under. Any money left from your 100m squad cash, can be used for SP's. So you can spend whatever you have left plus your 25m SP budget. However the star player must be £25m or less on TM.

You can only go for players £12m or less on TM value website, but can bid as much as you want for them.

Star player is £25m player value maximum on website, but if you have some of your £100m left over, this can go into your star player budget and you can bid more for them

I think I know that popular player, and I think I have also bid for him.

I also don't think I will get him as I am a tight wad and never bid over the TM value in the belief that there is plenty of other options out there.

I was searching for players on my PS3 yesterday and for some reason it wouldn't let me search for players outside of England. It kept saying "no results found". So my squad will be mostly Premier league based unless I can get on to a PC later on and have a more thorough look at players.

Agreed. Im estimating I will lose out on around 8-12 players due to being a tight wad.

I reckon there are 4 players which I wouldn't be surprised if I was the only one to go for them.

The rest are up in the air and I could easily be rescouting for another 13 players
