Here’s how it basically works.
You have a budget of 100m to purchase a squad with the following stipulations:

1. You MUST have a minimum of 6 players from the country designated to you.
2. You MUST have a minimum of 3 players that were born on or after 1st October 1991.
3. You CANNOT go over the squad limit of 25.

To buy your squad then you must make sealed bids for the players. How this works is that you check the value of the players on TM, the MINIMUM cost is what their value is on there, but you can bid more than that as others may wish to buy that player. The maximum value of a player that you can bid for is £12m although may wish to bid more than that in order to acquire him.
So for example;
Bull places a sealed bid of 875k for Paul Scholes as that is the TM value.
Viva places a sealed bid of 1m for Scholes as he thinks others may be bidding for him.

Viva therefore wins.

ALL squads are PM’d to myself and a designated neutral party (to ensure fairplay I will send my squad list first so it cannot be said I’ve gazumped anyone). I then reveal who has got which player in the first draft.
We continue the process until everyone has then spent up and we move onto the Star Player bid which works under the same principle although you have a budget of 25m + whatever remained from your normal bids for ONE player who has a value up to 25m

Norwich were my favourite subbuteo team from 1989-1993, so I should be fairly okay on my trivia...

Any man can bring up random facts, but it takes a true Canary to know that Jeremy Goss turned down his brothers Matt and Luke when they formed Bros, and that Ian Culverhouse was born in the same room - at the same time - as one of my uncles.

By the way, Ekoku scored those 4 goals in September 1993, and Martin O'Neill was definitely a Norwich player at the 82 WC. Wynton Rufer, the New Zealand striker, had a trial at Norwich in 82, but wasn't given a work permit. Shame, as he was good on Sensible Soccer. Oh, and that stor about Ian Culverhouse is true too!

Every world cup squads website I have seen with the New Zealand squad for 1982, doesn't have him playing at Norwich.

Anyways I don't have a clue who he is lol, technically he never even played for Norwich Whistle

My flat mate buys it tonight and we'll play it for a while I reckon. I'll have to make my decision on whether to buy it based on that.

Well, that, and whether I want to leave my home this weekend.

Fifa 12 was genuinely the most realistic football game I've ever played. I guess 13 will be even better, but if it's minor I'll stick to 12 and buy the new Madden.

I used to love PES and played from 3 through to the 2008 version on PS2. They were great games but not as realistic as Fifa 12 was, in my own opinion.

One thing I loved about PES was the ability to score insane goals. I scored from everywhere on that thing!

Rufer had his work permit application turned down by the Home Office because New Zealand wasn't a footballing hotbed in '82. And it was definitely '82.

My FIFA 13 is coming later from Amazon. I didn't get FIFA 12 so I'm pretty excited to get my hands on Lukaku and El Ghanassy at Albion.

If anyone wants to add me, my gamertag is AzzyMahmood.

Viva, I've had matching jackets made for us when we're in the dugout. We'll be like the Hart Foundation Very Happy

PES used to be so good!! I had so much love for it on the PS2, but They just lost the touch and FIFA took over in 09.

Intersting or not so interesting fact

2 of those Glenn Roeder Loan Signings are currently in prison, the two players in Question being Ched Evans and Eliott Omozusi

And they were all done from Memory Sodhat, all but 5 of them were awful, so will def stick out in the memory

No way does it include Diamanti! He was excellent for us all season and I was sad to see him go. He was our second best player that year behind Scott Parker.

Radicioiu never got going for us. Futre would have been alright if he didn't sign and get injured after 1 game (or so).

What happened to Diamanti after he left West Ham. He looks like a completely different player.

How about Kovac?

What happened to Diamanti after he left West Ham. He looks like a completely different player.

How about Kovac?
