Here’s how it basically works.
You have a budget of 100m to purchase a squad with the following stipulations:
1. You MUST have a minimum of 6 players from the country designated to you.
2. You MUST have a minimum of 3 players that were born on or after 1st October 1991.
3. You CANNOT go over the squad limit of 25.
To buy your squad then you must make sealed bids for the players. How this works is that you check the value of the players on TM, the MINIMUM cost is what their value is on there, but you can bid more than that as others may wish to buy that player. The maximum value of a player that you can bid for is £12m although may wish to bid more than that in order to acquire him.
So for example;
Bull places a sealed bid of 875k for Paul Scholes as that is the TM value.
Viva places a sealed bid of 1m for Scholes as he thinks others may be bidding for him.
Viva therefore wins.
ALL squads are PM’d to myself and a designated neutral party (to ensure fairplay I will send my squad list first so it cannot be said I’ve gazumped anyone). I then reveal who has got which player in the first draft.
We continue the process until everyone has then spent up and we move onto the Star Player bid which works under the same principle although you have a budget of 25m + whatever remained from your normal bids for ONE player who has a value up to 25m
Clarification: Betting players or money between 2 clubs is strictly prohibited

To those of you in the Prem playoffs, I still only have three votes on your games (plus mine)

If I don't bid for a star player can the £25M I have for that, go towards my 2nd draft budget?

Olly - it can't be used in the drafts. I think Hero said it could be kept in your budget once the game begins, but wait for his confirmation for that

If you're not wanting a star player, then I'm saying get someone, sell to me for a profit then you can use the cash to improve the rest of your squad.

Yeah but Trebs all of my targets will probably be gone, so might as well splash out on a star man, rather then hope that a couple of players remain when in all likelihood they wont

Re: Euro Division Homepage XXXII
And it was not that I dont want a star player, just if we were allowed to add the money to our draft budget, that probably would have been my better option.
However after all this, I will probably not get half of my second draft, and lose out on my star player

Re: Euro Division Homepage XXXII
Your Star Player is anyone up to a value of £25m. Technically your Star Player bid could be £500k for Djimi Traore and the rest of the money goes to your budget once the league begins.

There's nothing wrong with a bit of physicality in football afro. It's just that Barca over exaggerate every time they get fouled.

Physicality? Pepe went into Abidal studs first at his head.
Real and Barca are as bad as each other so no point trying to single Barca out

Re: Euro Division Homepage XXXII
But football is a contact sport. If you can't handle the rough tackles then football is not the sport for you is what I say to the barca players. Sure some of them tackles in the video you posted were a bit OTT but thats what the referee is there for. But trying to deceive the referee by over exaggerating/pretending to be injured to get the opposition sent off is even worse imo. It ruins a football game. For example

My god Real and Barca are both pathetic in there play acting, it is embarassing from both. Bad as each other and quite frankly I cant watch Spanish football because of the play acting that goes on, as it annoys me so much

I've got an Xbox 360 elite slim version, it's got a piano black finish, 250gb, two wireless pads with chargers. Got a couple of games, Fifa 11, COD MW2 and another one. I won't get much for it if I try and sell it, I don't play it anymore and it's collecting dust. If you want it you can have it for free seriously.

Nani's capable of that moment of brilliance, but Valencia is more consistent. I'd take Valencia definitely, but can see why people think Nani is quality because he comes up with those odd moments and they forget the poorer crosses and other mistakes before.

It is the type of football I love! Proper old fashioned set up shop for 88 minutes after nicking a cheeky goal!!!

I think everyone appreciates the style we win with Olly. Anti football...and I don't care!
Everyone should watch Noble tonight. He's very good but so understated. A lot of my own West Ham supporting mates don't appreciate him.
We ran out of beer at home, so its three boys with nothing but red wine.
