Here’s how it basically works.
You have a budget of 100m to purchase a squad with the following stipulations:

1. You MUST have a minimum of 6 players from the country designated to you.
2. You MUST have a minimum of 3 players that were born on or after 1st October 1991.
3. You CANNOT go over the squad limit of 25.

To buy your squad then you must make sealed bids for the players. How this works is that you check the value of the players on TM, the MINIMUM cost is what their value is on there, but you can bid more than that as others may wish to buy that player. The maximum value of a player that you can bid for is £12m although may wish to bid more than that in order to acquire him.
So for example;
Bull places a sealed bid of 875k for Paul Scholes as that is the TM value.
Viva places a sealed bid of 1m for Scholes as he thinks others may be bidding for him.

Viva therefore wins.

ALL squads are PM’d to myself and a designated neutral party (to ensure fairplay I will send my squad list first so it cannot be said I’ve gazumped anyone). I then reveal who has got which player in the first draft.
We continue the process until everyone has then spent up and we move onto the Star Player bid which works under the same principle although you have a budget of 25m + whatever remained from your normal bids for ONE player who has a value up to 25m

Hero said earlier that he would get to the rebids and hopefully open second drafts tomorrow.

I get the feeling he is quite busy, so let's not set a time or date, and whenever he does it is when it will be done, even if that is in 2 weeks time.

And don't ask him about them every couple of hours

Hey guys.

If anyone's interested, there's a Chelsea vacancy on the realistic league. It's probably the strongest side on paper, and all that's required is 150 words tactics and some predictions.

Cheers OK

For the record:

Cech
Ivanovic Terry Cahill Cole
Carrick Essien Moutinho
Di Maria Higuain Mata

Julio Cesar
Anyukov Vertonghen Caulker Baines
Tiote Fellaini Modric
Hazard Llorente Bale

Cech > Julio Cesar
Ivanovic > Anyukov
Terry > Vertonghen
Cahill > Caulker
Cole = Baines
Carrick > Tiote
Essien < Fellaini
Moutinho < Modric
Di Maria > Hazard
Higuain > Llorente

Morning all

I was going to say that I can't believe people are going Mata = Bale, or even Bale > Mata. Mata is > all day long for me.

And Moutinho > Modric was up there a couple too...that's a strange one in my opinion.

I can't see a basis where he could possibly be called better than Modric, or what he provides that Modric doesn't do better.

Neither would get in to the West Ham midfield though.

Your right. They both seem to keep it on the floor and neither are the best headers of the ball Whistle

Exactly. Weaklings. Diame would eat them for breakfast, after slowing them down with a crunching lunge.

In fairness, I think our midfield is pretty strong and well balanced as a three. Noble has been player of the season for us so far, and he's turned into a real industrious ball winner. He used to be a more forward thinking passer but he's rounded off to be very complete in the middle. If Milner gets an England call up I don't see why Noble can't.

I've always liked Noble.

I used to have him in my fantasy league team a lot because he got the penalties, and also a decent number of assists.

He's a bit like Leon Osman for us. A real unsung hero who doesn't get wide range recognition but always seems to be one of the managers first picks on the teamsheet

Osman was always a player I thought could do something for England too. Maybe versatility killed him, but he's a tricky player and weighs in with goals.

Right guys - those yet to vote on the Championship or Premier League play-offs, please try and do so by this afternoon if you can. It would be mighty fine of you.

We want to get the results out and then move on with the rest of the set up for the new leagues, and it will happen much quicker with your co-operation...

I put him in this year but nothing so far, ive now benched him and will sell soon.

West Ham are a filthy team!!! 8 yellow cards last night, pure filth!

It wasn't really filthy yellows, but nonetheless deserved ones. QPR only got two yellows...but they both went to the same guy Laugh

We haven't won any pens yet, and Taylor had been playing and taking the set pieces. With Jarvis in, it's likely he'll get some assists now.

Who knows how much I'll get for trading Rocksmith in? It cost like £50 and was released Friday, but I won't play it and I want to get Madden 13 instead. I'll probably get about £20 or something won't I?

Hello, won my first match online yesterday 2-1 Arsenal V Real Madrid
Ive drawn my first 2 Ultimate Team online matches 1-1. Some guy had Pazzani up front and Mata attacking mid and failed to beat me.
Second I played just kept doing loads on trickes all the time with Urby Emanuelson, so annoying. One thing I hate about playing onlie is getting D Head players like that who just constantly do trick after trick utill they beat your player!! Eventually you either tackle them or it pulls off, especially when they have the ball they just do one after another after another after another. FIFA really does pee me off at times. AT least I have Blops 2 next month to play and FIFA can go sit for a bit.

Yeah I have Sodhat, I couldn't bear it anymore and had to get it.

I checked CEX for Rocksmith

http://uk.webuy.com/search/index.php?stext=rocksmith&ispostback=1&mode=buy

I'd check out Gamestation, GAME, HMV but you'll probably get the best price on ebay for it.

You could always take it back claiming it doesn't work properly, say you played it for half an hour and it skipped about a dozen times, so you want to return it and get a new game/store credit.

I could do

I actually bought it from Tesco so I'd have to try my luck there instead. I don't know though, it was my mistake buying it so I'll probably suck up the loss and get as much as I can towards Madden. It'll probably be about a £70 total loss to get one game though Laugh

You could always take it back claiming it doesn't work properly, say you played it for half an hour and it skipped about a dozen times, so you want to return it and get a new game/store credit.

No no don't do that, they'll just give you a new copy of the game.

What I've found works is saying a relative bought you this game for your birthday and didn't realise that you had the game he/she don't have a reciept so you had to take this one back and want to swap it for another game, don't mention that you want your money back or they'll suspect you are lying.

P.S I only did this when I was in my teens, I r*** HMV for 5 games, either I didn't like the game and gave it back or completed it in like 2 days. They eventually said to me they won't accept anymore returned games from me. I know I'm going Hell for this and it's wrong but I was only little then Sad

Good idea Viva, say it was a birthday present from your mum, but you've already got it and want to exchange it. Receipt included.

I believe Monday Night Football is ESPN, not the BBC, Bull.

You'll have to have recorded it on Sky + (or be a dandy like me, and have gamepass to watch whenever).

Not always true - I once changed a pair of trousers without a receipt at Marks and Spencer's. They were suspicious, but I was being legit. I bought a size 38 (because I got confused with my jacket size) and they ended up looking like clown trousers. I changed back to my svelte 32 with no receipt and little fuss.
