Brendan Rodgers complains to refs chief because Liverpool 'don't get any decisions'

Not quite Rafa blowing his sides season in 1 rant but still.

Also complained that refs don't give Suarez the benefit of the doubt. Well Brendan thats probably because he has a large reputation as a diver.

Think it's boiled over after WBAs goal last night. Jones collected the ball over the top of a mixture of LFC and WBA players, goes down and drops it allowing them to score. This is a free kick 9 times out of 10, although wrongly in my opinion.

Regarding Suarezs reputation, officiate the decision instead of taking the players reputation in to account, referees will make more wrong decisions if they factor in reputations.

Refs are human however, and if you're 50-50 on a decision it will come into it.

Yeah, but it shouldn't. Suarez has actually been much better this year, not going down anywhere near as easily as he did in his first 18 months. The problem is that nobody has noticed as the referees don't give him the decisions and then obviously the defenders take advantage of this as they know, if they're subtle enough they can stop Suarez but not concede a free kick, and often win a free kick.

Reputations should never play a part, and if they do, the referee isn't doing his job correctly.

Thats all well and good but it does unfortunately, and will do until we bring in machines to do the job.

Boy who cried wolf etc. Suarez created his own reputation and now hes paying for it.

There's not a referee in history who's never at one time or another made a call based on reputation, whether its right or wrong its human nature and when a decision has to be made that the ref can't call 100% certain either way then like anyone else he'll never side with a guy who has either conned him in the past or has a reputation for conning his peers
