You have to use the word "might" yourself. The headline even has to say "could" as they are doing nothing but speculating. Until there is an offer for him or there is more substance to it than "sources say", it's a non story. That is obvious from the headline, the Fail offer.

This is true however there area a few questions.

would the Ospreys want him back, with Biggar and Morgan ousting him at fly half before?
Would the Scarlets risk the developement of Priestland, Jordan, Foxy or Scott?
Would the Blues be able to afford him in the cap without axing other players?
Would he be willing to sign for the Dragons, and could they stretch their budget far enough to afford him?
Would he risk signing outside of Wales again after his international career has gone down hill since leaving the Ospreys?

I'd take him - em, have him.... eh, employ him. If you can't find a place and an effective purpose for a player like Hook, then you're probably in charge of a darts team. And I don't think he's too good at darts - well, the pint holding at the same time anyway.

Bath could use him at 10/12 with Barkley going. I thought he was on silly money on France though which may make him hard to sign.

I don't think this will be the last story we hear this year of French clubs unable to afford their rugby...!
