Re: Scotland U20
When the SRU announce squads like these I wish they'd put the positions of the players down.
Quite a few good players in that squad, Chris Auld the Gala centre is apparently a cracking player and was unfortunate to miss out last season with injury.
I still don't think the preperation is that great for the scottish based players at U20 when they go onto play the internationals against the likes of England etc.
Alot of the players selected from the Scottish clubs are only playing for their 2nd xvs which obviously isn't the best preperation when they come up against the likes of England, France and the southern hemisphere teams who's players are playing at much higher levels.

+1 Couldn't agree more, Maj Completely undercooked, so get regularly humped - this then translates to the senior squad too imoMajestic83 wrote:When the SRU announce squads like these I wish they'd put the positions of the players down.

Re: Scotland U20
What i think would be a good idea which would certainly help the scottish players would be that they have something like a rabo u20 league like they do in France and to an extent the A league in England.
There would obviously be costs involved but the benefits would be great as the intensity and standard would be a lot higher than what a lot of these players currently play at now.
