My problem is I want to raise £11.3m to replace Cole with another quality LB...so £9m + doesn't get me there. To make up for the loss of the best LB in the league, I'd need some serious talent coming back, hence the higher-than-usual valuation using TM.

If there's a deal to be done, it needs to be Deulofeu (not worth £8.8m on talent alone), plus the £7m cash, plus Praet. Which makes £18m, gives you the best LB in the league, and gives me assets to play with.

Your call (and I'm still not sure I'd confirm that deal)...it's really difficult.

Willems wasn't available, but Pieters is returning from injury and is a good LB, in a straight swap.

I wanted Deulofeu to replace Jeffren who i'd sold to lawyers, but I got Douglas Costa instead.

Yeah, £13.5m isn't enough for the world's 2nd-best LB. The only LB you can get in this league better than Cole is Alba, and he's already taken...

£15m is the price, I could take £14m now and £1m later.

There's one I've been looking at, and in 12-18 month's time he could be better than Cole due to his age / level of football. But that's about 4-6 seasons away in this league...
