Being censored why?
I thought 606v2 was a democratic site, yesterday i defended a member here the post was locked.I commented on The Bok match and made a reference to a male chicken it was edited, this is not the first time.I refered to the name of an AllBlack prop whose name ends with a male chicken this has been edited in the past.Last night posted a short summary of the NZ match that appears to have been removed, this is beginning to look like censprship.IF you cannot use a common every day phrase in reference to game and it is deemed to have sexual connations all i can say is wash your minds out.

Re: Being censored why?
A post defending GG is off topic for a rugby union discussion forum, so not sure why you would question that one. Some words and phrases are automatically censored, ie urine (work it out).

nevertheless it strikes one as odd that this site censors words in common use yet is happy to discuss r***.

Guys, to be it to bed. I appreciate words of support when I get attacked by some members. But I am a big boy and fight my own battle. And you can just PM me with a supportive word if you feel very compelled and not jeapadising your own involvement!
A lot of times I have said something wrong in the heat of some emotion about some topic and get a short ban like everyone else to think about my contributions more and this is fair.
We shouldn't be offending each other in the name of banter and hiding behind a veil of "free speech" and "discussion".
Emack, your contributions on rugby are always first rate but don't let yourself get bogged down in fighting with the mods about me!! It's really not worth it.
The moderators are more than patient and always give me the warning (most of the time), and I am trying hard to keep my controversial views to myself!!
This was a great weekend of rugby and there is plenty to talk about, especially with the NH clubs getting into action again too.
So let's all be friends and keep it on topic.
As for auto-censoring. It probably shouldn't be confused with other issues and is just standard part of forumotion software.
Free expression versus "the right be offensive" is a seriously complex topic and my opinion is we shouldn't ask the kind few volunteers who help keep this sight a pleasant place to get involved in semantics and philosophical debate. They make judgements, and sometimes will make a mistake but mostly they do their best to be fair and reasonable and the selection of moderators is designed carefully to prevent any bias. 606v2 is a great place to discuss rugby, so let's all keep it that way!

AWOP to be honest you don't seem to me to have all that many issues with the mods.
If you ask me you are good banter and 90% of the time you create a good sense of banter. But like good old Richie McCaw you can go offside 10% of the time. Richie wouldn't have it any other way and I don't think you would either

Come off it Stag. Everybody knows that Richie is offside 100% of the time... It's only the international refereeing conspiracy that makes you say 10% right?
