Rabbo Weekend Roundup
Well after another round of Rabbo matches and heading into HC it was another great weekend of Rugby. Here's a few of my highlights.
Paddy Jackson (Blues vs Ulster) - Outstanding in my view, great kicking but even better handeling. For me this guy (at the minute) is streets ahead of his Irish counterparts Jonny & Co. Should be the next 10 for Ireland.
Ulster, Ospreys & Treviso - The packs really stood up. I know I harp on about the front 5 efforts but these 3 made the difference against their (talented counterparts). If Ulster keep playing like that we could be looking at next Rabbo Champs.
Dragons win over Edinburgh. As a Dragons fan I was nervous going into this one. In the end we won comfortably which made the weekend.
Overall League positions are looking very tightly packed outside of Zebre. Be interesting to see how it looks at the half way point.
What was your highlight from this weekends rugby?

Re: Rabbo Weekend Roundup
Good thread mate...
I was impressed by some of the Flyhalfs on show. Thought Steffan Jones, Dan Biggar, as you mentioned the very talented young Jackson all had very very good games.
Battle of the backrows interesting too. Though Warburton was on a havily losing side, he did not let the Blues down, he was one of the only good things about them. Their front five were shocking. Desperately need to sort that out in the next fortnight else they will be heavily embarrassed in Europe.
Ryan Jones was immense, the Ospreys front five wee text book and that was without first choice "hairbears" starting until the second half.
Peter Stringer looked good to me, compared to ROG.
