Countries for Reboot

Zidane - Italy
Russell - Germany
Treble - Germany
Marky - Spain
Nadeem - England
Olly - Italy
Hero - Spain
Gregers - Spain
Fernando - England
Sodhat - Italy
Twist - Germany
Viva - England
Afro - Italy
Bull - Germany
New Player - Spain
Tooze - England

Here’s how it basically works.
You have a budget of 100m to purchase a squad with the following stipulations:

1. You MUST have a minimum of 6 players from the country designated to you.
2. You MUST have a minimum of 3 players that were born on or after 1st October 1991.
3. You CANNOT go over the squad limit of 25.

To buy your squad then you must make sealed bids for the players. How this works is that you check the value of the players on TM, the MINIMUM cost is what their value is on there, but you can bid more than that as others may wish to buy that player. The maximum value of a player that you can bid for is £12m although may wish to bid more than that in order to acquire him.
So for example;
Bull places a sealed bid of 875k for Paul Scholes as that is the TM value.
Viva places a sealed bid of 1m for Scholes as he thinks others may be bidding for him.

Viva therefore wins.

ALL squads are PM’d to myself and a designated neutral party (to ensure fairplay I will send my squad list first so it cannot be said I’ve gazumped anyone). I then reveal who has got which player in the first draft.
We continue the process until everyone has then spent up and we move onto the Star Player bid which works under the same principle although you have a budget of 25m + whatever remained from your normal bids for ONE player who has a value up to 25m

Well we never agreed it was only one player, just that the maximum value you could go for was 25m and there was a 25m star player budget. Agree that it it's not on the rules page but still, we've never mentioned it.

It was agreed Mouse, plus it has said as much above for weeks now.

The rules page is actually nearly up to date. Given that someone always tries to find a loophole, it is being double double checked.

Looking at getting a phone contract. Does anyone know if I can just pay it outright immediately?

So if it was a £20 contract over 2 years, could I do
20 x 24 months = £480.

And just pay £480, get my mins/text/internet for two years and that's the end of it.

I don't really know, but I can't see any reason why they wouldn't let you do that. They are getting your money in their account for longer meaning they can earn more from it

I'm not sure but. I know people who have paid of the last couple months of thier contract off but didn't get the minutes an text. What network is the contract with? Best thing is to tweet to them.

They won't let you do it. Obviously £20 is the flat fee of your contract. Depending on the terms of it however (and what you get) you could spend over what it allows (internet, call time, texts, picture messages etc etc).

Therefore, they won't do it in that fashion because they may well lose out on additional fees from you over those 24 months

I was so happy when I saw my bid had just beaten yours. I hadn't expected you'd be in for him though, I thought he was an under-the-radar pick.

When I saw his TM price of 17.5 I thought a few people would be in for him, figured 10m ontop should be enough but NOOOO you pipped me to it.
Nah im not mad bro, its the way the cookie crumbles. I am gutted I didnt land Reus as he would of fit perfectly in behind Defoe.

I wanted Gotze originally, but he has moved just a bit above the limit. Reus is probably more useful to me anyway, he can play anywhere along the front line.

I am top heavy though. When trading opens I'll be willing to part with a forward or two to bolster the defence probably.

I'm not remotely offended, and while I don't think ANYONE should be, there are people on here that would report the name as offensive just to get a kick out of the trouble it causes you. So I'd change it too Sad

The duties are split between Hero, Afro, Twist (I think...) and myself.

Injuries and lawyers come weekly, on Mondays. Votes are collected by the runners and calculated to be posted Mondays too now, I believe.

Marky does releases, or he did last time.
A cup competition used to be run, but I don't know if we have it set for this season yet.
Nando collates the players sold to lawyers.

Think that's the lot

Reus anyday for me. Kroos isn't as inventive going forward, and despite playing with better players at Bayern, doesn't contribute enough offensively for my liking. I think Reus is going to be a big part of Germany's plans in the coming years, whereas I can see Kroos becoming a bit-part sub.

All opinion, of course.

Interesting because I would say Reus has faded this season now he isn't the big fish in the small pond, where Kroos has stepped up and along with Muller has been Bayern's best player. He dictates play from a deeper position, so is vital to Bayern IMO.

I agree that Reus will be a vital player going for Germany though. I do rate him very highly, just kroos more so

Best thing to do is to buy two cards: a formation change and a position change. That way you can make him the position you want, in your formation, and have a great player on your hands Very Happy

I got a rare Esteban Cambiasso (82), Aaron Lennon (80) and have picked up Luis Gustavo (81) too. Cambiasso is the dogs, what a fantastic player he is.

I bought a rare Llorente last night (83) for 3,000 coins - but that was paid for by some numpty who bid 3,000 instead of 300 on some 67-rated silver Saudi Arabian player I was selling Laugh

I'm slowly but surely getting my team up to scratch. But as I'm trying to win all the 'max team level = 3 stars' comps, I haven't yet put a dream team together...

Rare as in just shiny? As there isnt an In Form Llorente.
If by rare you mean shiny then im not too bothered. I first thought you mean In Form but there isnt an IF Cambiasso, Lennon or Gustavo thinking about it
