Bad news out of the Tigers' camp today, as it is revealed that Julian Salvi could be out for up to 5 weeks with a broken hand.

Given how few genuine opensides we have in our squad since Newby was forced to retire, this has left us a little short. Thorpe's stepping in this weekend, but is he a long term replacement?

He had a great season last year - with Robshaw missing some of the season due to 6Ns was perhaps the form openside of AP season.
