First topic message reminder :

Please add the following

Name of Player
Price
Link to Transfermarkt page

Ensure that the player has not already been purchased, if at a later date it is discovered the player is already in the league then you shall forfeit the player and half the cost.

It is first come first served.

Each individual TP must be done on it's own post i.e. multiple TPs cannot be done on a single post.

You can do a maximum of 2 TPs per week (Tuesday to Monday)

The TP limit will raise by £0.5m every two week. The current limit is £24.5m and it is next due to rise at end of season 2. .

The TP limits rise as follows:
Week 7 - £22m
Week 9 - £23m
Week 11 - £24m
Week 13 - £24.5m

End of season - £26.5m
Week 3 - £27.5m
Week 5 - £28m
Week 7 - £31m
Week 9 - £31.5m
Week 11 - £33.5m
Week 13 - £35m

I think England could stick with Ashley Cole for 2-3 years, then skip straight to Luke Shaw. He's amazing for a 17 year old, and by the time of the next WC, he'll be 20. What a talent.

That would suit Everton too as none of us really want Baines reproducing for England what he does for us.

Mind you Baines has played the last 4 or 5, so Cole has to win his place back first

Yeah, Cole was injured, then injured, then injured, then injured, then injured Wink

One of those 'injuries' was around the time of the choc-ice incident, so they kept him away to avoid causing a Cashley blowup.

I don't like Baines's hair anyway, it's better if he never plays for England again.

His price came down this week and with the constant criticism of my defence, I decided to put a world class keeper behind them to see if that makes a difference.

Also pleased with Arbeloa and £4.5m cash in, Abate out, especially with Nacho looking like moving to Zenit

Doesn't make Abate a worse player if he moved.

In my opinion he's in the top three RB's in world football. Wouldn't have paid 15m otherwise.

No it doesn't make him a worse player. He is a really good player but he just won't get the exposure and his rating will drop IMO. Same as happened with Criscito.

He will still be rated and I would not have sold him if the Real first choice RB hadn't been available.

He's worth more than 10m though, just been reduced on TM. It was a toss up between two players and I believe Dempsey was quoted at 30m by Marky a while back?

God knows! I just know that Spurs fans really haven't taken to him, and with Holtby coming in (he was very impressive in his little cameo tonight btw) unless Dempsey seriously ups his game I can see him benchwarming tbh

£30m to sell, because I didn't want to sell him. And at the time, Dempsey was scoring 20 odd goals in a season for Fulham, and all while playing out wide.
