I think what we all find with the budget restrictions is that we all have weaknesses and areas to improve. So what I decided to do was get a strong midfield and attack and build off that

Try and have a look for some videos of Verratti. I know he is my player and it is shameless promotion, but it is really worth a look. Some of his close control and passing is astonishing for a 19 year old

Seriously, google him. His game is like Pirlo, but he also has really good close control in tight situations.

Right now with his start for PSG I would sell Tevez before him

Dannie Bulman only knows success. That's why he left us in the conference, won the conference with Oxford, played one season in League 2 with them, then came home to Crawley and wins back to back promotions. Aged 33 he's in my first XI but the manager doesn't see it the same way Sad

Nicky Adams - Hope Akpan - Dannie Bulman - Sergio Torres should destroy League 1 but hey, I'm no football manager Rolling Eyes

I like your team Bull, similar to mine in that you've very much gone for a core unit of players from a certain team though personally I think you should have followed that through on the centreback pairing rather than go for the two Italians, could see those those two becoming quite isolated from the rest of the squad in RL.

In fairness to bull he did try for Hummels before Chiellini.

That is a really good side Bull, one of the strongest I have seen tbh. I also do not like Barzagli and Chiellini together. It needs someone who can put their foot on the ball and pass it. Chielllini is the closer of the two to that, but its not exactly his strength.

Kehl is a great midfielder, although with him, Xhaka and Strootman, you perhaps lack a little bit of flair centrally.

I would also play your FBS on the correct sides.

Nice team also. These teams are definately evenly matched.

The only thing I would worry about is whether Rolfes would be capable in that role if left isolated, because that could happen with Holtby and Draxler ahead of him.

I think it is fair to say that there is no stand out side (both good or poor), so it'll come down to tactics. It'll also come down to who you have to come in to cover your injuries.

Mine is

Bardi
Cassani-----Fazio---Botia----Maxwell
Gargano---Verratti
Mirallas----Maher/Totti-----Afellay
Tevez

Although, I am playing with formations, haven't decided between Totti or Maher supporting Tevez. Also considering Mirallas up front with Tevez and Usami coming in in a 4-4-2.

Scouting for a target man style striker if anyone is selling

Caceres - Cannavaro - Gallas - Fuchs

Diaby - Tymoshchuk - Scholes

Valbuena - Jovetic - Rosicky

What I've noticed playing these games is not many people rate the false 9. I used it in the Furious I think against Afro and it worked and he used it against someone else a week before or after and it didn't work. You'll get more no's against it then yes using the false 9 formula.

I want to ask something, do you really need a dedicated DM in these games? A lot of teams don't use a specialist DM in real life like United, Arsenal we have had Scholes and Carrick in CM at times and neither are known to be good in the tackle. I think I'd get marked down for not having a De Jong or a Makelele but I'm sure it can work without using one. Three CM who work as a unit with the deepest one at that time playing as the "DM" a lot of people see the DM having to be aggresive and sliding in with the tackles but if he can jockey the player slowing or stopping him getting forward blocking angles for him to pass forward that can work.

I have Spurs in the Realistic League, it's due to papers doing this sort of thing that's enabled me to be top of the league and looking likely to win it.
They link absolutely anyone to Spurs, I can type in pretty much any footballer and find some connection to push my claim.
