I was a bit surprised, given the choice of 26, when the first six answers to the alphabet question were all A.

Must be sub conscious as the question uses the letter A

Nando's a jammy fecker.

Last game of the season (on Fifa 13) and as we're drawing, he's going to win it on GD. So while overcommitting players forward to win it, he scores on the break.

No doubt he'll call me his bitch, but the reality is he's luckier than Jimmy Savile in an unsupervised childrens hospital.

Rooney just made it 3-0. But Carrick and Cleverley have been dull and uninventive, Oxo Cube has had what must be his worst ever game, Lennon should be playing for San Marino he's so carp, Welbeck has been dreadful, Walker has Heskey's boots on, and the only two decent performances have been Rooney and Baines.

Now Welbeck again, so undeserved based on his performance.

Pedro scored a hat trick last night and was pure quality. I hope those of you who think that he's the worst player to come from star players rethink that.

Jordi Alba also scored.

Also I can't say I'm Pedro's greatest fan, good player but carried somewhat by the quality of the rest of the team.

He weren't that good tbh. Didn't create a lot going forward, but showed flashes.

Best players were the two FB's Rose and Smith. Got forward really well, and defended soundly.

Olly, I can give you three media networks that raved about him on their sites. Well, not right now, am on my phone but I will do it later. Take a look at the BBC website with their feelings on the match and his performance.

I rate your football knowledge but you talking out ya ass there lol. He was a constant threat.

Navas
Muniain
Pedro

Pedro would be higher but should be out of the Barce side if Tello keeps progressing as he is. Plus Pedro has been off the boil since the World Cup 2010, hopefully he's coming back.

TwisT I was there watching the game, and for me he started off brilliantly, but Serbia got to grips with him, hence why he got subbed 2nd half. It don't affect how I rate him lol, still a great prospect, but for me last night he was alright. Was better when he played against us.

Tom Ince actually got MOM, I thought he was lively, but lacked the final ball. I've seen Craig Dawson get MOM a lot, pretty much because he scored. There was no real standout player, because quite frankly England were dross for most of the game

Pretty much my thoughts. I got Muniain over Navas due to the Bilbao feel to my side but was sorely tempted with Navas.

For me Navas is just that little bit better, but having said that Muniain probably fits in better in your side for the Bilbao link.

Munian = Navas > Pedro for me. Pedro is a good player, but the others are more influential. I saw some of that Spanish game and credit to him for his goals, but it is difficult to then pick out anything else.

No doubting he is a quality player though, you don't play for Barca and Spain if your not. Not going to say who I think was the worst SP pick, but one stands out to me.

Anyone see Kroos's goals last night

Anyone who said Pedro was the worst SP was obviously just winding up Trebs. He's probably second worst Wink

With all due respect to Tooze its Valdes. It was widely known that goalkeepers don't influence games, and Tooze could have very easily spent that money on an outfield player and got a cheaper goalkeeper instead. And his team, although it looks strong, would be stronger. Plus Valdes isn't exactly top drawer, although it won't really affect games anyway IMO.

It wasn't Valdes I as talking about. Although I wouldn't have gone for a keeper, I do rate Valdes highly. I just think one of them is living of a season and a half of good form from 3 years ago.
