Re: Injuries
You have some good players in CM actually, Nocerino and Yacob can cover well.
Obviously I decimated your two best players still.

Yeah I tried to build CM as my best area thankfully
Might be time to go for the old 5-4-1 and hoof it to Crouchie

Re: Injuries
I thought it was only players who played in the cup who could get injured? I wouldn't have played a weakened team otherwise?

Re: Injuries
One from the cup game, and then one from the rest o' the squad.
If there are mistakes, let me know, but Cleverly is the cup injury, the other is random.

Re: Injuries
That's a bit pointless if I'm honest, as chances are that would happen by random chance. Maximum squad size is 25, half of that is 12.5 which is only 1.5 more than 11. So I'd be better off playing a full strength line up anyway.
I'll take it, but the rules should be changed.

Re: Injuries
I liked the realistic league where you couldn't play any of the same starting XI. You then had to prioritize cup/league.

Re: Injuries
i favoured the 1 wk, 2 wk, 3 wk thing, because it was realistic, and it made less work...

Re: Injuries
There's a lot of rules that you think should be change to the same as the realistic league isn't there Trebs
It's the way it always has been in 3 seasons of the old league I thought.

Re: Injuries
Your probability calc is also flawed btw
In a 25 man squad, a player not in the team has a 1 in 24 chance of being injured taking out the player injured from the team whilst a player in the cup team has a 1 in 11 plus 1 in 24, whatever that is

I liked how the realistic league had a rule on cup & league teams that was anything but realistic.

Re: Injuries
If I didn't like the rules, I wouldn't have made them that way
So my rules in the realistic league are mostly what I think this league should adopt.
Player not in cup team has a 4% chance of getting injured
Player in cup team has 12% chance of getting injured
I think there should be two injuries from the cup as it's worth risking a strong side mathematically.

Re: Injuries
So you are three times more likely to get injured if you play. Sound realistic.
My preference would be for both injuries the week after to come from the cup side, but more than happy to stick with it as it is

Then people are just going to put out weak teams if both come from the cup

That's the point. Which do you prioritise. Rest your stars or not?
