I think your're right in that America will like him I.e. Giant white man!

I hear a lot of this talk that the US are desperate for a heavyweight star and they may just part-adopt Price as the next best thing.

There are a few names like Mitchell and Arreola which if Price was to beat would significantly raise his profile.

Everyone but Fury and his team want Price to fight him as this will raise his profile the most at this stage of his career.

Fury will keep ducking him, every boxing fan knows this but the problem is the casual Ch. 5 viewer thinks Fury is the real deal and unaware of his ducking.

Of course Fury is ducking Price. Why on earth would he offer Maloney £100k 12 months ago only for Maloney to turn it down. That offer was when Price could easily fight on any TV channel.

100K would have won the purse bids, so Price would have HAD to fight on Channel 5 regardless.

So why didn't Price accept it when initially offered the fight? Fury has fought Chisora who was considered a dangerous opponent. No sign of ducking there. My point is, no-one is ducking the other. If you want to know why many fights don't happen, look at TV companies. It reminds me of the time when HBO and Showtime were vying for the top. Many big fights hardly happened without protracted negotiations and some slipped by. It took Don King to get it sorted in many cases.

maloney called out tyson after the audley fight and offered him 500,000 for the fight...yet signed to fight skelton before tyson had time to respond. im confident price beats fury, but maloney isnt exactly a straight talker and i dont believe fury has ducked price at all.

Price not accepting the offer means diddly squat, it was going to purse bids anyway and APPARENTLY Fat Mick had 100K to spare so why not buy the rights, Maloney knew there was a chance Mick could have won the purse bid. They didn't run, they were happy to wait. Unlike Team Pikey who done a Bowe and ran for the hills.

Turning down purse bids means diddly squat when Price ran miles after being offered £100k. Maloney didn't want to see Price stretched out so Price told him he didn't want the fight.

Pikey is an offensive and bigoted term and surprised it's permitted here.

haha how didthey run, they turned down the offer and in about 5 minutes the rights were up for grabs. Either Maloney, Hennessy or WHOEVER else would have bid.

Im not sure Price would be all that big in the U.S. I dont really see the States getting too interested in the division again unless they start producing some champion material of their own. Price would be like a cross between Lennox Lewis and Wlad Klitschko, neither who were particularly popular over there. Fury might actually be a better bet with his stronger personality and Irish heritage.

This has given Az a license to categorically argue that Price has absolutely no chin whatsoever. I'd be more suspicious of Fury's chin than Price, he has been decked in the pro ranks and wobbled on a number of occasions where as Price hasn't. Understand he hasn't faced maybe the same level of competition as Fury just yet but I think until we such a time its not a concern.

Chinny isn't a word I'd use to describe him, he got hit by a whalebone of a shot and still stood. Wobbling doesn't make him chinny, Knockouts do. I haven't seen the man knocked out yet - so you can question his chin - but chinny is a completely outrageous term to use. Its like saying Harrison has serious power for knocking out Sprott in one punch.
