Has to be coins taken out the market to keep it somewhat stable I imagine
But wouldnt it discourage people to sell their more valuable players as 5% EA Tax on selling say Benzema at 80k coins means you lose 4k coins off the sale.

Not really, people would drive the value of the player by 5%.

Start with your name, address, and an image of yourself in a sexy pose. Guaranteed to win interviews.

I re-did my CV the other day. Stuff that really isn't very hard or impressive sounds great when written down. My downfall is my grades were perhaps not where they should be, so I leave them blank and just tell them I passed...

I wonder how all those United-supporting retards feel, having bigged up Carrick as being one of the world's best midfielders, how he should have been in the England team for years...and after his inept performance against San Marino, he has the worst game I've EVER seen from any England player in all my time (1988-now).

Hats off the worst decision Hodgson has made to date, bringing that useless plank back.

Cleverley is also clearly not cut out for this level yet.

Carrick wasn't great tonight, but neither was any England player. For me the only one to come out of that with any sort of credit was Glen Johnson. If Carrick was the one bad player who cost the team it'd be different, but Rooney, Cleverley, Cole, Hart, Defoe all didn't do enough.

Rooney scored. He's a striker, it's his job, he gets a pass. Lescott, Jagielka and Cole were all very poor. But Carrick was by far the worst player tonight, and I've never seen a performance that bad from an England player. Soooooooo bad.

Morning OK

Before the first game of the season, what are the thoughts on changing the scoring system on how results are calculated? Personally think it should be based on results rather than scores, and that the score should be worked out after the result.

Agreed Trebs. It wasn't fair that one team could get 7 wins voted for, the other 5, but it ends up as a draw based on the scoring method.

Best to make it:

Trebs = 7 wins
Olly = 5 wins
Draw = 2 draws

So Trebs wins, and do the score based on some other method.
Trebs win

In the realistic league, we do a how the votes were spread: i.e.

7-2-5.

We don't have a specific mathematic method, but it's up to the judgement of Me/Olly (league runners) to decide. You could quite easily devise a more precise measurement though.

Joe Hart made one mistake all night compared to the outfield players who made countless mistakes, it's just unfortunate that Hart's mistake directly lead to the equaliser.

And I see Trebs' point of view regarding scoring, but in the Realistic League it makes any GD a mockery as ultimately the runners can decide who wins by how much.

If David De Gea had made the mistake Hart made everyone would be slating him like theres no tomorrow.
Hart made a very silly mistake. Be it unfortunate or not, it did lead to the goal.
The team overall was poor, Milner & Carrick would be my picks for worst last night.

That's the very reason it shouldn't be done that way for me. That to me looks like a draw because there wasn't much in it. It is far too subjective. It also doesn't factor in that 7 people might have thought Treb's just scrapes a win, whilst 5 thought Olly stuffed him.

As long as people provide relevant explanation for their vote, I don't think the scoring method should change. At the moment, its clear cut and not reliant on someones opinion. It's that use of opinion (whether for results, or TPs that causes the most friction in these leagues)

The only subjectivity on the current system is in how people vote, and you have that risk in either method

United fans are very defensive. I would say Carrick was the worst, and then Jagielka and Milner.

Despite my bias, I just don't think Jags is cut out for the international game. He is just not consistent enough in those games and doesn't play like he does for us. Cahill has done more to deserve that spot IMO.
