That was our bad, we take for granted that everyone knows the rules, so sorry about that GSC and Azzy. Thanks for voting though.

I'm not doing it as a live text anymore, don't worry about it. I'm hungry and only three managers are there, which doesn't make it worthwhile so I've just posted it all up. Comment for fun if you want OK

I'm disgusted my United side conceded two to Norwich. We finished 5th by 1 point to Everton. Although it's Bull's fault we finished outside the Top 4, when I took over he led them to 6th and only GD above 7th!

Both teams named attacking line ups, every single prediction had both teams to score goals. Thing is, if you, pull, nando were in charge of United, Chelsea, Arsenal for the full season Hero might have had some serious competition.

I'm fully expecting to be reading a lot of feedback in the morning that resembles an Alan Hansen report on a Utd v Villa match from the start of the 95 season.

Not looking for excuses at all, more so that I'm aware of what others will use to give a loss though this season the reduced budget was meant to be more so about creating teams that would work well together and tactics to suit those players which is what I've gone for.

Full set of votes and reasons for the Fan League:

------------------------------------

AHAAAAAAAAAA Alan Partridge FC 0-0 Bunga Bunga FC
N/A - N/A
Tough match to pick a winner. AHAAAAAAAAAA Alan Partridge FC were set up well to defend could of done a bit more attacking. Crouch & Nolan worked well together, lot of promise from this partnership.

Bradistan Glue Sniffers 1-0 Under Brescia FC
Fellaini - N/A
Solid preformance form a well balanced Bradistan Glue Sniffers. Key battle being Fellaini & Fazio, the big Belgium was too much for Fazio.

Bratwurst Mannschaft 2-0 VFL Fassbender
Ben Arfa, Kießling - N/A
Kießling had the support required today unlike Petric. Bratwurst Mannschaft hard working midfield won them this game.

Deportivo la Chorizo 2-2 Total Juan Carrs FC

Fantastic game between these Spanish rivals, some real good talent on show here. Deportivo la Chorizo were overrun in the first half, Total Juan Carrs were all over them. Susaeta being the main threat in the first half. Game of two halfs as they say, Total Juan Carrs tired a bit and in the second half Deportivo clawed their way back in, they actually looked more likely to get a winner had they had Fergie time.

--------------------------------

Under Brescia v Bradistan Glue Sniffers - Two strong teams and both line up well, but I feel Brescia have too much in the middle of the park. Fellaini dropping back into midfield would have helped but he was solely as a second striker, which meant Gargano and Verratti were able to dictate the play. Tevez and Mirallas are a decent partnership, not sure Rodallega has it in him to be the main striker, good technically but not known for his goalscoring. Bradistan's defence is stronger though, and while Brescia can create more chances, the stronger defence of Bradistan limits Brescia to one, but Bradistan are able to hit back.
Under Brescia 1-1 Bradistan Glue Sniffers
(Tevez) (Fellaini)

VFL Fassbender v Bratwurst Mannschaft - Two strong teams on paper, both in the 4-5-1 system but I feel they essentially cancel each other out, Kehl, Strootman and Xhaka work well together against Schwegler, Cleverley and Trochowski, but I think Ben Arfa, Shaqiri and Kießling were able to get at the defence, Sorensen is a weak link and is at fault as Kießling goes through to score the opener. I don't feel Fassbender have enough to fight back, good team at 0-0 but nothing special when behind.
VFL Fassbender 0-1 Bratwurst Mannschaft
(Kießling)

Bunga Bunga FC v Alan Partridge FC - A good setup from Tooze, I think if both teams had their strongest side out Bunga Bunga would win, but they clearly missed Pirlo and Marchisio, and they don't have the depth to cope without them. Alan Partridge were able to create plenty of chances, while Pekhart was wasteful, Shelvey gave them the lead. Bunga Bunga changed to a 3-4-1-2 to try and get back into the game and Fletcher (who should have started ahead of Crouch) was the saviour. A fair draw.
Bunga Bunga FC 1-1 Alan Partridge FC
(Fletcher) (Shelvey)

Total Juan Carrs v Deportivo la Chorizo - Juan Carrs tried something different in an attempt to get off to a good start but the sturdiness and class of Chorizo showed through. The AM and Soldado upfront will be tough to beat but especially tough for an inexperienced defence. Tiote as an enforcer can only do so much as Michu is out of his depth playing deeper and is ineffective. Most entertaining game of the week, but not what Juan Carrs wanted as they crash to an opening day defeat.
Total Juan Carrs 1-3 Deportivo la Chorizo
(Muniain) (Soldado, Tello, Isco)

---------------------------------

Under Brescia 0-1 Glue Sniffers
GS are set up well defensively as a unit and should crack down on space, and I feel UB are a tad light at FB and are exposed by pace on the counter. Pretty even in midfield overall, but GS have the edge on the break.

Fassbender 0-2 Mannschaft
Bull is strong in places, but weak in others, and Trebs pre empted him a little in attack, as Petric looks to be a bit isolated. Offensively, Trebs has enough flair to open up Bull and Kiebling should profit.

Bunga Bunga 2-1 Alan Partridge
Tooze seems a little vulnerable to a bombardment, and Ollys team is physical enough to provide. Hibbert vs Bastos is a mismatch, but I didn't think Tooze really took advantage of it enough, and his attack doesn't really seem too strong.

Juan Carrs 2-3 Chorizo
Both teams have plenty of attacking talent, but Hero might have left himself a bit too open, while a little bit of extra quality from Gregs allows him to attack from a solid base

--------------------------------

Under Brescia 2-0 Bradistan Glue Sniffers
I think the attacking nature and high tempo game mean that Brescia dominate the two CB's. I can see Lucio and Ferdinand having problems with Tevez's workrate, even with a deep defensive line.

VFL Fassbender 1-1 Bratwurst Mannschaft
Very evenly matched game with chances a plenty. Goal a piece.

Bunga Bunga FC 1-0 AHAAAA Alan Partridge FC
I feel Tooze is missing something creative wise and although defensively they are sound, I am not sure if they have enough upfront, even if they can create chances. I think Bunga Bunga would score but I feel if AHAAA had a more upfront, then they would have struggled.

Total Juan Carrs 1-2 Deportivo La Chorizo
Interesting formation by Juan Carrs but I think it may just be too attacking. There is no doubt they would score but I can see the more structured formation of Chorizo comign out on top.

----------------------------------------

AHAAAAAAAAAA Alan Partridge 0-0 FC v Bunga Bunga FC
Most of the game both sides were equal to each other, Patridge defenders were able to deal with the long ball from Bunga and kept them out. Patridge were the stronger in midfield winning the ball and picking up the second ball but they lacked the sharpness or guile to open up the opposition.

Bradistan Glue Sniffers 0-1 Under Brescia FC
---------------------------------Mirallas
Not much in this game, Bradistan tactically were the better side but the players were not always good to execute the ideas by the manager. As the game progressed into the later stages the Bradistan CB struggled against the three man forward line of Brescia and thats when the goal game. I would like to see a new CB bought in by Bradistan.

Bratwurst Mannschaft 2-1 VFL Fassbender
Kießling-----------------------Xhaka
Westermann
Two very strong sides here, I think it was the wingers of Mannschaft that gave them the edge in this game. The midfield was equal both have possesion and oppurtunties to get the ball going. Mannschaft did their homework on their opponents and knew what they were up against. Fassbender are coming along nicely and will learn from this, it's all about picking up the experience.

Deportivo la Chorizo 1-1 Total Juan Carrs FC
Puyol------------------------Muniain
Good pressure from Carrs at the start which got them the early goal as the game went on Deportivo got themselves back in with a set piece. Soldado gave the CB the running with his off the ball movement. Deportivo were the then campable of keeping the ball and this high pressure energy game takes a lot out of a team, it's ok when you have the ball most of the time. At times the one touch Football and the movement off others worked for Carrs and did unsettle Deportivo.

-----------------------------

Under Brescia 2-1 Bradistan Glue Sniffers
Brescia shade it just about, with an attacking side. I can see them having a bit of trouble in the middle with a couple of beasts getting about Verratti, but there is quality on the wings and up front to create. Good pick in sending Fazio to get on Fellaini too, and there isn’t much coming from deep from Bradistan to supplement it.

VFL Fassbender 1-2 Bratwurst Mannschaft
Close game with identical set ups. Bull could have sent the full backs forward to offer more in attack, and ultimately Trebs more adventurous outlook opens up more attacking possibilities. Good balance to both sides.

Bunga Bunga FC 3-1 AHAAAA Alan Partridge FC
I like Bunga Bunga’s plan B in the absence of their playmakers, and it makes a lot of sense as a system to utilise what they have. I can see them flourishing and winning a probably fairly ugly match. Tooze’s change in style is welcome, but I can still see them struggling with the final ball at the last moment. There is some talent in there, the system needs to be tailored to it.

Total Juan Carrs 2-3 Deportivo La Chorizo
Deportivo have a solid defensive base, and some real talent offensively. Juan Carrs kept it close because of their youthful exuberance and the sheer attacking mindedness. But looking at both sides I have to lean towards Deportivo unlocking Juan Carrs once too often.

Hero is not here today and Afro seems to be busy

I will do the lawyers at lunch. Marky, as you are a responsible chap and I trust you, would you want to do injuries for the Fan League? Doesn't have to be permanent, just for the week to lighten the load.
