He is getting old now, so would probably want to test himself in a big league. And he would probably get more cash at 'pool

Re: Euro Division Homepage XXXV
I always rated Eriksen highly to be fair, he's a quality player and I expect him to get a move to a big club soon. If Bull didn't put a ridiculous price on his head, I'd have bought him in the old league. but if the opportunity arises, I'd sign him on here.

Goal and an assist for Afellay.
Also good to see Farfan roasting Santos time and again. In Furious League I used to get accused of overhyping Farfan and his pace, but I feel vindicated

I mean for his pace. I used to claim him as the fastest player in the league and I was told he wasn't as fast as I was making out

Given I have 500k, Zouma and Lambert you can let me know bull.
Haha indeed mate, I'm looking to offload the dutch and the German too eventually to have a solely Mediterranean feel to my side.
(the young German I bought yesterday shows how well this is going)
Suso or Callejon, thoughts on them playing lw?

I know we have just started but without win/draw bonuses is really hard to generate cash when people don't have any themselves.

The CL this season has had some bizarre results, not really any team that's looking the form team (Dortmund perhaps, but they're not looking as strong domestically)

I think this will start to bite home now, that's why I advocated the injury thing to kick start transfers as I do think transfers without cash & incentive (as people bought squads they wanted rather than pooled) will quickly become boring.

Re: Euro Division Homepage XXXV
Back in the day, every team was given either £500k or £1m each week as a 'taking part' bonus - ie, "voting and tactics is the vital part, but here's a bit of cash just to say thanks for being part of the group".Hero wrote:TwisT wrote:I know we have just started but without win/draw bonuses is really hard to generate cash when people don't have any themselves.

We could introduce that maybe? As we agreed the win/draw bonus only makes the gap between the best teams and the rest of the pack even larger...

To be honest I am using my SP as bait now. Only way I can get players in.

Twist, I think I messed up by taking the lure of having 2 SP's and I now have no cash & owe £8m.

Re: Euro Division Homepage XXXV
In one season, you're guaranteed £7m if you do your league voting and tactics, and £3m minimum from the cup. So each season you should get at least £10m.
But that's one squad player, and the money almost always leaves the league through TPs, as managers ask the earth for their players.
I think the problem is that people don't want to sell the players they drafted unless they frack the other manager in the deal - but no-one is stupid, so no-one wants to be fracked, as they can get much cheaper (and sometimes better) players through TPs.
I have to say as well, that Zebra owing whoever £8m should not have been allowed, as he's unlikely to be able to pay that money back even by the end of the season.
So, options are:
1. General weekly bonus (fair to all)
2. Win/draw/loss bonus (not really fair)
3. Media response bonus (fair to all)
4. More Lawyer offers
Any more?

I think 3m for win and 1m for draw should have been kept.

And that's...a good thing *cheesy smile*TwisT wrote:But there ARE no bigger teams this way.
We want a more level playing field, but we need some moolah. I think a general weekly bonus of £500k (meaning if you forget to do voting or tactics, you get something), and maybe another £500k for media answers, would give us all some working collateral. Thoughts?
