I have both and never really play them. Prefer the PS3 just because it looks better. Black ops was really good as well.
Quite like the look of that LA noir game that was out. I am a sucker for gadgets and technology and buy anything when it comes out and then barely use it.

He got two caps in 2009 when all their other locks were injured. Hopefully a decent signing but I shall reserve judgement until I've seen him a few times.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Driver my budge was at £61m prior to the Heinken Cup Final - so whatever I get for finishing second there is what my budget is mate!
Also I'm working from home this afternoon so will be able to do some deals then.
Looks like Wasps are making some cracking signings, so pleased with the Wentzel one, at last we have a friggin lineout - can see us pushing for top 4 now, as we don't really lose anyone to the world cup - can't see Shaw going, and Flutey and Simpson are the other ones who could go.
Looks like we will have some more signings soon too - can see Sackey coming back, and Cipriani is being touted as our fullback again. Interesting signings there

I reckon today could finally be the day that some deals are done!!
pete I'm about too let me know if your interested in anyone.
Chris I dont think you will be able to challenge the top 4, think tigers, sarries, saints, bath will take some shifting. irish, glos, wasps, quins challenging for 5/6. I'm becoming less confident about the fourie deal for Irish.

Morning Bathite
I don't know who's on the ERL but we have some good guys on here who have kept the game going since late 2008, and all want to win next season so there is loads of activity right now whilst people sort out their squads.

usually it is the opposite, but we are at the point in thsi games where deals are flying around and the ERL is at the point where sides are getting settled so deals are less frequent

Main reason I would say is the season has just finished, and this is a realsitic game as apposed to a fanatsy game, so transfer acticity is much higher than it was a month or two ago.

Maybe someone like Luke or Steven could summarise the difference + pro's/cons?

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
The main difference is this is realistic, whereas Pull's is fantasy. Main aim of Pull's is to get as many of the best players in the world into one team - on here you have to have 10 english players in your squad, it is more based on form, and you have to consider bedding players in, fatigue etc.
Both are fun leagues mate, just very different

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
That definitely does not trump me. the less sweaties the better.
For me if all on form blair is their best by a distance. form wise lawson has been cracking all year.
That tackle of the year he did against Sarries he has been doing all year. Not seen anyone defend as well as scrum half since George Gregan and that is a very high compliment. great service as well.
Depends how they want to play the game. If they want a huge pack and to play like that then a sniping scrum half like cussiter is the way to go.
If they want to play a bit of rugby and tempo then you go for blair or LAwson. Cussiters service is quite slow and not very accurate. always struggled with his pass

I dont really rate Cusiter, havent seen him play that well for a long time, probably still better than Blair though.

Good call driver.
Blair before his injuries was favourite to captain the Lions and then went down like a stone.
his brother was a talented lad also. apparently given up the game to become a teacher

Think Cus service is tops, he lacks the form but has the calibre. I prefer Lawson to Blair.

According to a mix of Steve Hanley, Mick Hogan (CEO of Sale) and a very knowledgeable Sale fans seem to think that Sale have just secured a great signing (possibly Hendrie Fourie) and Dimes is flying to France to secure another signing which people appear to think will be Gavin Henson although I am not convinced.

could well be Fourie, Leeds are being stubborn with Irish.
Henson is a liability.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Henson is a liability. Don't see what Sale could do to make him any more committed to the game than the WRU, Ospreys, Saracens or Toulon could have done.
Who do we think has done the best deals so far in the AP. I reckon its close between Bath, Leicester and Saints.
Bath have Louw, Hipkiss, Fearns, Attwood and Eastmond whereas Leicester have Brookes (phenominal player. So physical), Tait and Young. Saints have Cato, Lamb, Roberts, Pisi and PDJ.
I reckon Saints have just about signed the best set of players.
Interestingly, are we surprised that PDJ has moved to Saints where he will likely be behind Mujati in the pecking order. Seems an odd choice for his England aspirations.

Bath for me
Then Saints
Then Sarries
Sorry matt but Glos have done the worst so far, losing PDJ, azam, attwood, robinson.
irish have done ok think couple more back row signings and I'd be happy.
