I always get up on a Saturday anyway as we head off to Rugby Tots, but today, when the pregnant wife plays the "I haven't slept well" trump card, its a difficult card to successfully counter.

Just as well that I was about ready to get up, do a bit of work and watch MotD.

We just go with the "DVD on, daughter inbetween us while we sleep" plan, usually gives an extra hour at weekends.

That is the normal plan to be fair. Actually just ordered a new super Kingsize bed for that very reason!!

Truth is, I was getting up anyway, so took the opportunity to see to my son, and in return they will be going out during the Everton-Liverpool game.

i thought they played better in the second half viva mate tbh with you , we where good but i felt they played better.

That's right up there with the very worst refereeing performances of all-time. The red card, the 3rd United goal, and about 50 'fouls' throughout the game given to united that were NOT fouls at all. I was screaming at the ref pretty much every 30 seconds.

Watched Catania-Juventus earlier. Juve weren't great, but Bendtner was worse - truly AWFUL. He had the pace of Roy Hodgson (now), the touch of Heskey, the vision of Nigel Winterburn, and the movement of Nelson's Column. Shocking.
