Hey lads!

Just want to apologise as I dont think I will be able to vote this week. I have had a laptop disaster in that it seems to have lost the ability to charge itself, meaning it is dead until it miraculously gets better. Sorry but I wont add the 1m either so alls good

Wait Russ, we all had to wait until the green light was given last week by Afro & co.

Still seething over the United game. Young dived (who can blame him), Torres was hacked down, Hernandez offside, plus every single decision in the game against Chelsea. They really deserved to smash United, but the referee cost them the game. Simple as.

Mind you, that's nothing compared to the Albion. Newcastle screwed us royally today Sad

Laugh Laugh Laugh Joes Azzymat, you actually sound like a bitter old man chelsea fan.

Give it a rest. Even before yesterdays game everyone knew Mark Battenburg is a poop ref.
Young was through on goal, got clipped and rightfully was denyed a chance on goal.
Torres wasnt hacked down. there was slight contact, he went down like he'd been shot. He made it look worst than it was. The ref however got the decision wrong.
Hernandez offside, he was yes. Suarez was onside. These things happen.

Sadly the game is now all about the Ref and not about Manchester Uniteds blistering counter attack or Mata's sublime free kick & the football on show from the two top teams in England.

Also, why did Chelsea deserve to smash United?

While the game wasn't as clear cut as Chelsea in control, there's no doubt poor reffing made the difference for United

GSC, Im not going to deny poor reffing didnt change the game.
Was I see it tho, after we were 2 up, the really put the pressure on us. We defended well in the first half, a silly tackle from Rooney gave away the free kick which Mata struck brilliantly. 2nd half we seemed ok, then Chelsea stepped it up again and started dominating the match. Our counter attack was always threatening tho. So it did look like Chelsea would score again but with our counter we could always nick another one.
In fairness, It was our counter attack which led to a goal scoring opportunity being denied.

Morning

Where is the debate on Artetas offside goal? Why is it always when United get a decision in their favour everyone starts a debate.

United got the luck this time next time it'll be Chelsea, everyone forgets the amount of luck they got in previous games against United.

Torres is a bottler, Sir Alex was right he didn't have the balls to run forward with the ball because he knew that he would miss anyway.

I hate all teams, Chelsea included. What I hate more is that United ALWAYS get the rub of the green in these big games, which are the games that decide where the championship ends up. It's disappointing.

Young was barely touched but he went down like Sarah Michelle Gellar had just opened her legs. Torres was studded on his shin, clear as day foul, must have hurt, a dangerous tackle, and that changed the game. Three bad offside decisions this weekend, but Hernandez's one was the worst, as it was in the biggest game, and had the most on the line for everyone involved.

Not to mention these allegations of racial abuse at John Obi Mikel, what a disgrace.

And the reason we all talk about United's luck is because there are no Arsenal fans here, no Liverpool fans here, just pretentious United glory hunters lapping up yet another gift-wrapped three points Whistle

Have any of you wondered what makes Javier Hernandes so good? His dribbling ability is atrocious. His passing is below average. The only good ability i see is his ability to beat the offside trap and his positioning when in the penalty area. His heading is not bad aswell.

His movement, positioning which gives him the knack of being in the right place at the right time. Tough to mark him too. Off the ball runs. For a small lad he has a cracking header.

Hernandez's biggest strength is his movement.

If you watch him, he is able to make a couple of runs/movements that loses the defenders. That's why he often finds so much space for himself. You have to focus solely on him to actually see what he does so well as it's pretty subtle.

Michael Owen was exactly the same. Always in the right place, good with his head, clever runs, tough to pick up. I should think that Chicharito learned a lot from Owen during his time there.

i despite the game with a passion but i normally end up getting it cause all my friends get it, but i do hate it alot.

again i prefer games with storylines then multiplayer.

I won't be buying Black Ops, with FIFA in the house I won't have time to play both. Not to mention AC3, which I'm getting for Christmas (as I'm trying to polish off the original Assassin's Creed).

Before we start week 3, can we get a consensus feeling on what we are going to do about bonuses.

The two options appear to be:
1) Keep it the same as it is (£1m for submitting tactics and votes (with reasons) on time)
2) Change it to £1m each week for everyone (a kind of taking part bonus) and £1.5m for submitting tactics and votes (with reasons) on time.

https://www.606v2.com/t36607-change-to-cash-bonuses#1641011

If anything changes, it will be starting in week 3, so you would still only get the max of £1m this week.

Defo see your point. multiplayer is just tweeks to gameplay, few new bits added like killstreak rewards etc. Nothing ground breakingly revolutional. The Black Ops story is a good one. As you said too, everyone gets it. Ill probably be on Zombies mostly, then MP, then the story.

Ive never played an AC game. First one just didnt take to me. Maybe I didnt give it a proper chance. Ive always been a huge Zelda/Final Fantasy fanboy but with FF becoming linear Fallout quickly won me over.

Afro, I like option 2.

yeah the first one i got with my ps3 for free did not open it and went to trade it in at Game who offered me £1 when they where selling a preowned copy for £20! picard

so came my birthday a few months later and well i was told to pick a game i wanted with my anut and the only decent game there was, was ACII to so i went well i guess this is the only thing i can get, so got home and started playing the first and felt its not to bad and was so happy to have not traded it in, but like you said the second is much better and imo is the best in the series at this moment.

Brotherhood and Revelations are good but there nothing but just Part 2 and 3 of the Ezio trilogy with Desmond being involved in some important parts.

Ac2 is one of the best games ever made, acb was sensational as it built on it. Acr whilst also superb was the weakest of the three but had an awesome ending.

Ac3 will be game of the year.

As I'm home ill I need some transfers to cheer me up, any non Spanish/Portuguese are available. The French and the Italians I'd prefer not to sell.

The Dutch, Germans and English can go
