First topic message reminder :

Anyone else planning to buy this game?

I got mine 20 minutes ago and it's awesome the attitude era mode is incredible so far

Much improved from last year's game

Even playing after wwe12 before this it still takes some getting use to, you playing attitude era yet?

Can you see yourself still playing it months down the line or is it the type of game where you place each mode once and then get bored of it and leave it on the shelf?

Still umming and ahhing to pay the 40 quid now or wait until it comes down in price or see if Santa will get it for me.

No I want to have some of the basics down first (first wwe game since n64!), I'm clearly missing something as i am constantly the victim of hurricanranas, ddts etc! pity there is no interactive tutorial as just reading moves is a bit difficult.

Attitude era is quality but I can't beat the bulldog lol

I gave up trying to make The Bulldog submit so just pinned him.

I havent properly played a WWE game since Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth! I played the schmeckus out of that, made like 9 CaW's and put them into stables and feuds and all that crap, it was awesome.

Im probably gonna wait till this drops in price, I've got too many game commiments atm.

Yea he is stupidly strong, had him on red and he managed to get out of it!

I found with Bulldog, just attack the legs from the bell. Its the only way to get the job done. It took a few goes, because eventually he'll get off a second powerslam, but go vintage Ric Flair and you'll get there.

Trying to get some of the Historical Objectives is difficult especially some of the mroe specific ones when facing beasts like Kane.

Aye I don't want to get bogged down but I am a sucker for trying to get every collectible. Often to my detriment as I give up on loads of games now I've commitments in life!

Hell in a cell, undertaker just caught my drop kick and choked slammed me to hell.

Those catch finishers are pretty cool aren't they, had great joy rkoing jericho after he tried a move off the top rope.

Busting the ring up with Henry and Show is good fun on legendary epic matches. Found a slight glitch if you have school boy roll up 2, so long as you reverse the counter pin attempt they never kick out. Tad annoying even on legendary.

Sounds like you are beyond my level! I'm still losing in easy, great fun though!

How's playing with your CAW online? That's been my favouriate thing to do in the last few games

Bought it today ... i'm impressed just because the godfather has got ho's ....

There's one big downside to this game that I've noticed playing through attitude mode

It's made me realise just how poor the WWE product is these days

I've been playing legendary on these games for years now, with the reversal rate cranked up. Bit sad really.

I love the video packages in attitude era mode, really well put together, that Mankind one really reminds me of how things were back then. Never really been one for CAWs myself, seeing as when I used to make them, the look moveset and entrance had to be spot on perfect and I ended up rarely playing with them. Will probably do a few downloads with the expansion packs, if I haven't got bored of the game by then, and returned to playing FIFA or that new Black Ops.

Anyone fancy a few online games?

Just had my first proper story development in Universe Mode.

I've been playing as my custom character Caboose V - "The Supreme Indian" (Heel) and get into a mini feud with The Rock.

I don't edit the matches just treat it like a career mode (already US champion). Anyway out of nowhere the game books me in a tag match partnering John Cena against Cobro (Santino & Ryder). There's a cut scene suggesting dissension between me and Cena before the match and during the match while I'm tagged in as Cena, the game has Caboose V walk out on the match. I end up getting disqualified as Cena after blasting Santino with a chair.

The following week Caboose V is booked on RAW against Ryder. I win as Caboose V and then go to attack Ryder after the match with a chair, well Cena runs down to make the save... but ends up blasting Ryder himself. I check the roster the following week and sure enough Cena is set to be booed and Caboose V and Cena are now a Tag Team.

I named them "The Awesome Ones".

Even WWE'13 the game knows Cena should turn! haha

Don do you have every wrestler active on wwe universe including raw is war because i keep playing it then resetting it and have no branch stories, only the basic cut scenes that mean nothing. I have read other forums who have had the same problems.

I've really enjoyed this game. Currently on the "Off The Script" section of the Attitude Era mode.

I really only caught parts of the Attitude Era growing up, so this game quite gladly filled in the gaps that I missed growing up

Ah I'm on Xbox Live. Oh well. I haven't actually ventured online yet. While I've been playing legendary and have got the hang of Reversals, the chain grappling sytem is still giving me grief (end up hitting the same moves over and over).

I personally have not had the branching storyline cutscenes where I get to choose the next part yet. When Caboose V walked out on Cena I was controlling Cena in the tag match. Still having fun but it is a bit annoying that nothing more is coming from it. I'm a 3-time US Champion and have held the Tag Titles with Cena now for 6 months (part way through second year).

I origianlly let the CPU run the rosters, but after Wrestlemania at the end of year 1, I ditched all the jobbers from both rosters and chucked in all the RAW is War and WWE Legend guys. Mainly to get a better tag division (Edge & Christian '99, Outlaws, LOD, dX) and US title challengers (I was sick of defending against Otunga and Swagger, now defending against Bulldog, Shamrock etc).

Rather annoyingly my custom guy, Caboose V is the 2nd in line for a WWE Title shot and has been for 4 months but I never get a No.1 Contenders match. I think this may be the case because I'm still holding the US title.

I added the NXTus trio, Heyman and Ryback last night, going to get something going with them over the next few shows hopefully.

Caw or are they available for purchase?

If people want more storylines in universe, chuck in a load of attitude era stars, or make a raw is war roster and show. Loads tends to happen then. Every match.

That's the a great part of the game the download area can get many random people ranging from Hogan to Jun Kasai to Kevin Steen

PS Ent if your fed up of people with CAW's on 100 why not turn created superstars off?

Is anyone else on the PS3 having the same problem when it comes to online rankings? I play a few matches, rank up, then when I next log on, my rank has been reset!

How do they expect people to get the online trophies if their online sucks? I'm pretty good online with an equal win loss record on WWE12, but waiting for them to fix this issue before playing online for WWE13.

The games always been poor online, anyone else had the game freeze when a caw enters the rumble? Keeps happening, had to have The Rock win instead of myself in end. Rumble matches on legendary and epic go on for about an hour.

When they release DLCs do they update the roster to match what it is in RL?
Already it seems quite dated without Ryback and the 'Shield' guys.

Their update the rosters but the shield guys won't be on it tbh

Don't know if my issue similar to what you've had but I've been on the Universe mode and nearly every week I've fought using Ambrose and every week I win, beaten the likes of Kane, Miz, I've interfered and cost Undertaker and Rock matches yet I'm still ranked 24th on the title list and am not moving at all.

Try starting a storyline with the champion? i don't usually play Universe mode tbh

Anybody have any idea when AJ Lee, Ryback and Layla are going to be released as DLC? I'm suprised they left Layla out considering she was on the last game! And Kharma is a beast in my universe mode...she's now held the divas title for 3 years straight!
