Team Talk: It's the 1st of the cup games today dependent on how well we do is how seriously we're take it after last years Joke runner debacle. The opposition are a very good side think we can get at them with pace
Weidenfeller: I want you to come collect crosses and watch for balls in behind so come clear them, With ball in hand release to wingers
Yanga Mbiwa: Your playing the right side of the back 3 so i want you watch for their left winger expecting Bastos to start so make sure he doesn't get his crosses in. Stay in line with the other 2, Use your pace to cover Amorebieta if their forward gets in
Amorebieta: I want you to use your physical presence and stick on Holt don't let him bully you, If he backs in come round the front and let him fall over, If the ball is in the air make sure you get there 1st , If he pulls off you let him go but watch for the knockdowns in your area
Berezutski: Your playing left side of the back 3 , I want to watch for Bennett, Redmond will track back and help you double team him stop the crosses.
Ince: I want you to take on the LB with your trickery , Your mainly left footed so cut inside and look to link with Cazorla and the front pairing, Remember to track back and double team the winger
Chamberlain: Your playing in the middle today i want you to inject energy throughout the side, Chase people down make things happen looks for passes forward and make runs into the box
Montolivo: Sit deep and dictate the play , Look for passes into midfield or out wide to set up attacks, Remember to track the AM if they have the ball don't let him out your sight.
Redmond: Your pure pace so get the at the full back take him on whenever on the ball and whip those crosses in, don't be afraid to cut inside and have a go at goal, remember to track back to help with their winger
Cazorla: All i want is for you to sit in the gap between defence and midfield, You have a free role drift where you like Santi weather outwide or in the middle, Look to play the forwards in at goal if they back off have a go yourself
Milito: I want you to sit on the last man and make runs in behind turn the centre backs and make sure you get on the end of crosses from outwide , Occasional make the diagonal run in behind to confuse the defenders
Di Natale: I want you to drift about go wide and cut inside from the left making runs in between the full back and centre back, don't be afraid just to use your timing to get in behind, So watch for Santi's passing make runs that give you space to control and finish

Team Talk- First Game of the cup today, a few changes but we are still playing a very strong team, I take the cup strongly as should each of you this is a great chance to win some silverware as not all the teams will take it as strong as we are. You are a great team of players and last week you proved that against one of the strongest teams in our league with a narrow lose, so lets go out there and do the same again this week and ruffle a few feathers with a win.
Defensive Tactics
Goalkeeper
- Keep your self big
- Make yourself heard
- use your agility to make saves
Defenders
- Keep a line and talk to eachother at all times
- Maduro must try to drop back to help the back four
- Track players who could pose a threat on goal.
- When in doubt get the ball out of play and as far up the pitch as possible.
- Stop them getting down our wings and dont allow them the space, this means those out on the wing will have to track back at times
- help each other out as much as possible and dont do anything stupid to put us in danger
- I want us to keep as tight to there players as possible when they are attacking us and stop them passing the ball around
Attacking Tactics
- Pass the ball around as much as possible and cut through there defence and midfield.
- Play down the wings, using pace
- If a player is in a better position to get a shot away allow them too.
- Pick up any loose passes and make them pay for it.
- aim to get the ball to the feet of holt as this is where he is most dangerous, he can also cause trouble with ariel balls so this isnt nesciarily a must, but should be an aim. this also allows him to hold the ball up and lets Kane make moves to dangerous positions
- Also can pass ball to shelvey to set up attacks
- keep up the pressure when we have possesion and dont give it away cheaply

FC No Respek tactics:
GK - Butland - this is a great chance for you to make a name for yourself Jack. You've played for England and played at the Olympics, so this should hold no worries for you. Communicate with your defence, let your teammates know if you can claim the ball or if there is danger lurking around. Let Hangeland know where Fellaini is, as he is their dangerman. Parry shots away from danger, try to catch ball but punch to distance if you need to.
CBs - work as a unit today, tell each other where Rodallega and Fellaini are.
Hangeland - you MUST pick up Fellaini when the ball is crossed in, always be aware of where he is and ensure that you get to the ball first. You're bigger than he is, so get close to him and rise above him. Beware of Cole's forward runs and don't let their RW cross the ball.
Coloccini - you will pick up Rodallega. Don't dive in, keep him away from goal, if he gets the ball at his feet just shepherd him until Hangeland or Vrsaljko can come across to tackle him.
Vrsaljko - you have to cover on the right if Wisdom is doubled-up by Gibbs and Barnetta. Otherwise, cover for your partners, making sure that Rodallega is easily handled by Coloccini.
RWB - Wisdom - you've had a great start to the season, let's keep it going! I want you to keep it simple, don't get excited, just play simple balls to the midfield and keep it tight on the right. Keep Barnetta close and don't let him drift inside. Vrsaljko will help cover the right side if you're doubled-up by Gibbs and Barnetta.
LWB - Cole - this is a big game for you. I want you to maraud down the left, exploit the RB with Villa and Giggs, and use your smarts to overlap and get balls into Cassano. You have the stamina to get back and defend, so it's up to you and Giggs to cover the left side. Hangeland has your back.
CM
Soriano - your job is to sit back and man-mark Fellaini, keep him from peeling off you and if he does, let Hangeland know so he can pick him up. He may be bigger than you, but you've got the stamina and courage to run with him and get stuck in. Put him off his game, he doesn't like getting physical. Try and get him riled up, because he's easily put off his game.
Parker - you made your name as a box-to-box midfielder, it's time for you to show us why again. Support Wisdom on the right, keep it simple with the passing, and get forward whenever possible.
Giggs - our new signing, we have great faith in your vision. Play Cole in down the left, and find Villa in space. Cassano will be making runs ahead of you - try to play him in.
Free role - Villa - rather than restrict you to a set position, I want to unleash you. Play wherever you like behind Cassano - central, wide right or wide left - and get into space for Parker, Giggs, Wisdom and Cole to bring you into the game. Run at defenders, they hate it, look to bring Parker, Cole and Cassano into the play, and when you get a chance, shoot! You've got a great shot from 25 yards. let fly when you have the space.
ST - Cassano - you've played well this season, let's keep it going. Rio and Lucio will look to sit deep - you should drop short, link up with Villa, and make late bursts into the box to get on the end of balls played in. Parker and Giggs will be looking for you too - make sure you use your pace to get past the two CBs, who won't be able to cope with your movement and your dropping off them.
Expected Bradistan line-up:
With this being the Cup, Bradistan have to play three U21s. Ayew is overage by three weeks, so I expect Ross Barkley and Juan Iturbe to come into the side as the only two U21s. The key to success will be effectively dealing with Fellaini and the two wingers, Iturbe and Barnetta. We definitely have the personnel to deal with them.

Predicted Bradistan tactics:
Bradistan’s natural game is to play on the counter attack, with Given and the full-backs looking to spring the wingers on the break. Gibbs and Kelly will look to support their wingers, and the whole team will look to cross to Fellaini and Rodallega. Rio and Lucio will both defend deep, with Diame helping them. Barkley will be told to play his natural playmaking game. Fellaini, rather predictably, will be told to win headers, and Rodallega to use his pace against my defence.
FC No Respek subs:
If winning after 75mins: Sigurdsson on, Cassano off. Sigurdsson will play off Villa and look to use his vision to play Villa in through the middle and Cole in down the left.
If drawing after 75mins: Sigurdsson on, Soriano off. Parker to play the holding role, Sigurdsson to play short balls and bring team-mates into the game down both flanks.
If losing after 75mins: Sigurdsson and Donovan on, Hangeland and Soriano off. Play 4-4-1-1, Donovan on the right and Sigurdsson on the left, Parker and Giggs to hold back. Triple up on the Bradistan RB with Cole, Sigurdsson and Villa and get crosses into the box for Donovan and Cassano.

Attacking Tactics:
* Bruma & Bertrand alternate your runs, look to overlap the wingers, just remember I want to see you get back if we’re caught out! No excuses.
* Gundogan & Bernard, I want you to boss the midfield, win the ball and get it forward and to our attackers feet.
* Torres, look to support our wingers, give them an extra option. Use your youth and energy to make runs at their defence.

New manager Viva taking over the reigns, the players know me I've been around a long time, I have a great partnership with Huntelaar at Viva City. We will look to use width a lot to attack and the middle to keep it simple. I am yet to pick my starting XI so everyone has a fresh chance with me so play to your best if you want to be constanst starters under me
KEEPER
Always communicate with defenders let them know of danger around them, look to release ball quickly to wing backs to start a counter. Any shots you can't hold onto tip away from danger push it wide. Hold your ground make yourself look as big as possible.
DEFENDERS
Three centre backs, Tasci will look to pick up thier main striker follow his runs, closing down the gap for him to shoot or move. I want one of the other CB to pick up the runs from the AM/SS look to intercept through balls by him, get in the way of his passing range.
MIDFIELDERS
Adriano and Rose will play as wing backs giving us the width when we are defending and also to take the ball forward, they have a lot of pace and stamina with good reading to play the role. Look to stretch opposition with raking runs forward pinning the wingers back.
Frings and Gentner will play as a unit, when one pushes up the other will drop back. Track your runners, when the opposition are deeper put them under pressure and harras them when they come into our third jockey and look to shepard them out. Nothing fancy with passes look for wide men to release.
FORWARD
Sterling and Draxler will play either side of Vellios, Sterling will look to use the width more, look to run at your man and get crosses in. Draxler has more license to come inside linking up with play and making runs off Huntelaar who can knock them on. Both will look to get service in for Vellios. I want Vellios to stay central, always on the move keeping the cebtre backs guessing, make runs of them, use your movement and off the ball runs to get into goal scoring positions. Get infront of your man. The three of you don't have much defending to do so make the attacks count.

TACTICS
We went out beat VFL, let's do it again! We're experimenting a little this week. Westermann will play an an auxillary defender and the wing backs should drive forward to provide us with plenty of width. Shaqiri has a free role supporting Peterson. We need to be quick to win the ball back and look to dominate possession.
DEFENSE
Rodriguez and Sobiech are players with pace. They have different players who could play in attack, but the chances are it'll be a lone striker. Having three at the back allows us to cover for each other, so wherever the striker goes he should be covered. Don't man-mark as you'll only get drawn out of position, but whoever is the closest should get between the player and the goal, right in his face so he can't shoot. Westermann should get back into the defensive line and lead it when they have the ball, but when we have it he has the freedom to get into midfield to allow the midfielders to get forward.
Giaccharini and Rafinha should constantly get forward, but be mindful of their wingers who can cause us problems. Großkreutz should be forced wide to ensure he can't cut into onto his stronger foot and Joaquin should get the same treatment. Cleverley, Casemiro and Trochowski should all work together to not allow their midfielders any time on the ball. Strootman in particular should not be allowed to play any long passes. Be quick to get the ball as soon as it's in our half.
ATTACK
Giaccharini and Rafinha have the license to get right forward as our midfielders have the responsibility to cover them. They should attack their full backs. Buttner is likely to be playing at left back and we should target him. Shaqiri or Cleverley should also get on that side to get on that wing and get balls into the box. Trochowski can also go out wide at times, but two of the three should stay central and support Peterson. Casemiro should hold onto the ball, he should have options of who to pass to, and go fior the odd ball over the top for Peterson to latch onto.
Peterson should have a go at Sorensen. Last time the centre back couldn't cope with us and he is a real weak link. They will tell them to hold a solid line. Depending on this line, we can take advantage. If they have a deep line, then we should look to take all the potshots we want from range without being pressurized and have loads of time on the ball. If it's a high line, then Shaqiri and Peterson should both look to play on the shoulder of the last man on either side and expect balls to come over the top.
SUBSTITUTIONS
If winning bring on McClean for Trochowski. Move to a 4-1-4-1 with natural wingers.
If drawing bring on Bender and Kießling for Westermann and Casemiro. Move to a 4-3-1-2. Kießling should look to win all the headers and hold up the play for the other attackers.
If losing bring on Lima, Kießling and Ben Arfa for Rodriguez, Trochowski and Peterson. Move to an attacking 4-4-2 with Ben Arfa and Shaqiri getting loads of crosses into the box.

GK:this is a winnable game we have a strong enough side to try and win this game,learn from your mistake's from the first game against this side.
Defense: We need lots of communication keeping a solid back-line. So try and clear our lines when possible. Cb’s Defend through the middle to stop play in the middle, make sure to watch the sides (RB/LB) where they will try and beat you through pace but try and force them wide and stand your ground and tackle for the ball if you can,watch the middle closely as there main threat will come from there.
Xhaka: , I want you to collect any lost balls or to win them in you can and try and cause a counter attack by getting the ball and trying to get the ball to the wings, don’t be afraid to tackle to win the ball,try and get the ball to Meier who can start an attack.
Leither/Meier: Use chances well and try to dominate the middle , use through ball's to target Szalai or Crosses to the wings , get into spaces and beaware that counter attack's will start from both of you. Meier use your great form to create us chances and if you see an opening cut in and shoot.
Wingers: I need you to uses your pace to get past their players and your trickery to whip in crosses for the striker, also try and look to come inside to the middle as this will help us draw fouls, also if you see an opening cut in and take a shot.
Szalai: try and open up play by getting into spaces and look to get behind their defense's well as linking up play, this will help create chances and give us ways to become dangerous, beware of any crosses and be sure to capitalize on them, Szalai use your fantastic form to try and get the goals for us as well and be ready to be on the move all ways..[/b]

First cup game of the year, and also the first game I've remembered to give you a team talk. We want to win, and I want us to utilise the talent of our wingers and physicality of our forward. Get the ball wide on the attack and let them do some damage and feed the front man.
Perin - You're young and full of confidence and coffee. Go out, shout loud, catch what you can and parry it clear. Big game, little man.
Di Silvestri/Pasqual - Typical games from you two. I want you to be vigilant for their wingers and to support attacks without getting into the final third. Be ready to get back, hold your man up and jockey him.
Distin/Camporese - Experience and youth here. Distin, I want you to lead the back line and tutor Campo through the game. I want you both to stay zonal and in a firm unit, so as not to get dragged away. Be first to crosses, and watch your positioning to make interceptions on balls from the wings.
Biglia/Noble - Both of you are tasked with enforcing the midfield and winning the battle. That means more than hard tackles so when we get the ball, don't waste it. Look to hit to the wingers today, we want to play with width. In defence, both hold position in front of the back line, but Biglia, follow the midfield runner if they bomb on beyond you.
Diamanti - Top of the fake diamond today. Play off Maxi and look to break into the box from deeper when the balls come in. Give them a second option to pull it back to the edge and use your left foot to spank the ball home. If you find the ball in the middle, look to pick a pass to our wingers firstly, but be patient if it's not there, use the other guys behind you.
El Sharaawy/Insigne - Young wingers, so I want you to show impudence and attack the full backs all game long. Stay wide but when you get the ball go where you like, link with Maxi, or work a shooting chance. Nothing is off limits for you two, the filter is off.
Maxi Lopez - Stay up top, be a physical presence and provide movement for the wingers to hit you with crosses. If they cut inside, link up with them and try and work through the backline with incisive passing.

Right, we have flooded the midfield and we are looking to crowd out the middle of the park to stop Bunga Bunga from being able to play, and Verratti and Maher will look to release Afellay and Mirallas in the inside forward channels in attack. The full backs will bomb on and provide width, overlapping Mirallas and Afellay. When we are in defence, Maher will drop back onto Pirlo and his terrier like presence is aimed to disrupt his time on the ball.
Bardi Stand tall, come for crosses that are close to you making them need to aim crosses further out. Distribute short as much as possible.
Torosidis & Cassani You are part of a unit, so keep your shape and defend together. Pick up any wide players , keep tight and force them to cross from wide and deep as much as possible.. Get forward whenever the opportunity arises, overlap the widemen and get crosses in. You are as much attackers as defenders today
Botia & Fazio – We are expecting Fletcher to play up top, so Fazio will pick him up using his height advantage to win the aeriel battle. If there is a second striker, Botia will pick him up, or play as the spare man to sweep up any balls in behind, or to pick up the midfield runners.
Matip – Breakdown their attacks before they get going. The full backs will bomb forward so cover them by slotting alongside the CBs. If the opposition play an AM, pick him up.
Verratti & Maher – Deep lying playmakers. Get on the ball as much as possible. Take it from the defence and Matip and pass it around. Don’t give up possession easily and look to feed Mirallas, Afellay and the FBs. Defensively, Maher get straight on Pirlo and get in his face. We must flood the space in the centre.
Afellay & Mirallas – You will play as inside forwards. Get the ball from the midfield and run at the defence. Look to play Tevez in behind, or the full backs when they overlap. When the ball is on the other flank go central to support the attack. Defensively, pressurise the ball as soon as we lose it..
Tevez – Work hard and chase everything today. Look to get in behind onto the balls from the creative players. Defensively, pressurise the ball as soon as we lose it, Defence from the front today!

Di Gennaro - You are a young agile keeper. You can make all the saves, but I want you to be confident in your abilities today. Command your defence. When distributing hit the full backs early.
Hibbert and Oviedo - Just defend today boys. Look to show your winger down the line and stop the cross. No going forward today, we are going to play on the counter down the wings. Be part of a narrow back four.
Ranocchia and Chico - I want you two to be strong today. Chico pick up the main man, if there is two up top then both pick up. Lead the line, dominate your forwards. Safety first defending today.
Faraoni and Phillips - We are playing on the counter today so I want you two to be restricted. Play as part of the 5 man midfield and track the FB's if they attack. When we have the ball, be direct, run at your full back and whip in a cross for Fletcher.
Pirlo, Marchisio and Nocerino - Look to dominate the midfield today. We are going to sit back and counter so Nocerino and Marchisio will be box to box with Pirlo sitting deeper and pulling the strings. Look to get the ball out wide if possible and dont be afraid to have a shot from distance if there is an opportunity.
Fletcher - I want you to run your socks off today. Work there CB's hard, and look for the crosses from out wide. May not be many chances for us, so be clinical when they come along.

The philosophy is beginning to take shape with the fantastic win last week and once again we want to go out there and entertain so we've taken it a step further to the preferred Bilbao set up of 3-3-1-3
Whilst their team will have to make changes to bring in youth for the cup we have it in abundance. I imagine they will play with Willems and Miguel amongst the back four which our settled chemistry of the Bilbao trio can really exploit.
GK: Make yourself big on shots, command your box and instruct your defence. Look to release the ball early to our fullbacks to create counters.
WBs: Take a high line marking the wingers as part of the midfield and look to push them back into their own half where possible. Both have excellent control of the ball and are comfortable at feet so look to work with our attack to maintain pressure. If needed to can come deep to make a 5 man defence.
CBs: Rather than marking & reacting to attacks the emphasis is upon pressurising the opponent to regain control of the ball early and to then launch back at the opposition. Montoya has previously played in a CB role so its not alien to him.
DM: Tiote in the enforcer role, look to keep a close mark to Scholes if its him playing, wind him up and let him commit one of his usual tackles to pressure his game early.
CM: Koke to assist with Tiote in the break up of play, use his intelligence to move the ball about to the fast paced options in front of him and dictate the flow of the game.
AM: Herrera to play 1 touch football with the options around him, the excellent chemistry with Susaeta & Muniain should target Miguel and Willems inexperience coming in and create gaps between them.
WGs: Work with both our FBs & Herrera against their defence with speed and fluidity to overwhelm them. Play high up the pitch to force them further and further onto the back foot and look to win the ball back early to maintain this. If opposite winger has the ball then look to go into the box to provide options. Comeback and assist wingbacks where required.
ST:. Be constantly moving so any markers follow you to create further space for the incoming wingers. If they try and combat it by playing zonal then target Miguel and double up on him with Herrera.

Manager's note: Cup week, and we're up against the inexperienced Juan Carrs. We've got a good mix of pace and experience, and a lot of creativity going forward in Jovetic and Valbuena. I want us to play possession football, no need to go long unless chasing the game, our midfield 4 should be able to keep the ball all day and create plenty of chances while our back three should be able to stop their front three, with help from Fletcher. Their pace is from wide, so I want our wingbacks to force them wide as I wouldn't rate their wingers as good crossers, and then put them under pressure.
Kaminski, command your area and build attacks from the back. Communicate with your defence throughout. Watch for long shots and stay big for any 1 on 1's.
Cannavaro/Gallas/Miquel, be strong in the air, confident in possession, if you struggle to pick passes play it short into Gomez/Fletcher in midfield and keep it simple, if not bring the ball out yourselves. Don't allow their strikers to make an impact, they have bags of pace so play a little deeper line than you normally would to limit their impact on the game.
Anyukov/Willems, force your winger wide, close down their attempted crosses, do NOT let them cut inside, and when in possession look to support our wingers, but be sensible and don't overcommit. Make a back 5 without the ball, make a midfield 4 with the ball.
Gomez/Fletcher, Gomez to be our deep lying playmaker and creativity in the middle of the park, and also get stuck in if we're under pressure. Fletcher, play as our out and out DM. Sit infront of the back four. The pair of you to dictate the play in the middle of the park.
Valbuena/Jovetic, keep the markers guessing. You can play anywhere across the AM so drop wide to create gaps in the defence. When in possession, be your creative self, pass, shoot, cross, dribble, cause mayhem. Create chances for Ceballos.
Ceballos, pressurise the CB, pick one CB to stick to. Back into him, bully him, if they double mark you it will only create space for others. Keep this tactic up, and get yourself into positions for crosses, setpieces and in open play. Shoot on sight but also look for the AM making runs when you have possession. Be smart.

If winning: Valbuena off, Tymoshchuk on. Tymo to be an extra DM, add an extra body to your defence on occasion and still be wise enough to use the ball well. Play a 3-5-1-1.

Team Talk: After a great start in the league its time to turn our attention to the cup, whilst other teams may view this as less important we are in it to win it. Today we are facing a well put together Spanish Bank team however we have the midfield to dominate this game. We will look to build from a solid foundation before utlising the pace and trickery of Isco, Gnabry and Suso to really hurt the Banks defense. As always we will look to keep possession and prevent the opposition from settling, this will allow us to create lots of chances.
Hilário: Command your box and be calm under any crosses that come in.
Gámez/Monreal: Both of you need to be wary of Banks FullBacks/Wingbacks getting forward as this is a tactic that they are almost certain to go with (given Alba is one of their best players). With this in mind we want to be forcing them wide and making them beat you if they want to get a cross in. Both of you are great defenders and that is what you need to be today. Don't worry about getting forward as our wide men can exploit the gaps that they leave.
Puyol/Domínguez: Puyol to mark the main striker (Saviola probably) and use your experience to prevent him from settling, Domínguez to sweep/pick up the second striker. Communicate to make sure that you know who is dealing with any balls that come in.
Custódio/Beñat: Custódio to play the holding role that he plays so well and look to pick up their CAM (if they play one). Stop the ball from getting to him look to disrupt the flow of the Bank's attacks. Beñat to pick up any runners from deep as well as to hustle Bank's players into making mistakes. In possession the pair of you are to look to start our attacks, both with simple balls between yourselves and Isco as well as more expansive balls to the wingers.
Isco: Once again you will be our attacking lynchpin and you have a fairly free role. Look to drop deep and aid Custódio/Beñat in starting our attacks, doing this will also prevent their DCM (if they play one and set him to mark you) from being effective. This will also allow you to pull the strings and get our other attacking players into the game. Further forward utilise the space that Soldado creates for you to operate in and ensure that you look to link up with him, Suso and Gnabry whenever possible.
Suso/Gnabry: Big roles from you to today as I really want you to exploit the space that the Banks fullbacks/wingbacks leave behind them when they go forward. You both have great pace as well as the ability to beat your man when you need to. Alternate between going outside and whipping in crosses and using your pace to drive inside. When you come inside look for quick passes between yourselves, Isco and Soldado to unlock the Bank's defence.
Soldado: Utlise your great movement to prevent either Bank centre back from sticking to you, not only will you ensure that any chances that may fall your way can be put away but you will also provide key spaces for Isco/Suso/Gnabry to work in. Finally if you get a sniff then take it!

Alright, tough to lose a win last week, but we know we can compete, lets get out cup campaign off to a good start. Lets let them do all the running while we pull them out of position. Play a high line and put pressure on their ball players in midfield.
Clyne: Part of a 4 man defense this week, be more defensively minded, but be sure to get forward when the opportunity arises. You have the energy to get up and down the field. Push your man towards the byeline if yhou get 1 on 1.
Jagielka: Be sure to cover in case our FBs get caught high up the pitch, otherwise look to cover the 2nd striker if one plays, if not cover Caulker and watch for midfield runs.
Caulker: Take their top striker, and bully him out the game. Don;t give him an inch.
Alba: Look to push on and double up with Miyaichi. Drop back in when we lose it, but look to push the attack on from defense.
Flamini: Look to play the short pass if under pressure, make sure we keep it rather than attempting high risk passes. Get tight to their playmaker in midfield, look to suffocate him and prevent him from picking passes.
Suarez: Play the simple pass, otherwise when we don;t have it cover the defense, be it either the Fbs being caught or runs from midfield.
Rakitic: Free role today, look to drift into space and play the killer passes to our attackers, or run at the defense. Demand the ball.
Miyaichi: Use your pace to stretch the FB, be aware of Alba on the overlap and make plenty of runs inbetween the FB and CB.
Dyer: Run at the FB and look to pull the ball back from incisive positions or get off a shot. Again look to make runs inbetween the FB and CB.
Niang: Run the channel and sit on the shoulder of the last man. When you get into a position to shoot don't let them off.

With the injury bug cleared, its time to build some momentum. Carr's young team will come at us with plenty of energy so we need to make them expend it chasing us. Don't give them easy possession, and make sure we press them in midfield and defense. When they make a mistake, we'll be clinical and make them pay for their aggression.
Foster: Be alert to come and clear if they play balls in behind.
Vertonghen: Take charge of the back 4, marshall them. You're covering today, be alert to come and clear if anybody gets caught.
Mussachio: Be aggressive with their front man, stick to him like a limpet. Put pressure on him and keep him facing away from goal.
Wisdom: Make their winger go the long way round you, don't give him an easy cut in. Look to stay at home.
Alba: More reserved game today, look to get forward on the odd break though. Again look to push your winger away from goal and don't give easy cut ins
Flamini: Harry and harass them in midfield, don't give them time to look up and pick passes. Play a simple ball when you get it back.
Arteta: Deeper role today, sit in fron of the bak 4 and cover the defense from runs from deep. Distribute when you get it, to one of our creative forces.
Miyaichi: Stretch the FB with your pace, look to make runs in behind him and one of our y creative players will find you.

Great draw last week v my old adversary Afro and this week we continue in our philosophy of fast paced and pressurising football high up the field, with Rodrigo assisted by the Bilbao trio of Herrera, De Marcos and Muniain we shall score!

CM: Koke to assist with Tiote in the break up of play, use his intelligence to move the ball about to the fast paced options in front of him and dictate the flow of the game.
AM: Herrera to play 1 touch football with the options around him, the excellent chemistry with De Marcos & Muniain should allow them to unlock the defence of Bank, use vision and technique to thread balls past the FBs into space. When not in possession then pressurise the opposition immediately.
WGs: Work with both our FBs & Herrera against their defence with speed and fluidity to overwhelm them. Play high up the pitch to force them further and further onto the back foot and look to win the ball back early to maintain this. If opposite winger has the ball then look to go into the box to provide options.
ST: Hard work and perseverance today, be a constant thorn to their CBs by not letting them settle and make them release the ball early. Be constantly moving so any markers follow you to create further space for the incoming wingers.

Team Talk: Big game today against our fellow Deportivo and we're looking to surprise them with a new formation which utlises Isco and Tello as Inside Forwards. This will allow us to torment their center backs as well as their fullbacks whilst providing room for Mkhitaryan to get forward into. We will look to play our cute passing game to wear out the opposition and have them chasing the ball.
Hilário - Be big in the air and command your box, watch for any through balls that they try and thread through.
Gámez/Monreal - If Villa/Jovetic play wide then it is your job to mark them into obscurity, defending is the main priority today. Make sure that whoever is on the wings for Sharona is forced outwide before taking the ball.
Puyol/Domínguez - Puyol to stick to their striker (if they play one up front) and prevent him from settling, Domínguez to sweep and watch from runs from deep. If they play two up front then Domínguez to mark Villa (if he is up front) as you are much quicker than him, Puyol can then pick up the other striker and once again prevent him from settling.
Custódio/Beñat - Custódio to stick to either their AM (if they play one) and/or aid the centre backs in marking Villa/Jovetic out of the game. Beñat to prevent Scholes from settling. If Scholes doesn't start then pick up whomever plays in his place. When we have the ball look for simple passes and Mkhitaryan/Isco/Tello inparticular.
Mkhitaryan - Big role today on debut as I need you to straddle attack and defence. When we are without the ball get back to make sure we are not outnumbered and then look to burst forward. Link up with Tello and Isco in the room that their movement (and Soldado's) provides. You and Isco are instrumental to us winning today. You have an awesome scoring record so shoot on sight.
Isco/Tello - Inside forwards today playing in the gap between their fb's and cb's. Soldado will use his great movement to provide room for you. Isco to look to link up with Mkhitaryan as much as possible and overload their DCM. By running into the natural gaps you will drag their players out of position.
Soldado - Use you great movement to provide room for Mkhitaryan/Isco/Tello to play in. By doing this you'll be able to link up with them. None of their cb's will be able to cope with you let alone when supported by the aforementioned three players.

Manager's note: Big derby game, the first ever Deportivo Derby, and also an important game regarding qualification. Chorizo may be expecting our wingback system but we are playing a conventional 4-2-3-1, to match their likely 4-2-3-1. I want us to play a controlled possession game, we have the midfield 5 to do just that, and create plenty of chances for David Villa who is making his debut, hopefully this approach will see us earn 3 points in a tight Spanish group.
Kaminski, command your area, stay in communication with your defence, don't play the ball long unless absolutely necessary. Watch for long shots.
Anyukov/Fuchs, beware of their wingers, but don't be afraid to get forward yourselves. Force their wingers wide, foul them high up the pitch to limit their counter attacking impact, be sensible and stay on your feet.
Gallas/Miquel, a combination of experience and pace, Miquel to stick to Soldado, track his runs and attempt to beat him to the ball. Gallas to read the game and cut out through balls, as well as following anyone who runs into the area late. Both have an aerial advantage over Soldado so limit his impact from crosses and setpieces.
Scholes/Fletcher, Scholes to be our deep lying playmaker, and also get stuck in when we are under pressure. Look for the AM's and Villa when you have the ball. Fletcher to be our DM, but also link with Scholes when we have the ball. Dictate the play. If Isco plays, ensure he has to drop very deep to get possession, but don't follow him if he drops deep as others may capitalise on the space in behind.
Falque/Kovacic/Jovetic, All three of you have pace, trickery and versatility. While your three positions are RW-AM-LW, I want you to constantly swap, drift infield, pass the ball to feet and create chances for each other and for Villa. Don't allow one Chorizo defender to get a grip on you, drag them out of position and occasionally double up on one of the fullbacks.
Villa, lone striker but constant support from the AM's. Get into space in the area, look to target Puyol, you have the pace to beat him and all you should need is half a yard to get your shot in. Play facing forward, the AM's should do all the work behind you.

FC No Respek tactics:
GK - Butland – Communication is the key - let your CBs know if you can claim the ball or if there is danger lurking around. Parry shots away from danger, try to catch the ball but punch to distance if you need to.
CBs - work as a unit today and tell each other where your opposing players are.
Hangeland – you will pick up the main striker. Always be aware of where he is and ensure that you get to the ball first. You're going to be bigger than your opponent, so get close to him and don’t let him settle.
Coloccini – you will pick up the runs of their second striker if they play one, or alternatively their RW. Don't dive in, keep your opponent on the outside, if he gets the ball at his feet just shepherd him until Cole can come across to help out.
Caulker – you are the fastest CB of the three, so you are on clear-up duties. Cover for your partners, if a winger or midfielder is making a run you will cover them.
RWB - Debuchy – you’re at your best when you’re roaming the right side - I want you to do just that. Attack when appropriate, as Caulker will have your LW opponent covered. Keep it simple – beat your man with your pace, get balls into the box for Ba and Adebayor, and ensure that you always track back. When defending, keep the LW opponent close and don't let him drift inside. Caulker will help cover if you're doubled-up by the LW and LB.
LWB - Cole - I want you to maraud down the left, exploit their RB along with Ben Arfa, and use your smarts to overlap and get balls into Adebayor and Ba. You have the stamina to get back and defend, so it's up to you and Ben Arfa to cover the left side. Coloccini also has your back.
DM - Parker – Captain, your job is simple – sit in front of the back three and keep the ball moving. Short, simple passes to the wing-backs or to Pogba and Ben Arfa, and ensure that any AM presence is not allowed to settle on the ball. Always close your opponents down, and make sure that the CBs know where their opponents are. And obviously we want you to get stuck in!
AMs – work with Adebayor to create space for yourselves and the wing-backs and look to get Ba played in ahead of you.
Pogba – you have a fantastic engine, I want you to make yourself an option for Parker and Debuchy, and get the ball forward into space for Adebayor and Ba.
Ben Arfa – this game is made for you. Adebayor and Ba will be causing the CBs no end of trouble with their movement, so get on the ball and use your lightning pace and untouchable ball control to run at the defence, using the space opened up by the forwards. If space is tight then play Debuchy in down the right, find Adebayor and Pogba in space, and most importantly, play Ba in ahead of you. That being said, you WILL have plenty of space today – let’s see you getting on the ball and running at the defence.
STs – the opponents won’t know how to deal with your movement and pace – keep moving at all times and make gaps for Pogba and Ben Arfa to exploit.
Adebayor – I want to see you dropping off the CBs, getting into space, and making it impossible for the CBs to track you. If you do that, Ba, Pogba and Ben Arfa will be able to use the space you’ve created to break into the box. When you get the ball, run past your man and get your shot off – you have a great shot, make the most of it!
Ba – your job is simple today – move, move, move! The CBs won’t be able to pick up Adebayor when he drops deep, so I want you to make runs across them, get between them, do everything you can to confuse them. With Pogba, Ben Arfa and Adebayor behind you there will be balls played through to you – use your pace to get past your man and unleash your trademark thunderbolt. Also, Debuchy and Cole will be crossing balls into the box – get ahead of your man and get your head on the ball.
Expected Moleicester tactics:
Moleicester have a good blend of young and old, and should either play 4-4-2 or 3-5-2. But their U21s are inexperienced and if we press them, they will make mistakes. Don’t let their U21s run at you, make sure you keep them close and don’t let them settle on the ball. Really hassle them. Their forwards will be less mobile than our trio of CBs, so keep them in your sights and mark them out of the game. Then when we have the ball, look to exploit their lack of pace at the back through your movement and pace. Getting Ba and Adebayor past Ferdinand (if he plays) would put them under huge pressure.
FC No Respek subs:

Giggs will play a deeper role and look to use his vision to play Ba and Adebayor in through the middle and Cole/Debuchy in down the flanks.

Team Talk
We're up against a strong side who I feel are at thier best in midfield and I've got two players in Rofles and Genter to play a little deeper then normal to combat that. We'll look to use the centre of the pitch and the wings mix it up, defend and attack as a team, we won't give up and I feel if we can get the upper hand in midfield we have a strong chance.
KEEPER
Make yourself as big as possible in 1 v 1 hold your ground make goal look small, always communicate, let defenders know early if you can claim ball try to catch but punch if you have to tip shots way from danger area if you can't hold them. Look to get the ball long to Vellios.
DEFENDERS
My fullbacks I only want one to push up at times the other will stay back, when they get forward make off ball runs to create space and get crosses in for attackers. When defending watch the ball jockey your man pushing him outside or if you have one of the CM there make the winger come inside.
I'd like Shawcross to pick up main striker, do not let him get on his stride shoulder charge him to knock him off balance, watch the runs in behind, get a strong early leap when defending long balls. Tasco pick up the SS/AM watch for the balls he will try to play, block, intercept any through balls jockey your man don't dive in.
MIDFIELD
Gentner and Rofles both of you to sit back, I want you both to work as a unit when one goes a little forward the other will drop. Close your opposition down quickly when they come in our half, cut the supply, force them to pass backwards, battle against thier midfield we are naturally more stronger in that respect. Keep your passing snappy and simple, get it to the wingers and VDV nothing special always be availabale as an option or pass.
The wide men both have different jobs to do, Sterling I want to always give us width and constant supply, use your pace and skill to beat man and get crosses in for attackers, always look forward don't have back to their goal we will play long balls at times to you. Draxler will have more liscence to come inside linking with VDV and making runs through the middle, mix it up at times go on outside an get crosses in. Both wingers will have to track back.
STRIKERS
VDV will play as my SS, looking to make runs off Vellios knock ons and runs into the box, put pressure on opposition DM to stop thier flow of passing. You have a very good shot so try to get into shooting positions, forward passes to Vellios to his feet or for him to run onto. If we are struggling a little drop a bit back for us to pick possesion.
Vellios the spear head of the attack, knock balls on, hold it for teammates, run around closing the CB down, be aware of crosses we want to use your height. Get in the face of defenders be akward if you don't win ball jump with them to put them off maybe a deflection or the bounce may fall kindly to us. WOrk hard in the box try to loose your man always stay on the move.

TACTICS
We will continue to use the formation which won the first cup game. Westermann will slot in as an auxillary defender to allow the wing backs to bombard forward. We will attack using pace, down the wings as we feel their full backs can be attacked. Lima gets the nod today due to his pace.
We should look to dominate possession and keep things tight at the back with a flat defensive line.
DEFENSE
They have the likes of Sterling and Draxler who will be making runs at us, but rather than being dragged out of position we will keep tight with a flat back five to keep things tight. Vellios should play upfront but we want Sobiech to challenge him in the air and win the headers. Should Huntelaar play, then it is essential he isn't given time to shoot and the defenders should be quick to close him down.
In front of the back five we have a free form style with the players looking to stop them from playing by being high pressurizing as soon as the ball gets into our half, the four midfielders should hunt them down and win possession quickly.
ATTACK
We will attack them down the wings, Giaccharini and Rafinha should always push up and double up on the opposing full backs. McClean and Shaqiri can both cut inside and take long shots. Lima should make runs across their defenders, use his pace and his clinical finishing. Huth and Shawcross aren't the quickest so could struggle up against pace. Sigurdsson can get forward often to support Lima and take long range efforts, but he will mainly be responsible for getting the ball and picking out the killer pass. Casemiro has a box to box role but is expected to go flying in with tackles, he is the powerhouse of our midfield.
SUBSTITUTIONS
If winning bring on Bender for Sigurdsson, who should hold while Casemiro goes box to box. Dominate possession and win the game.
If drawing bring on Kießling for Lima. Change in strikers, look to use fresh energy to attack them.
If losing bring on Peterson and Kießling for Lima and Westermann. Move to a 4-4-2 and bombard them with balls into the box. Both the strikers can get on the end of them.

Team talk: We want to play at a high tempo today, getting the ball forward to our creative front three via surging runs from Marchisio. Defensively we have a strong spine to deal with attacks, so the wider players can look to get at the opponents.
Perin - Simple play, come for balls you can reach and communicate with your defenders to help them when they need you.
De Silvestri/Rat - Both can attack as well as defend, so get up the pitch but be aware always of getting back in time. Defensively play on your feet and don't commit by diving in to tackles. Don't allow them quick balls in, and be on your toes if they try and get beyond you.
Evans/Campo - Evans will lead the backline today, and the main forward will be his responsibility. If there are two, Campo takes him on. Both need to be solid and to be safety first at the back; just clear your lines and keep things tight.
Gago/Biglia - Working as a pair again today, I want you to patrol the middle of the field, win the ball and monopolise possession. Use Marchisio's energy to move us forward, or look for the early ball to the wingers. Either way, move the ball along and sit tight in the middle, following runners and covering the FBs if required.
Marchisio - Sit at the head of the CM trio, and when you get the ball drive us on. Look for one twos with the wingers or striker, or look to feed them with passes. Up and down all day, and harry their ball players in the middle to make it uncomfortable for them.
El Sharaawy/Insigne - Winger/inside forward hybrids today, so I want you in advanced positions on either side of the striker looking for the ball from the middle. Make runs beyond the backline if they are playing a high line, but seek to run at them and supply ammo for Martinez if they are sitting in front of you. Cutting inside for shots is welcomed.
Martinez - Movement and clinical finishing is all we require. Get on the shoulder, in between CBs, drop to the edge of the box - whatever you like, but present yourself and be open for passes in the danger zone.

Team talk:
Our tactic is to be a bit more conservative in the first half, retaining possession and being patient, taking any chances when they come, but not at expense of losing the ball easily. Second half, we bring more energy into the side and try to attack a tiring side who have been chasing the ball for 45 minutes.
Keeper Stand tall, come for crosses that are close to you making them need to aim crosses further out. Distribute short as much as possible.
Full backs You are part of a unit, so keep your shape and defend together. Pick up any wide players , keep tight and force them to cross from wide and deep as much as possible. Stay back in the first half. In second half, you can
CBs – Howedes will pick up the main striker. In first half Botia will pick up any second striker, or play spare sweeping up loose balls. Second half, Toulalan will replace Botia at CB and take on his role. He will also step forward when possible to support Verratti and Maher
CMs – Get on the ball as much as possible and keep possession. Take it from the defence and pass it around. Don’t give up possession easily and look to feed Mirallas, Afellay and the strikers. Defensively - breakdown their attacks before they get going support the defence. Press the ball and win it back as quickly as possible.
Wingers –Get the ball from the CMs and run at the defence. Go inside and out to beat your man and create space for the strikers. Swap flanks to keep the defence guessing. When the ball is on the other flank go central to support the attack. Defensively, pressurise the ball as soon as we lose it..
Strikers – Tevez will play a freer role today, going wherever he cause the most damage. Drop deeper, go wide into channels, go further forward close the the striker. Team Talk: Attacking football again today. Use this match as more time to help ajust to our formation. Bunga Bunga will either play long ball or pack the midfield out, with Crouch injured I expect a bit of both. Lately they have been a scrappy team. If we keep the ball on the deck & in our possesion this shouldnt be tough. We need to play with pace, especially attacking. Keep the ball moving, once again Kroos is vital to all our team does while Huddlestone sill support him. Rumour has it this could be Defoes last match for FC Murder, lets make it a good send off.
Tactics:
Gollini: Communicate with the defence, keep them aware of whos where. Come for crosses by your 6 yard box. Be big for 1 on 1's. Use this to gain experance.
Fornasier: Toni or Fletcher could be leading the line, if a lone striker man mark, stay close to him, dont let him turn you. Challange for anything in the air. Playing a high line with offside trap, as they lack pace upfront. If two strikers start then you will act as a sweeper.
Ogbonna & Mbia: Get tackles in & win headers. Watch for attacking fullbacks or AM's. Our DM's will assist you in picking up players, instruct them as to who & where. We will play a high line with the offside trap so keep Fornasier in line, ensure he is last so he can step up & bring the offside trap into play. If two strikers then mark one each. DM's will watch their AM's/Fullbacks with Fornasier sweeping.
Huddlestone & Marrone: Help with defensive duties. Watch for CM/AM's pushing forward and pick them up.
Marrone: Sit back today. Help your defence out. Keep in space & be available for the ball, with it get it to the forwards & mainly the wide men.
Huddlestone: Sit in the middle of the park today. Pull the strings, along with Kroos we need you guys to contol the tempo. Occasionally push up field, you have a great long range shooting ability, use it!. Play Pedro in down the line or through the middle. Always be looking for Kroos & Petrucci, either or both should be in space.
Kroos: Box to box. Want you to get this game under control. Marrone & Hudd will always be on for a pass. Look for Petrucci as he sitting infront of you or drifting to the left wing, use him or the space he leaves. Distribute the ball across the pitch, keep things moving. Always try find space to receive the ball. Shoot from range. Through balls for Defoe & Pedro, Zaha feed in behind.
Petrucci: Support Defoe, use your creative knack to get through the opponents defence. Shoot from inside the box. Look for the space Pedro leaves & use it, it should allow you to get some crosses in or even get a shot on goal. Feed Zaha down the line.
Zaha: Use your trickery to beat him the fullback.Get crosses into near post or aong the floor. If you cant beat your man the whip a cross in. Ever so often cut inside, play a crafty ball or shoot.
Pedro: You shuld be facing Billy Jones or van Rhijn, use your movement, pace and trickery to beat either, this shouldnt prove an issue. Mix your play up from, getting to the byline & cutting inside. Cross to front post for Defoe or cut back for Petrucci. When coming inside get into a shooting position & pull the trigger. Shoot on sight in the box. Watch Defoes movement, it may open space for you.
Defoe: Shoot on sight from distance or in the box. Crosses will come to the near post or along the ground. Petrucci will be playing off & Pedro will be supporting. If marked tightly drag him out of position letting Petrucci/Pedro in.

Oxlade Chamberlain: Im expecting you to play against Bertrand so take them on with pace and watch for Yennaris overlapping to link up with, if goes outside you go inside etc, when crossing aim for the gap between defence/keeper
Redmond: Use your pace to get at Kelly twist him inside and out, Balzaretti will support you on the attack, we need you to track back as well to use your pace to keep their winger quiet.

* Midfielders must try to drop back to help the back four

GK - Butland – let your CBs know if you can claim the ball or if there is danger lurking around. Parry shots away from danger, try to catch the ball but punch to distance if you need to.
CBs - work as a unit today and tell each other where your opposing players are.
Vrsaljko – you will pick up the main striker. Keep tight on him, don’t let him settle, and if he runs at you don't dive in - keep him on the outside until Wisdom can come across to help out.

A must win game, so set out with a solid team to try and break them down, lots of ball players in the midfdle of the park and De Bruyne and Marin to vcome on if needed when they tire.
Cudicini is very experienced, so knows when to come off his line and when not to. Great shot stopper and good in the air. So what he cant catch he will punch clear. when he comes off his line he will shut down strikers and reduce their shooting angles.
Hummels is back and will partner Bruma. Hummels man marks the striker and keeps him quiet. Watch his every move so he is ready to get into position when he comes forward. A solid defender who wont be beaten easily. Even if he is Bruma is there beside him. He sweeps up and gets rif of everything else, so any other danger he is there to clear. Will at times sits just behind Hummels in case he loses the striker, both clear any high balls, no messing about. Carvajal andClichy both attack minded, but only one goes at a time, get up and support the wingers, go on there outside and play quick one touch triangles to break the lines of defence, whip in early crosses or look to cut back for the winger who has gone inside. Defend the lines, stand tall and keep the wingers outside and away from the danger area.
Neustaedter is the main DM, he keeps there AM/Playmaker quiet, in his face quickly to stop him dictating play, at 6'4 he is a man beast and very difficult to get past, powerful so wont be pushed about. He doesnt venture too far orward in open play but does go up for corners. Once he has won the ball has been won by him Gundogan picks up and gets it going forward, nice simple passes to those in front, once its gone he will follow his pass and make himself available for a return ball. Help out in defence by watching the 2nd most AM and break up play. Sahin is my playmaker, most goes through him, his vision and passing are second to none, he at times will drop deep to pick the ball up so he can fire out to the wings or up to Klose, always on the move demanding the ball so he can set players through on goal. Will sit back when theyhave and form a very tough trio to try and get past. Prone to the odd shot from outside the box as well.
Rabello gets his chance out wide so he must take it, the youngster is full of running so will drive at the right back trying to open up opportunities for himself and others. Will have Clichy for support at times so up to them to get beyond the defnce and whip in the crosses, Jakub does the same job on the RW, a much sought after player so will look to show why he is most wanted. A talented player who loves to take on his marker and eiother cross in or drive into the box awaiting a return pass. I want both wingers to use their fullbacks when they support or Sahin/Gundogan in the middle to pass to and drive forward into the box to make extra bodies and possibly wait for a Klose knock down or lay-off.
Klose up top is a player who never seems to get old, a perfect lone striker and knows how to to this job, Will work the defence and always look to get into positions to cause danger. Great two feet and exceptional in the air so hopefully plenty crosses will come his way from out wide, he will leap early to try and get above the CB's. Very unselfish so if he can get a shot away look to lay off for those running in.

TACTICS
We want to go out and get through to the knockout round of the cup. We expect them to come out with an attacking line up and we need to be strong defensively but quick to break on the counter attack with a lot of attacking quality of our own on show.
DEFENSE
Klose are both clincial in front of goal but aren't great dribblers of the ball so we are going to play a higher line today. Marin and Blaszykowski need to be quickly marked if they play to ensure that they do not have time to create opportunities. As usual, we will go for a zonal marking system, we will have a bank of four with three in front. We will be looking to counter attack and with three forward it prevents them getting their full backs forward, and if they do it's three on two. We will let them have the ball in their own half, but when they get into ours we should quickly close them down. Sahin is the most likely to playmake in there and Cleverley or Casemiro should quickly get to him. Win the ball and get it to the front three.
ATTACK
Shaqiri has a free role where he can either get wide and get crosses into the box, or stay in the centre. If they try to man-mark you, keep moving and create space for the likes of Cleverley and Casemiro to drive forward into. Son should also constantly be on the move, difficult to pick up on the shoulder of the last man. Make yourself a nuisance. Kießling should be our focal point, win all of the headers with your height, get on the end of crosses which Rafinha and Schmelzer will deliver. They are weak defensively and we can try to take advantage of that, and their keeper isn't the best so shoot on sight and be quick to pounce if he spills the ball.
SUBSTITUTIONS
If winning bring on Giaccharini for Son, move to a 4-5-1 with Cleverley moving slightly further forward.
If drawing bring on Giaccharini for Casemiro and move to a 4-4-2. Get loads of crosses into the box for the strikers to head home.

Sippel communication is key here always talk to defence, if you can claim the ball give a nice early shout to defenders I prefer you to catch the ball but punch it if under pressure. Make yourself big as possible making the goal look small, stand your ground make the attacker commit under pressure. If you can not hold onto the ball from a shot tip it away from the goal so attacker does not have a chance to get onto rebound. Hit ball long to Vellios who will knock it up.

I want you too keep your shape when defending, close the wingers down quickly jockey them and try to stop the crosses or push them backwards going forward make runs to open up space for wingers.
CB
Shawcross pick up the main striker knock him off ball early to stop his stride do not let him get momentum do not give him the room to pass the ball or shoot Tasci pick up SS/AM watch the runs he makes behind you intercept through balls and passes.
CM
Ledesma and Hitzsperger will be sitting slightly deeper to stop the opposition attacks work as a unit watch players making late runs get in the way pushing them backwards. Start building up attacks from deep, look to dictate the tempo fast or slown depending on what we need. Be patient in your build up and do not look to lose possesion of ball easily second half quicker passing and look to get balls through.
WM
Routledge and Sterling get at your men use pace to run at them making them commit, trickery and skills get crosses in for our big striker and track back when defending. Make runs in behind FB Ledesma will be looking to target that area.

Team Talk: Must win game today guys. Under Brescia FC are tough, we will need to be at the top of our game. They have a pacey front line so we will play 5 at the back with a deep line, this should help to contain them. We have lots of defensive cover this way & in Hernández & Pedro have excellent left and right wingers/forwards. Play on the counter attack. Dont be afraid to play the long ball to Denis, we want to use his strengths. This could be the quickest way to counter at times. Paulinho has a great burst of energy so use this to start counter attacks. We may not get many chances so be sure to take them when they come. If we take the lead go for more on the counter, be relentless. If we concede focus on defending as a team then counter. Most importantly, keep focused and play will the very final whistle, never give up.
Gollini: Talk to your defence, they are there to protect you so give them info of whos where etv. Stand tall. Come for crosses by your 6 yard box. Be big for 1 on 1's. Distribute short.
Mbia, Fornasier, Ogbonna: If a lone striker Mbia will be central & man mark while Fornasier & Ogbonna will pick up any AM's, runners or wide men coming inside. If two strikers Mbia will shift to Right Centre Half and mark one, while Left Centre Half Ogbonna will mark the other, Fornasier will go central & provide cover. This way we are using our more experianced centre halfs to mark taking pressure in a vital cup game off youngster Fornasier. All CB's will challange for balls in the air, stay goal side of the attacker & block long shots. Under Brescia have quick strikers so we will play a deep line today.
Jenkinson & Santon: Pick up the opposition wide men, wingers or if none & fullbacks if they attack. All the usual in stopping crosses & making sure they dont get in behind. Provide width today, support the midfield & be on to recieve the ball but dont make runs all the way up the field, I want you in position today neutralising any threats. Cross from deep, any longh balls aim for Denis.
Marrone: Sit in the middle today & protect your defence. If anyone is playing in the hole pick them up. Focus on making interceptions, stopping any opposition runs, general breaking up play. Team Talk: Last game of the group stages today lads and if we avoid defeat then we're through, however that doesnt mean we're simply going for the draw. Total Juan Carrs need to win to have any chance today so lets use our pace to really hurt them. Custódio and Beñat to prevent their midfield from playing (Especially Maher) before we use our simple passing game to allow us to break quickly. We've beaten them once this season in the league so lets make that a double today lads.
Hilário - Command your box, look to claim any crosses
Monreal/Azpilicueta - Stay back and make sure that the very dangerous wingers of TJC are forced wide, Munain inparticular must be made fairly anonymous. If we get on top of them early on their heads will drop and our job will be made easier.
Puyol/Domínguez - Puyol to use all of his experience to dominate the TJC striker, this will allow Domínguez to sweep up any through balls and watch for the wingers if they managed to get away from our fullbacks.
Custódio - Pick up their CAM and don't let him settle, use your great positioning to make sure that he is anonymous for the whole game. You are the starting point of our attacks, look for the simple ball to get Beñat and Isco into play.
Beñat - Box to box today in the role you played so perfectly against Real Madrid in real life last week. When they have the ball settle back alongside Custódio as this will prevent us from becoming outnumbered in the middle of the park. As soon as we get the ball look to drive us forward, Isco is our focal point so look for him often. Don't be afraid to carry the ball if needed.
Isco - As always your role is vital, play in the space that Soldado's movement provides us with. Undoubtably they will be playing a DCM to cover you so drift deeper if you want. Both Tello and Callejón have got license to drift inside so you can use them to simply pass our way around their defensive players. Look to use all of your trickery and creativeness to get us the victory.
Tello/Callejón - We can really attack their fullbacks today especially with Lichtsteiner out injured. I want you to really give their fb's a headache by alternating between going wide to whip crosses in and running diagonally at a dangerous angle across their fbs so that their CB's have to deal with you as well. When coming inside look to link up with Isco in the space that Soldado provides us with.
Soldado - Utilise your great movement to drag their CB's out of position if they follow you. If neither of their CB's follow you then you'll be in the perfect position inbetween their cb and fb to be put through by a beautiful ball from Isco. Whilst our opponents have to swap and change their team to make amendments for the cup rule, we can play pretty much our strongest team, we need the win so I want high pressure from the off never letting them settle and chasing every ball.
GK: Make yourself big on shots, command your box and instruct your defence. Look to release the ball early to our fullbacks to create counters.
WBs: Take a high line marking the wingers and look to push them back into their own half where possible. Both have excellent control of the ball and are comfortable at feet so look to work with our attack to maintain pressure.
CBs: Rather than marking & reacting to attacks the emphasis is upon pressurising the opponent to regain control of the ball early and to then launch back at the opposition. If the opposition have a lone striker then it’s 2 on 1, if they play 2 up front then Aurtenetxe is to come narrower and make 3 on 2.
CMs: Koke to assist with De Marcos in the break up of play, use their intelligence to move the ball about to the fast paced options in front of them and dictate the flow of the game.
AM: Herrera to play 1 touch football with the options around him, the excellent chemistry with Susaeta & Muniain should allow them to unlock the defence of the opposition, use vision and technique to thread balls past the FBs into space. Manager's note: Tough quarter final against Atalanta Falcons, but I believe our new additions can give us the advantage. I want us to be physical throughout but also maintain control of the game and not to be wasteful in possession. Play to your strengths and use what skills you have to keep possession throughout. Marco Reus is their dangerman, assuming he plays, Fletcher is on the pitch simply to man mark him throughout.
Kaminski, command your area, look for long shots, stay big for one on ones, distribute to the fullbacks or CM's, but try the occasional long pass. Stay in communication with your defence.
Sakho/Ruiz, dominate their striker, they like to play one upfront so assuming that happens, Sakho to mark the striker where you have the height advantage and Ruiz clean up any mess in behind using your pace, stay in communication with each other and when in possession, use the ball wisely.
Wallace/Pieters, Atalanta could well play with wingers, with wingbacks or with Reus outwide. If Reus plays, you'll have assistance from Fletcher on whatever side he plays, but your primary job is to maintain part of a back four, regardless of who plays and who helps you out. Whoever runs at you, force them wide and block the cross. When in possession look to get forward and get crosses into the area, but only one of you get forward at a time to not overcommit.
Coquelin/Fletcher, Coquelin is our out and out DM, assist the fullbacks and centrebacks if needbe, use the ball wisely and look for the AM's. Fletcher to man mark Reus, track him throughout and make sure he has no time to impact the game. If Reus isn't playing, play as a secondary DM anyway, to make sure we can absorb any Atalanta pressure then counter attack.
Costa/Kovacic/Jovetic/Villa, Our front four, I believe we'll have enough players back to soak up pressure so I want you four to be focused on attacking only. Costa and Jovetic can swap wings, cut inside, go outside, get crosses into danger areas rather than aim for Villa, and get shots in on goal. Kovacic can be our link from CM to the wingers and Villa upfront, but also drift into the area for the crosses, arrive late to avoid being marked, and don't be afraid to shoot. Villa to be the wily striker, stick to one of the CBs, turn left and right to lose your marker and beat the defenders to the ball. The crosses will be aimed for spaces rather than for you, so you need to gamble and get into those areas before being your clinical self.

Team Talk: Quarter final time and lets continue our move towards a potential double. Benat to sit and protect the back four whilst HM and Isco alternate who is playing in the 10 position. We've proved we are the best German team around now lets prove we are the best team in the world. We are up against a solid outfit who like to pass the ball a lot. We will look to hit them on the counter using our width and the passing range of Ledesma. Let them pass in thier own half but when they come into ours we swarm them pushing them backwards. If Chorizo play a 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 we will expose the wide positions because its hard for the wide men to make up the ground between them and defence constantly.
KEEPER
Stand your ground make the goal as small as possible use the whole of your body to block or stop a shot. Always shout early if you get to a ball try to catch it but punch if you are under pressure parry shots away from danger if you can't hold them. Look to release our wide players quickly to hit them on the break.
DEFENDERS
I only want one FB to push up at a time when Boateng does look to link up with Sterling make the pass and driving forward Gibbs I like to see you making runs down the wing giving us the width and room for Draxler who likes to cut in. When the FB are defending I want you to jockey your man trying to push him backwards you both have the pace to keep up with your man.
Rami will pick up Soldado he likes to stretch defenders so don't follow him wide keep our shape and pick him up in your area watch for runs behind you looking to peel of you don't give him room to shoot block the shots don't let him settle on the ball shoulder barge him knock him of his stride. Shawcross pick up the SS/AM watch his passes for the striker get in the way block, intercept, try not to let him get the ball through. Watch for his runs don't dive in read the game be composed on the ball.
MIDFIELD
Ledesma and Gentner are sitting infront of the back four protecting them and covering them if they are out of position which will be rare. Let the opposition keep the ball in thier own half but if they come in ours close them down and pressure them push them backwards. Gentner the more aggresive one in the CM Ledesma help him in the tackles but also keep the ball ticking for us make yourself an option look to play long balls at times to Sterling who will make runs between the LB and CB. Don't push too forward unless we need a goal later on in the game.
Sterling and Draxler are our widemen here I want Sterling to use the width of the pitch beating his man and getting crosses into the box for our strikers vary your crosses far/near/hard/low so the opposition are always guessing. Draxler when you get forward use your dribbling and passing skills come inside link up with the strikers Gibbs will support you by giving you the width outside look to use him at times. I want both my wingers to track back helping the FB.

Vellios game today is all about upsetting the Chorizo defenders and bullying them use your height and size to knock them around create space for Huntelaar today by being annoying and getting in the way of the defenders be aware of crosses from wide men and try and get onto the end of it. Huntelaar use your movement and natural attacking instincts to get away from your man and into goal scoring positions always stay on the move, look for the spaces that Vellios will look to open up for you and hurt the opposition.

GENERAL PLAN:
This is a change of formation and tactics, which will surprise the opposition and give us the advantage. We’re playing a solid back four to deal with Brescia’s forwards and wingers, Tiote as a holding DM to break up the play and to spring the counter, and an attacking forward five of Debuchy, Gerrard, Parker, Ben Arfa and Ba to catch Brescia on the break. Our team will get stuck in physically, bully the opponent off the ball, close them down in possession, then hit them on the break with pace and numbers.
FC No Respek tactics:
GK - Foster – let the CBs know if you can claim the ball or if there is danger lurking around. Parry shots away from danger, try to catch the ball but punch to distance if you need to.

DM - Tiote – you have two jobs: to get stuck in and put them off their game physically, and to keep the ball moving – get the ball to Gerrard/Parker, and get Debuchy and Ben Arfa in down the flanks.
CM – Gerrard – you have one task today. Unlock the defence and win the game! I want you to be creative, attack at will, get balls forward to Ba and wide to the wingers, and unleash your shot from distance when space opens up.
CM – Parker – you are our linchpin today. Get stuck in to your opponents, don’t let them settle, take the ball off their midfielders and release it with a quick pass. I want you to be a colossus defensively, and to support your teammates going forward.

Attack mainly down the flanks - Verratti to dictate play from a deeper lying playmaker role. We get the ball to the wingers for them to attack the full backs/wing back area, getting in the space behind when they are forward, running at them when they stay back. Wingers – Get on the ball and run at the FBs/WBs, turning them inside and out. When they get forward, look for the chance to exploit the space left. When our FBs overlap, make space for them by coming inside. If Tevez is closely marked, he will move into wider positions, and we want you to move into the space he leaves behind. Defensively press the ball as soon as we lose it, as high up the pitch as possible. We want to win it back as quickly as possible.
Forwards – Tevez playing a free role today moving into where you can find space. Get on the ball as much as possible and create chances. We have put out a strong side today as we want to win. A key part of our game plan is to keep Cazorla under pressure at all times. He is a key player for them and giving him no time on the ball means he can't instigate their attacks. Michu is also dangerous with his runs and needs to be watched.
DEFENSE
If Cazorla plays centrally, then Casemiro should mark him tightly and not allow him any time on the ball. Don't let him shoot or go on runs. If he plays wide, then the opposing full back should constantly get forward to make the most of the space which will be left as he is forced to track back into his own half where is he less dangerous. Michu could play behind a striker and if he does then we should make sure we play a deepish line to prevent him breaking free with his pace. Also get tight to him through Bender if he tries to make runs through the centre. Mertesacker should be the marker of the main striker, he is strong in the air and experienced so don't allow him to win any headers or get into dangerous positions unmarked. Control the defensive line. Albiol should help out defensively where necessary. If Montolivo plays he will try spraying balls everywhere from deep so Mandzukic should try to put some pressure on him using his high work rate.
ATTACK
Shaqiri and Gaitan can destroy their full backs today. Sometimes cut inside, sometimes go wide and get the ball in, leave them guessing. Rafinha and Schmelzer should both also get forward to double up on their full backs, completely dominate the wide positions. Ensure plenty of crosses get into the box as Kießling and Mandzukic can bully their centre backs in the air today. Score from the headers. Mandzukic is the quicker of the two, should look to make runs across the defense while Kießling should stand between the two centre halves, act as a target man and win all of the headers. Casemiro should look to make late runs into the box and take shots.

Toulalan – to sit deep and protect the back four. Cover the full backs when they go forward. Drop back alongside the CBs when the FBs bomb on, particularly covering the LB by picking up any threat from their wide left.
Verratti and Cabaye – both will play box to box. Defensively support Toulalan in protecting the back four, sweeping up in front when Toulalan has dropped alongside the CBs. Press the two more forward thinking CMs in the Chorizo team, not giving them any time on the ball. Offensively, get to the edge of the box for anything that gets cleared.
Kroos – play in the hole. Get the ball off the CMs and defence and look to feed either of the strikers, or the overlapping FBs. Keep moving! If you get marked closely, move the marker away and allow Tevez to drop into the hole. Defensively, press the DM and stop any supply to the CMs

Team Talk: After securing the league last week we turn our attention to the cup. We have taken the cup seriously all season and today is no different, with this in mind we have gone with an attacking 4-1-4-1 formation. Brescia have one of the best midfields in the league and this has been strengthened further by the sneaky signing of Kroos. Our central three of Sandro, Isco and Mkhitaryan are to work together to play simple football before releasing Callejón and Tello at the full backs who are the weak spot of the Brescia side.
Caballero - Be strong in your area and claim the high balls.
Azpilicueta/Monreal - Stay back and make sure we are never overrun. Be careful in overcommitting and look for the simple passes to our wingers. Pick up Tevez when he drifts wide.
Mangala/Domínguez - Make sure Tevez's movement is watched and communicate to the fullbacks if he drifts wide. Domínguez to cover Tevez when he is central. Mangala can then use his pace to cover any runners from deep (Kroos most likely).
Sandro - Sitting in front of the backfour it is imperative that you break up the Brescia play, if we prevent the likes of Cabaye playing then our job will be made sufficiently easier. When we get the ball look for simple passes to Isco and Mkhitaryan.
Isco/Mkhitaryan - You're both playing ahead of Sandro but this doesn't mean you can shirk your defensive duties. Isco, you have shown this season for Malaga that you can do the defensive side as well. With this in mind when we don't have the ball I want you to close down Verratti and prevent him from pulling the strings. When we have the ball you can both overload whomever they have in the DCM position. Play simple football before getting it out wide to the wingers.
Tello/Callejón - As stated in the team talk Brescia are relatively weak at fullback, with this in mind you two can run wild. Alternate between going outside to whip in crosses for Soldado and driving inside into the space that he creates. When you come inside look for the simple passes to Isco and Mkhitaryan as we pass around their CBs and bamboozle their defence.
Soldado - Use your great movement to create room for Tello/Callejón/Isco/Mkhitaryan to operate within. Also look to get on the crosses that come in when Tello/Callejón go wide. Finally shoot whenever you get a sniff, at the end of the day you are the leading scorer in the league and in the cup. Confirm that you are the best striker in the league.

Team Talk: The cup semi and the biggest game of our season so far. We are without our natural striker so we're mixing it up with a fluid front three that will hopefully link up and be difficult to pin down between the lines. We want to be quick and incisive with the ball and we are happy giving space out wide and looking to control the centre.
Perin: Strong game, speak up, organise and come for balls to take the pressure off. Quick distribution - look to move us forward fast.
De Sciglio/Di Silvestri: Both of you to split between attack and defence, so support us going forward but not much into the final third. Defensively stand your man up show him on to his weaker side and don't allow him to beat you easily.
Evans/Reid: Both of you mark in your zones today, and don't follow men short. We need to keep the spine solid and that means stick to your guns and get rid of anything that they try and get in the box.
Biglia: Centre of the midfield three, and the man that will be deepest. Be intelligent in your positioning and look to make interceptions and break up the play. Lay the ball off short to the creative boys.
Marchisio: A hybrid role between attack and defence, I want you to go box to box and support the attack and the defensive efforts. Drive forward with the ball and look to get our front three into the game. Don't waste possession, you have two other centre mids with you.
Hernanes: Sit a little deeper than normal today and look to dictate play from deep. You have three classy players ahead that will be making runs and moving for you so look to unpick the defence with passes. Position yourself smartly in defence or at least try to be a body in the way.
Insigne/El Sharaawy/Reus: Not quite a false nine today, but close enough. All three of you are good with the ball and running at people so I want you to do that when the opportunity is there. All three should look to link with each other and be constantly on the move, interchanging. Don't let the defence rest and pick you up - so drop deep, drift outside, inside, wherever there is space to cause problems. Between the three of you and Hernanes, I expect to see plenty of penetrating passes today, so take the risk in their final third and try and hurt them.

Team Talk: Here we are then lads the cup final, we are on the brink of a famous double so lets make that a reality today. Atlanta are a dangerous side especially with Reus and El Sharaawy. If this pair are deployed wide then Monreal and Azpilicueta to do the job and make sure that they are forced out wide where they are far less dangerous. If either is played more centrally then Domínguez to pick them up and mark them out of the game. Going forward lets play our beautiful passing football with Isco and Mkhitaryan to alternate as to who is in the hole and overload their dcm(s). Caballero: Command your box, look to get the ball out quickly so we can break
Azpiliceuta/Monreal: As stated in the team talk if Reus/El Sharaawy play out wide then it is your job to mark them into obscurity. Force them out wide before taking the ball and allowing us to break.
Mangala/Domínguez: Domínguez to pick up either Reus or El Sharaawy if they play centrally, otherwise to pick up their central striker (Martinez/Sobiech). This will allow Mangala to use his natural pace to sweep and pick up any runs from deep. Make sure you communicate as to where their threats are at all times.
Beñat: Play the DCM role when they have the ball and stick to their CAM/SS (if they play one). When we are defending you will have Mkhitaryan and Isco dropping back in order to ensure we are never outnumbered. When we have the ball look for the simple passes to Isco/Mkhitaryan or to the wingers. We have a plethora of attacking talent on display so lets exploit that.
Mkhitaryan/Isco: Alternate as to who is in the hole and who is playing slightly further back. Atlanta may play two DCM's in Gago and Biglia (or potentially Bradley). If they do then use your creative tendancies to play in Callejón/Tello or just dominate them between the pair of you. The wingers will be cutting inside so look to link up and pass our way into a scoring opportunity. Make sure when they have the ball you get back.
Callejón/Tello: I want you to predominately cut inside to link up with Mkhitaryan/Isco in the space that Soldado's natural movement has provided us with all season. Occasionally however I want you to drive outside to bamboozle Atlanta's fullbacks. When you do this look to whip in a ball for Soldado to get his head on. When they have the ball track their fullbacks so that we don't get outnumbered.
Soldado: Use your movement to create the room for our attacking quartet behind you to operate within as well as giving them and option to pass our way past their defence. If you get a sniff then have a shot as you've been prolific all season.

Team talk: A big game today against arguably the best side in the whole league. They can hurt you if they get time on the ball, so I want you to be aggressive and in their faces, particularly in the middle. We are going to attack the game in the same way and be pacey and direct with the football; width will come from the full backs.
Perin - Keep it simple, clear the danger and don't try a Cruyff turn or I'll cut you.
De Sciglio/Rat - Both to provide width going forwards today, so support attacks up to the final third. Don't neglect the defence though and when we lose it, funnel back to position and resume jockeying them and giving them no space. Don't go to ground unless it is a last ditch option.
Coloccini/Evans - Experienced heads for big games, so keep it simple and be a calming influence in the spine. You have protection ahead of you so don't get dragged away by strikers dropping off - let them go and stay rigid in the back line. Communicate with each other and watch for runners trying to break beyond the midfield lines.
Gago/Biglia - They have a very talented set of ball players in the middle, so I'm playing you both to both get at them and not let them settle into a rhythm, and also because you are capable of picking passes. When we need to slow the game and kill some clock, get on the ball and play calmly. When we are attacking however, I want you moving it on quickly and utilising the attacking options in the middle and out wide. Cover for the full backs if they are up field.
Marchisio - Important role for you, I need you all action. When we're defending I want you buzzing around the ball and trying to disrupt their passing flow, and when we get it I want you to drive forward and at the very least win the territorial battle.
Hernanes/Reus - Both creative talents, and I want you to be just off the main striker. Look to get on to the ball and fashion chances, or even opportunities to shoot. Don't be static and don't feel confined to the middle - you can drift around the final third to where the space is. When we lose the ball, try and get at their DMs as soon as possible. Anything you can do to disrupt the flow will be valuable.
El Shaarawy - Nominally the striker today, but you have more to you than a straight centre forward. Drift to space, seek the ball and work with the AMs behind you to pick the locks where you can. Dribbling and shooting is encouraged.

Alright, cup game and we come up against a very strong side. Going to have to out-compete them if we're going to nick anything here and probably
We're going to be solid when they have the ball, and break with pace and purpose. Utilise Benteke's physical threat as a focal point to build around, and feed the Wing backs on the flanks from there.
Cesar: Communication key, be loud.
Ferdinand/Vertonghen: Cover your FB if they get forward, be aware if Dawson gets tight to cover the space he leaves in behind. Pick up a second striker if one plays. Bring the ball out if possible.
Dawson: Get tight to the main striker and get physical. Be aggressive, don't let him settle you have cover in behind.
Piszczek/Alba: You have cover to bomb on and give us width when we have the ball, take on your man and get balls into the box for Benteke. Get back in when we don't have it.
Iturraspe: Cover in the midfield to pick up a deeper midfielder if he pushes up. Look to cover Isco with Kondogbia and squeeze room for a pass. When we get it make yourself available and instigate our attacks.
Kondogbia: Get rough with Isco, make him remember you. Get tight to him and stop him getting at our defense.
Pogba: Box to box, look to disrupt their deep passers when they have it. When we get it look to link between the defense and the attack and arrive from deep to evade markers.

Team Talk: We went all the way to the final last season and Im determined to go one better this season. We're playing a rapidly improving Spanish Bank FC who I'd imagine will play 5 at the back with wingbacks. In the middle of the park we have the big men of Matuidi and Sissoko who I want to disrupt their play. This will then allow us to exploit their wingbacks being too adventurous with the pace and skill of Ménezand Tello. Isco is to operate in the gap between their midfield and back three with Soldado roaming as to not allow any of their center backs to settle. Lets play our usual passing game and keep the pace up.
Caballero - Be strong in the air, they will be playing Benteke up front so make sure you communicate where he is
Gámez/Azpiliceuta - Bank will be playing fullbacks both of whom love to get forward, with that in mind I want you to curb your attacking instincts. This will cause them to come forward more and hence provide room for our superb wide men to operate in. Don't let your concentration drop!
Varane/Garay - Garay to mark Benteke and be strong against the big man. He is their focal point so if we keep him quiet we will win the game. Varane to sweep and use his youth to combat the runners from deep. You are both great in the air which will nerf the impact of crosses from their wingbacks.
Matuidi - I want you to be big and strong all game, predominately pick up Herrera (their CAM), Pogba will also be going box to box so if he gets close to you rough him up as he won't appreciate that. Being physical will work against their midfield.
Sissoko - Box to box today for you where I want you to drive us forward. When we have the ball I want you bursting forward to support Isco and offer another option, this will prevent whoever is marking you from picking you up. In defense get back alongside Matuidi and be physical when required. Keep the energy up and disrupt the Bank's play.
Tello/Ménez - With bank having attacking wingbacks there will be room for you to operate in behind. Get in a position to whip in crosses for Soldado, Isco and Sissoko to get on the end of. Occasionally I want you to drive inside to link up with Isco to pass our way around their defence. We are also going to continue with our policy from last week of swapping wings every so often as this will prevent their wingbacks from settling on you as they won't move with you. Just by being there their wingbacks will have to think twice before leaving you alone when they attack.
Isco - Key role as you have every week! Operate between the lines and utilise Soldado and Sissoko to pass it around whoever is given the unenviable task of marking you. Play the cute balls through to Tello and Ménez who will be available out wide. If you get in a position outside the box then have a pop.
Soldado - Roam between each of Banks (presumably) three center backs, this will prevent any of them from settling on you. Utilise your great movement to provide room for Isco to operate in and Sissoko to drive into. You won the golden boot in the cup last season for a reason, so lets grab a couple today!

TACTICAL SUMMARY:
Last season we got to the quarter finals of the Cup. I think you lads are capable of even greater things than that! FC Elphick will have several familiar faces – I want you to get one over your former teammates by playing a possession game to stretch the opposition and to create space for our front four of Lamela, Eriksen, Zaha and Defoe. Wanyama will sit as the DM to break up play, Montolivo will act as playmaker, and Debuchy and Shaw will support the flanks.
INDIVIDUAL INSTRUCTIONS:
GK - Butland – let the CBs know if you can claim the ball or if there is danger lurking around. Parry shots away from danger, try to catch the ball but punch to distance if you need to.
LCB - Chiellini – you will pick up the main striker. Keep tight on him, don’t let him settle, if he moves then move with him. Make sure you don’t dive in - keep him at bay until Bonucci can come across to dispossess him.
CCB - Bonucci – you will pick up the second striker (if there is one). If they play with one forward, you will sit slightly deeper than Chiellini, covering for him and ensuring the rest of the defence know their jobs.
LB - Shaw – I want you to concentrate on your defensive duties today. You can’t be beaten for pace, so keep tight on the winger, force him wide and block the cross.
RB - Debuchy – ensure that their LW is nullified – keep him on the outside, get physical on him, and make sure that going forward you support Lamela.
DM - Wanyama – you have two jobs: to get stuck in and put them off their game physically, and to keep the ball moving – get the ball to Eriksen or Montolivo, and get Lamela and Zaha in down the flanks. Be wary of anyone playing in the hole – if the opponents play an AM, stick to him tight and don’t let him play.
Playmaker – Montolivo – your job is to sit deep, control the play, support the attack, get crosses in. You have a great range of passing – use it to feed the wingers, get the ball slid in for Defoe’s runs at goal, and use Eriksen whenever he’s free.
AM – Eriksen – I want you to sit between the defence and midfield – if they play a DM, drift into space and get on the ball. You are a creative player so attack the defence, drop deep, move wide, do whatever you have to get the opposition confused. Your main task is to get balls forward to Defoe and wide to the wingers, and unleash your shot from distance when space opens up.
RW – Lamela – today is your debut, and it’s against your former club. Make them regret letting you go! I want you to beat their LB today, get on the ball and attack him, take him on, beat him, then look to cut inside and get a shot off or play a ball into Defoe. You have great pace and ability, show your old team what they’re missing!
LW – Zaha – it’s your debut for us Wilfried – let’s show the world how talented you are! I want you to get on the ball and beat the RB, then get into the box and tee up Defoe, Eriksen or Lamela. You can be the difference today!
ST - Defoe – I want you to keep the CBs confused so keep moving, and make plenty of diagonal runs across them. Your teammates will use of the space you create, so make sure you drag defenders with you, and get into the box for crosses and half-chances.
FC No Respek subs:
If winning after 75mins: Ba for Defoe. No change in tactics, merely fresh legs to take advantage of their tired defence.
If drawing after 75mins: Camacho for Wanyama. Fresh legs on the pitch, allow Montolivo to get forward more, and get Shaw and Debuchy to attack more down the flanks.
If losing after 75mins: Ba and Totti for Montolivo and Zaha. Move to a 4-1-3-2 formation but with a sense of urgency and directness installed throughout the midfield and attack.

TACTICS
Today we should look to attack. We want to win by as many goals as we can so we should get plenty of players supporting Kießling who should lead the line as a target man. Look to dominate possession with a five man midfield.
DEFENSE
Rossi and Adebayor are both players who have pace but are massively out of form. Look to nip in and quickly nab the ball if they try playing low passes. If only one striker plays, Djourou should be the main marker of the striker and use the height advantage to win anything in the air, with Godin in behind sweeping up. Haidara and Jung are both quick players and should use that pace to match the wingers, force them wide where they can make less damage.
Kehl and Hughes should provide stability in midfield to absorb the attacks. Xhaka will surely play and he can provide a threat with his passing, so if he sits deep Kagawa should look to pressure him and if he goes higher up the pitch Kehl should go fliying in with tackles and not allow him an inch. Boateng and Marin will both work hard and track back for the team, stopping Nagatomo and Matheiu from getting forward and putting them under pressure.
ATTACK
Boateng and Marin should cut inside at every opportunity and run at the defense, especially Puyol who isn't as quick as he was and Kagawa and Hughes should also get forward and do the same. Both are good passers of the ball and should look to make something happen, find the killer ball. They can swap positions at will, Hughes getting higher to support Kießling and Kagawa playing passes from deep. Jung and Haidara should both look to get forward in support, covered by Kehl.
Kießling should be a target man in the box and get on the end of crosses and balls in. Try to knock it down to the supporting players to finish off the chances. You are joint top scorer this season with Mandzukic for a reason. Be clinical in front of goal and shoot on sight.
SUBSTITUTIONS
If winning bring on Cleverley and Shaqiri for Kagawa and Boateng. A couple of changes in midfield to freshen things up. Hughes should get further up the field in a free role supporting Kießling. Shaqiri should take on his man and get balls into the box.
If drawing/losing bring on Mandzukic and Pato for Marin and Kehl. Move to an attacking 4-3-3 and look to overload their two centre backs with three players. In midfield be dynamic, take it in turns going forward with one sitting and the other two attacking.

Team Talk: We need a win today to give us a chance of progressing in the cup, with that in mind we are going quite attacking with fullbacks who like to get forward. Matuidi to cover this as well as picking Dembele which he did fantastically in our league match last week. Ménez and Tello to really get at their fullbacks as this is somewhere we can dominate. Isco to get forward as much as possible to aid Soldado against one of the best cb partnership in the league. Sissoko to burst forward and prevent their midfield from settling.
Cabellero - Control the box and claim any crosses that come in. Release the ball quickly to the fullbacks
Azpliceuta/Eliseu - Alternate who gets forward but make sure you get back to ensure we are never outnumbered. When you get forward overlap our wingers and deliver dangerous crosses into Soldado and Isco. If we dominate the wings we will win today!
Garay/Varane - I have a feeling Marky will go with Lukaku, with this in mind Varane to mark him. Use your great positioning to prevent Lukaku from settling, he might be in great form in real life but so are you. Garay to pick up their cam (if they play one) or the second striker. Stay strong in the air and communicate between yourselves to ensure that we have a solid foundation to build from.
Matuidi - As mentioned in the team talk you are on Dembele marking duty again! On top of this I want you to keep an eye out to cover for our fullbacks when they get forward. Use your strength and power to win the ball and either get it wide or to Isco
Sissoko - Box to box again this week. When they have the ball get back alongside Matuidi to form a very solid and imposing two in front of our back four. As soon as we win the ball back look to get forward, basically I want you and Isco nibbling just behind Soldado. Get the ball wide where we can really hurt them.
Isco - First of all they are bound to try and mark you, I want you to drift a bit more forward than normal in the room that Solado's movement provides us with. Feel free to drift wide and link up with the wingers if you see the opportunity. Keeping moving will be key. Sissoko will be getting up alongside you so we should have a 2 on 1 situation on whoever is sent to mark you. Finally look for cute balls out wide or through to Soldado
Ménez/Tello - We can really hurt them today. Alternate between going to the byline and drifting inside in the gap between their FBs and CBs. You are two of the best wingers in the league so win the game for us today. Our FBs will be getting forward as an option out wide, when you release them burst into the box as another option for the cross.
Soldado - Drift between Hummels and Howedes so that neither of them can settle on you, feel free to try and pull them out of position as this will be perfect for Isco to operate in and Sissoko to burst into. Most importantly ensure that you are first to any crosses that come in, of which there will be a plethora! I want you to send us through to the next round.

Manager’s note: A repeat of last week’s League game, we have Deportivo la Chorizo in the Cup. Today will be a different approach. I want us to have a real go at them, exploit their weaknesses with pace and power upfront in Lukaku. They also won’t be expecting two strikers upfront.
Kaminski, command your area, stay in communication with your defence, use the fullbacks and midfielders dropping deep to begin attacks with the wingers and the ball over the top as an option.
Hummels/Howedes, Soldado is your main target, I want Hummels to be all over him, give him no chance to turn and shoot, force him deeper into areas he struggles in, Howedes to be the one who cleans up and stops any runs into the area from Isco.
Iraola/Fuchs, force their winger wide, don’t let him inside. Use your head and don’t dive in. Let him dribble into no-man’s land, close down any crosses and occasionally support the wingers when we have the ball. Get crosses in early when you get forward.
Toulalan/Obiang, when we don’t have the ball I want you both to be wary of Isco and any advancing midfielders. When we have the ball I want Obiang to be box to box and bring the ball forward, look to pass to the wingers and strikers.
Navas/Costa, without the ball drop back to RM and LM in a 4-4-2, but when we have the ball I want you to burst forward, look to catch their fullbacks out, get crosses into the area for Lukaku and Berbatov, but also look to cut inside and link up with each other. Get shots in if you can.
Lukaku/Berbatov, work as a partnership, Lukaku to be the big man, hold up play, make runs in behind and bully your way through their defenders. Berbatov to be the link man, drop deep into the hole and either shoot or pass to Lukaku or either winger making a run. Both get into the area when crosses coming into the box.

Def: Lots of communication needed along are back four, soak up the long balls that i played and make sure they are not allowed to break through, keep the line tight and clear any loose balls, dont allow there players to beat you and push them about and make sure you give them a lot of hassle , beware of there crosses and make sure they are given limited space to move freel, we also have Carrick and Motolivo to help the defense out so i want them to stay there and help instead of being involved with the counter attack.
Attack: : Plays will be created through the wings, which have a lot of pace, this is where we can hit them by using this to are advantage, if we are pushed out them lay the ball into the middle for one or whip in crosses in to our strikers who will get there head on it, Loose balls will need picking up which we could use , make sure your makers are put into a lot of pressure, we will all so use Eriksen and the wings for counters as we can break fast to get the ball to defoe to header or through balls for him, look to take a shot if you see the chance but be clinical with the finishing.

Team Talk: Last season we topped this group with ease lets do it again. I want to start of with a win and I believe we can with this side.
KEEPER
Dominate your area shout early if you can claim try to catch ball but punch if you have to. If you can't hold a shot try and parry it away from danger, make yourself big and goal look small stand your ground make the attacker blink first.
DEFENDERS
When we are attacking I only want one of my FB to push forward, make overlapping runs to create space for wingers. When defending watch the ball and don't dive in unless you can win ball, jockey your man and push him on the outside and try and get in the way of crosses.
Rami will pick up main striker you have the power and speed to match him don't give him time to settle on ball shoulder barge him knocking him of his stride don't go out wide if he does watch his runs behind you get up nice early for long balls you are very good at that. Boateng pick up the SS/AM watch for runs or flick ons if he plays deep he will look to make through balls get in the way block them intercept them. I feel our defence is fast enough so we will push up trying to make them camp in thier own half.
MIDFIELD
Ledesma and Gundogan will play slightly deep working as a unit to make things tick for us both will to pick up thier men putting pressure on them forcing them backwards, try to read the game intercepting the ball or closing down options for them. Ledesma will look to use his range of passing to get our wingers through or passes for strikers to run on to. Always keep the ball ticking and make yourself an option to pass. Gundogan keep it simple short snappy passes keep the ball moving and try and snuff out their attacks.
Sterling has pace so I want him to stretch the defence look to get inside the LB and CB Ledesma will look to play you in there other times give us width and look to get constant crosses in for our strikers use tricks and skills to beat your man run at him make him commit. Draxler more of a dribbler look to use your passing to link up with others coming inside linking up play and getting into box at times use width to get crosses in. I want both my wingers to track back and help FB.
STRIKERS
Quaglirella keep it simple when you get the ball look to pass it on and move into box stay on the move at all times use your great movement to get into goal scoring positions you are very good in air so we have crosses coming in for you. Farfan look to open thier defence with runs inbetween both CB going slightly wide at times creating space for others, you have a wonderful shot on you and if you have a chance use it. Quaglirella will knock ball on gamble an make the run link up together.

Wisdom/Jagielka: Don't let our FBs get doubled up on, be aware to cover. Watch Quagilarella's movement, he has an annoying knack of being in the right place so cut off the supply.
Godin: Get physical with Quagliarella, keep him goalside, you have cover. Watch his movement and anticipate the supply before it reaches him.
Carvajal/Schmelzer: Disciplined play today, don't leave us vulnerable when they have the ball. Watch the overlap, theres cover behind. When we get it, push up the field and get at their FBs, they aren't great defensively. Remember to drop back in quickly.
Bender: Help cover the midfield threats, if Holtby pushes up take him. When we have it control the tempo, get us moving from deep, feed Boateng/Cabaye and the wing backs.
Hughes: Drop back in to make a 3 when we lose it, help disrupt their passing moves and cramp the space. When we get it push and take advantage of the space left by Boateng and influence the play.
Cabaye: Take Gundogan when he pushes up, don't let him get a free look at goal or get his head up. Disrupt them, make them make quick decisions with it.
Boateng: Free role, drift to the space and lose your marker so you can pick it and run at goal. Work a shot or feed Mandzukic or the wing backs. Play goes through you, however if they assign a couple to you, act as a decoy and open up space for others.
Mandzukic: You can dominate their CBs physically, get on top of them make it hard for them. Hold it up and big others into play or look to get onto the end of crosses.

We are looking to secure our passage to the next round so we're going with a strong side, geared towards attacking and incisive football. The three AM/wingers will be key today and it will be the job of the CMs to supply them the ball so they can attack the backline and create chances for themselves and each other.
Leali - Come for what you can catch, position your defence and keep the pace up with quick distribution.
Rat/Di Silvestri - Deliberately more solid in defensive areas than attack, I am happy for you to support to the half way line, but no further. They have a lot of pacey talented attackers so I want you on the proverbial "rope" with your other defenders making us tough to break down. Stand players up, slow their attacks and don't let them take you out of the game.
Vidic/Dante - Probably my best CB pair. Big and imposing, and I want you to use your physicality on the forwards. Chances are they will be nifty with the ball so don't commit to many tackles and give yourself a yard. If a ball is in the air win it at all costs and show them who's boss.
Biglia - Sit deep in front of the back four and sweep up in front of them. Try and intercept or nick the ball away and get it quickly to our attackers to get at them.
Verratti - Also sat relatively deep, but further forwards than Biglia when we're on the attack. Always be available for a pass and keep us moving when you have it. Try and feed the players ahead of you.
El Sharaawy/Mertens - Both very talented with the ball at your feet, so that's what we'll try and give to you. The full backs will likely try and push you outside but if you see their body shaped that way, cut the ball back inside and try and get past them. I don't mind you losing the ball up there so keep trying to beat your men. If Cassano or Reus have the ball, get yourselves behind the line and push the defence back.
Reus - Just behind Cassano but not as a rule. When we have the ball look to get into areas to cause them problems and if Cassano comes short link with him and make runs over the top for him to get it to you. Fearsome striker of a football so if they are sat off, hit one and see how it goes.
Cassano - Up top, but I want you to also be active coming a little deeper. When you do so Reus and the wingers will accelerate up ahead of you so use your brain and your passing to unlock them. When the ball is out wide, dart into the box and poach something. Preferrably a goal, but eggs are fine.

Today we are trying to play the Barca way!
Defensively, we press high up the pitch and win the ball back quickly before the opposition can even think about how to attack. We work hard and chase everything! Motta sits and protects the back four with assistance from Pirlo and Marchisio to allow the FBs to bomb on.
Offensively, we are playing with three skillfull, fast forwards who will keep moving. We predict big strong, rather than mobile CBs from Atalanta, so it will be short sharp pass and move. Pirlo will dictate the tempo and we will keep possession, keep passing stretching the opposition until a space is created and then we pounce. The FBs will provide the width and overlap the forwards
Keeper Stand tall, come for crosses that are close to you making them need to aim crosses further out. Distribute short as much as possible. Be on your toes for balls in behind the defence and sweep them up.
Full backs You are part of a unit, so keep your shape and defend together. Pick up any wide players , keep tight and force them to cross from wide and deep as much as possible. The as soon as you have the chance, get forward, support the attack, overlapping and getting low balls in between keeper and defence.

Playing a strong 4-2-3-1 today to get at Spanish Bank and win to ensure qualification. Remember, scoring goals is the only way to give ourselves a chance of progression as a 0-0 rules us out.
Prieto, command your area, stay in communication with your CB’s, watch for long shots and use the fullbacks as an outlet.
Hummels/Luiz, be commanding, if they play 1, 2 or 3 forwards, you have the ability to cope. In possession, use the ball wisely, feed the CM’s who have the ability to cause real problems for them. Play a decent line, not too high and not too deep.
Zabaleta/Nagatomo, work the flanks, when we have the ball get forward but don’t overcommit and ensure you are back to cover the wide players. Zabaleta, very likely you’ll be up against Jordi Alba, you have the knowhow to stop him and as soon as you dispossess him, pass to Navas as Alba will be out of position.
Bigirimana/Mkhitaryan, sit deep and cause them problems with your passing, but I want Mkhitaryan to showcase his marauding runs from midfield, get into their half and create space and opportunities for those in front of you. Bigirimana to sit infront of the back four and protect the CB’s from anyone breaking from midfield.
Susaeta/Afellay, when in possession, run at their defence, get crosses into the box for Lukaku and also cut inside to shoot or pass and link with Pjanic. Swap wings occasionally to keep their fullbacks guessing. Use the fullbacks overlapping. When we don’t have the ball, drop back alongside Bigirimana and Mkhitaryan to form a 4-4-1-1, but be quick to get forward again once we’re attacking.
Pjanic, playing in the hole, I want you to link with the wingers, midfield and Lukaku upfront. Don’t be afraid to shoot and dribble, with a Bank DM following you feel free to drop deep and even swap with Mkhitaryan on occasion as it leaves a space for Mkhitaryan to run into if the DM tracks you.
Lukaku, our lone striker, do your best to not be isolated, hold the ball up and feed the wingers and midfielders or turn and shoot. Escape the centre back to be free in the area as there will be crosses coming into the box from the wingers and fullbacks who will be looking for you.

Ferdinand: Cover Vertonghen if only one striker plays, otherwise take the 2nd striker.
Alba/Piszscek: Look to push up when possible and support attacks 1 at a time. If wingers play keep them outside and dont let them cut in.
Kondogbia: Sit in front of the back 4 and shield them rather than picking someone up specifically
Strootman: Get into the face of their ball player, press him and dont give him time to think. Look to feed the forward player and make runs from deep.
Front 4: Constantly rotate positions, out wide utilise the FB overlap, go inside and outside. Up front 1 plays onto the shoulder of the last man, while the other drops deeper and utilises space.

LM+RM, get down thr flanks whip balls into bony or look to play throughthe wingers, use them to doube up on the outside, look also to get it inside to the CMS, remebr to get back, mark there wingers wehn defending but look to break immidiatly
CMs, box to box, look to get stuck in immidialt, each pick up a man and deal with him, look to make bursting runs down the middle, be powerful, look to play it wide or through to the attackers, oif it opens up shoot.
Wingers, free role, get wide or come in, run at the FBs or CBs , draw there attenion and play to a team mate, or get the ball into bony in attacking position, get back on occasion but always be somewhat forward and ready to break.
ST Bony, loom to be a force , get on the end of crosses or make runs, just get into positions, look to hold it up and play to a teammate, stay forward constantly and act as an outlets.

In need of a five goal win to qualify and we are going to go out there and do our damdest to win this game by a long way. Fight for every ball and attack everything, play with an intensity and get every single fan in the stadium behind us.
DEFENSE
Tasci is tasked with man-marking their main striker, presumably Huntelaar. Do not let him have the space to get the shot away and stick to him like glue. Look to win every header and smash the ball clear. Mascherano should support, full of energy in the box and should watch for runners from midfield, chopping them down and getting the ball away. Debuchy and Matheiu are dealing with young wingers today. Jockey them wide and do not let any crosses come in. Both full backs are quick and should use that to match them. When we get the ball be quick to play it forward.
Xavi and Leitner need to work hard to protect the back four, make sure that the likes of Holtby and Draxler have no time on the ball to make things happen. Make sure there is no space for them to play and force them to try long balls.
ATTACK
Get plenty of men forward at every opportunity. We need goals and this is the only way to do so. Mascherano should fill in as a DM and the full backs should get forward at every opportunity. Xavi has the freedom to go forward or stay back, just pick out passes all day and be an option. Take long range shots. Leitner is in a box to box role today. Run everywhere and try to cause disruption. Gnabry and Podolski are playing as inside forwards. Get inside as much as possible as the full backs provide the width. Support Yilmaz in attack by stretching their centre backs and make them chase you uncertainly. Yilmaz should be the leader upfront, get on the end of headers, be clinical in front of goal, plenty of intelligent runs. You need to score a few today. Parker will join as a striker when we attack making runs across the back four. Have a real go at the centre backs. Rami may be good in the air but lacks pace and Boateng is error prone.
Win as many set pieces as possible, throw Tasci and Matheiu forward as they have the aerial ability to cause problems as well as the forwards in Podolski, Yilmaz and Parker. Get loads of balls in. Xavi will always take set pieces.
SUBSTITUTIONS
If winning by five goals bring on Astori for Podolski. Move Mascherano into midfield alongside Xavi with Leitner playing a more advanced role.
If not winning by five goals then bring on Meier and Astori for Debuchy and Matheiu. Move to three at the back with Meier joining Yilmaz upfront. Score goals. Win game.
