If anything GSC, Saturdays game just reaffirms that he does everything that Paul Scholes does, and then the non-United supporters accept that he does other stuff too. Jack Wilshere = Paul Scholes+

Actually in fairness, Paul Scholes scored goals, which Wilshere needs to add to his game

That's a good point, he never looks scared when on the ball, never rushes it, he's always calm...we really need Arsenal to treat him right and not rush him back.

Still, with his red card he gets a 1 game rest anyway Laugh

No, no Azzy. You musn't say that because you are now implying that he is on the same level as Messi and going to go on to be the greatest player of all time.

It's a shame since he looks the most comfortable English player in possession since Scholes
He is very comfortable on the ball. As Joes Azzymat said, he struggled. IMO too early to chuck him in a big game like that.

Wilshere was brilliant on Saturday, he was making pass after pass to the strikers, link up play was great, fantastic tackling, worked hard, tracked back, supported the attack and defence, Carrick could not get near him and even though it looked like Carrick had Wilshere underwraps it was just Derren Brown messing with out minds because Wilshere is the best player ever and will win Ballon D'or by the time he is 22 because he is already better then Paul Scholes.

I agree with that, and I think I said as much when you asked if he would play on Friday.

He is still rusty and short of the sharpness that he would need against a team like United.

It does show a bit of desperation from Wenger to throw someone so short of match time into such a big game because he is Wilshere and he is more of a potential match winner, even at 75% match fitness, than the other midfield options

So what happens on Mondays again? Everyone asks "when are results", and we all sit here twiddling our thumbs?

I say we move Sheep to Mondays!

Maybe Zebs could give us an update on the predos, so that we all know what we need going into tonight's big game at The Shrine?

Laugh Laugh Laugh

GSC, yes hes a good youngster but as I said last week, I cant rate him. After having 17 months injured there is nothing recently for me to rate him on. He is a talent, always has been. Now hes finally returned maybe he might give me a reson to rate him. But saturday didnt give me any reason too.

I don't think anyone saw Villa winning, or Wigan either. Gonna be tight.

I'm still weighing up my Totti TP. Handy to raise cash, but he scored again at the weekend I noticed and got MotM from Goal.com

http://www.goal.com/en/match/88153/roma-vs-palermo/report

So would be impossible to replace his ability for that amount of cash.

Dilemma of ability of one v building up the squad

I don't think many expected him to get in the side with Llorente there but Llorente decided to fall out with coach and now training with the Youth side so Aduriz is getting game time and if keeps scoring Llorente won't be getting back in

Errr without Wilshire? Arsenal are pretty useless with or without him.

I do agree Joes Azzymat, he was overwhelmed. Ramsey isnt great. Arsenal missing Diaby in the centre maybe. Do you think Wenger has rushed him back into the team?
I was surprised to see him starting considering hes played 1 match since returning.
Glad we kept Carzola quiet, take him out & Arsenal seems to stop ticking quicker than a Rolex from Thailand.

Norwich were the first team to do this Cool

Afro no need for name calling raspberry

I hope this league stays around for years so when Wilshere does not win PFA let alone Ballon D'Or by the age of 22 I can laugh at you and all the Wilshere lovers. Afterall a player better then Scholes can only get better and if he is already better then Scholes at 18 should win Ballon D'Or by 22 easily.

Who do I send my CUp votes to? Do I get extra money for colour coding stuff with bold and italics so its easier for you lot to read. Did Twist add his money from GM 2? Can I add my money for voting for the cup if yes how much can I add?

If Jack Wilshere was already better at the age of 18 then a peak Paul Scholes who is rated as one of if not THE greatest midfielder in Premier League History then Wilshere should go on to become one of the greatest in the world. Ronaldo was not rated better then the likes of Giggs, Ljungberg, Pires at the age of 18 and look where he is now, so going by that Wilshere should be the best player easily.

Ronaldo was not rated better then the likes of Giggs, Ljungberg, Pires at the age of 18 and look where he is now, so going by that Wilshere should be the best player easily.
100% agree!! I reckon by next month Wilshire will be the best player in the world.

I've been playing Fifa on the weekend, destroying people like it's Fifa 1999. Who is up for a match tonight? I guarantee you that I will smash you. Played my friend who has been trash talking me for 2 years first time he played me I beat him with ease and today he complained there was lag. Liar.
Have you sorted your FUT out yet?

Yes I know but Afro said he is better then Scholes but as he hasn't been playing for almost two years we have to go back to the last time he did which was 18 thats why I said an 18 year old Wilshere is better then Scholes.

I believe I got that from The Office. I can't remember, but I always use it if someone beats me at something.
