I will do the injuries for the fan league in a bit. I have a fire drill first then probably some work to do.

I look at teamtalk to get a feel for the general style of play.

I then look at players and formations, including the balance of the side and how I think they will work together.

I then consider the individual instructions, decide who I think will win the individual battles.

Ultimately then my decision is 1/3 players, 1/3 the formation and balance and 1/3 the individual instructions.

I am off to do work.

The Cherries League injuries are up in admin, so once Sod has done his, then they will be up at the same time

First I look at players and formation, then at what the instructions are. Then back at the players and formation to see if I think it will work.

Soddy, how much of that do you base on your own opinion.
eg I dont like that formation so it wont work, im giving a loss.

I dont like that formation but I can see how it works. The managers tactics match up with the setup and he shows how he wants it to work.

I don't have anything against any formation, and I won't base a vote on it in isolation.

If I can see the oppo exploiting it, I will, or if the players within it aren't able to play how they are asked to, I will too.

I'm surprised so many went for Distin actually. Well, 3 people. Reid has been our best defender this year, and he has size and athleticism.

I have a lawyer for him, but I might prefer to sell Distin if you chaps have offers.

I base my votes on the following:

Formation 1 vs Formation 2 (20%)
Players 1 vs Players 2 (30%)
Would the players fit that formation? (20%)
Personal instructions (30%)

So you could have the best formation and the best players, but if you've picked the wrong players for your formation and the opponent has better instructions, it's going to be a draw.

Nice to see my formation thought of as ridiculous, the same formation (and several players matching) that Bilbao used to rip Utd apart in the Euro league last year.

I think ridiculous was probably a bit harsh Hero.

I put my hand up that my comment was the one that felt it was a formation that needed discipline and experience to play, which I felt you lacked a little of across the team

1 goal and 3 assists last night Viva, I had a poor game tho, should of got a hatrick but I fluffed 2 great chances. Thats why I decided to start passing lol and I ended up with 3 assists.

Whilst I very much agree its a risky formation Id say for most of the players involved experience in it is something they have as most of them play it as a unit together in real life and its annoying that Ive got a team in which I regularly play 6 from the same club side yet going up against teams where they've not played in RL together and unity and chemistry isn't considered.

I didn't know, I would have been on if you told me. Champions League tonight? I'll try to be on around 10ish.

I would love to play against you Zidane, I would have you in my pocket all game, I'm like Deadley Ledley, I don't train but come match day I'm ready. After the match my knees swell up and I'm in pain. Old school defender.

We need to set up a 606v2 tournament.

I consider chemistry when looking at the players. But I looked at the spine of your team, which to me is important, and you had Varane, Tiote, Herrera and Rodrigo. To me the spine is important to chemistry as well, as its what the rest of the team works around, and 3 of those 4 do not play in the Bilbao formation and have not played together IRL.

But then I only vote on your cup games

Hero I agree with you and I can see why you made that team but I'm just telling you what I was told in the previous league by managers that they didn't look at the chemsitry or that my players play together in real life. That is why I haven't gone for my players that play in real life anymore, I would have assumed that chemistry would have made a difference. I pick my team on what the majority of people here think of them not what I think. It's all about the votes game, who votes who higher.
