Hon Hon Hon Hon, im sorry to butt in again Bathite but Hon is a legend, he is the best he is god to some of us on here but doing deals like this will lose his status.

Sorry Hon but you have already lost some real quality today, don't lose anymore.

I would agree, I thought the Hon of old loved Thion, and knew the ability of Elsom and Halfpenny.

hon of olds still loves thion and has given Bathite a monster engine room with nallet and thion - i chased pull all over the place trying to get that combo once.

However i have o'connell and bekker which i think is very good now
i also have alberts who in my opinon is an absolute train wreck in the loose, and considering i have hari (much better than elsom) an d hopefully louw on teh way I can afford to loose elsom.

Barrit & Halfpenny I agree is light for Strettle & Henson.
If henson is rated then hes better than halfpenny & strets is an international winger with skill and speed - barritt is up and coming.

its a close deal but I am happy with it.

Im not against players like Alberts everyone knows I rate the guy highly and Bekker is a very good player but...

Im really shocked that you decide to lose probably Wales best winger who can also play full-back in Halfpenny for Strettle, not England quality Ashton, Cueto, Banahan and JSD I would have miles ahead of him.

Henson is just a disgrace and Barritt isn't that bad mate, Alberts is good but the quality of Elsom is too good to let go unless someone like Croft, Read or Juan Smith went your way.

Also Warburton has been fantastic for Wales and in Magners, and for Contepomi who personally I don't rate and has now moved to a mediocre Stade side you have been ripped to shreads.

Really sorry Bathite, but your a very nice guy yourself been very helpful on here to loads of people but most of us would agree those deals are just not right, and because Hon is involved and doing them it's even worse.

Henson is a good replacement for halfpenny - if he gets rated he's a top player and can cover all the positions halfpenny can plus flyhalf.

Strettle is a good cover winger, with habs and banners about.

Alberts for me is a monster - I like Elsom don't get me wrong but I think I will do alright with the backrow I am looking to build on.

I don't think I have lost out that badly?

Henson good replacement for Halfpenny oh dear oh dear oh dear.

Has this travelling affected your rugby knowledge, Henson saga has been dire and sad for Rugby he is overrated and goes in the catergory of overrated players with Habana and Cooper.

Strettle is good cover but good cover only, you would of started Halfpenny and Halfpenny with Habana is a pretty decent wing. Alberts is a monster but nowhere near the level of Rocky Elsom, injured or not he is just too good to let go unless you got Smith, Read or Croft in instead of Alberts.

I don't rate Henson im very opposite as you might of well guessed, I despise the guy.

Henson is like marmite at the moment you either love him or hate him - but one thing is for sure if he starts playing he is a world class talent. That is science fact

as for Elsom if I am honest I think he's a great player and leader but in my opinion there are better out there. Not saying Alberts is, but its a differnt position they specialise in at N8 alberts is a killer and moving Hari to 6/7 where he plays for Biarritz at the moment is good. They guy they haev at N8 has pushed harry to flanker he's that good - - -- ooops said too much as he may be a target for me

Henson was class but he isn't anymore to many problems has affected him, loads think Habana is overrated including myself he hasn't done much this season and has made too many errors and seems to halt his path when a defence goes and shields him.

With Quade he was awesome last year, but has been mediocre this year even though Reds are top, can play a great attacking game but then again he does the odd forward pass, odd passing mistake or his in touch kicks are always poor.

Overrated both of them.

all I can say blogs is that with someone like cooper you have to let them play their own game, they will make mistakes but they are too dangerous not to play them like the greats:

King Carlos and Campazee - they would make terrible mistakes but then they ould rrun the length of the pitch or throw an outrageous pass for a score - too good to leave out - I see cooper like this.

Henson is good enough for the welsh squad, lets see if he plays mate. Then we can judge. He started alright for Toulon in a couple of games. Just his attitude off teh pitch screwed it up.

yeah Lakafia - he is going to be some player I can tell you - at Biarritz he has been destroying the opposition and moved Hari to the flank he's that good a number 8!

He is already in the provisional France World Cup squad. Sam doesn't have him no more so I guess he is up for foreigns via outside bids.

Lakafia is up against Picamoles and Hari though for number 8 probably two better know and equipped players, but Lievremont makes some weird selections like leaving out Jauzion and Poitrenaud.

if Lakafia goes to the WC its as number 8 and with Hari as flanker.

still can't belive Leiveramont has left out chabal - I know some people hate him but he's had a brilliant season and is a talisman and big impact player off the bench. He's like having a 16th man on the pitch for France.
