Yeah, his CM are trying to play football and his CBs and Strikers want to play long ball. Bit of a meshing of styles so I can see why he benched Pirlo. Just a bit too negative having 2 offensive players on the pitch

A Bugatti Veyron drove past us when we were in Monaco in the summer. Apparently 75% of the ones bought are registered there.

Best image, and I have a photo somewhere, was the cars parked outside the Hotel de Paris, which is right opposite the casino. A row of highly expensive cars. Rollers, Bentleys, Lincolns, Ferraris, a Gallardo and there right on the end...A smart car Laugh

When I was in London last week the hotel I was staying at in Kensington must have been the starting point for a vintage car rally to Paris as there were fleets of cars from the 1920's etc there, managed to get loads of cool photos of them all.

Thanks ZZZ.

Torn between him and Bonucci, purely because Bonucci is Italian. Went for ability over Italianess.

Also happy with Toulalan.

If you're going on ability, Bonucci wins over Howedes in my eyes. The guy is cool as a frozen cucumber.

Toulalan has the potential to be outstanding, on his day.

I'll have Defoe for Henry + £6m Zebs OK

Right, I was wondering what the overall value of people's squads are now, 4 weeks in.

I think i am probably behind everyone else as I had a few weeks where I didn't accept lawyers, plus I overpaid to get Tevez and Verratti.

But based on the £125m you started with, where are you at value wise now?

I'm not saying I should of won, because quite frankly Gregers has a better team than I do, but it would be nice for people to recognise I dropped him to fit into my gameplan

Olly - I think people recognise why you did it. They just think it was majorly flawed and a bad move.

ZZZ - Bonucci flits in and out for me. One day he can be brilliant, the next he can be a bit of a mess. I opted for Howedes as I think he is just that bit better and I don't need the extra Italian

This Bonucci love surprises me.

Don't get me wrong, if I had ended up with him instead of Howedes, I wouldn't have been too upset, but I can't see how he is better than Howedes. Feels like another player living off his form from a few seasons ago, a bit like Chiellini.

To be fair I don't have anyone like that this week so I gave them different instructions. Fletcher was a big miss for me, whilst he isn't exactly the quickest he is a predator so he would have been perfect last week

No, I dropped Scholes for Diaby to have more bite at CM, but made up for it with creativity elsewhere on the pitch. You didn't make up for it elsewhere.

Then why drop the best CM you have, who also happens to be the most accurate long passer in your side?

Because Pirlo wasn't athletic enough to go up against two CM's.

Admittedly I dropped Scholes for a similar reason, but I also had width and creative AM's ahead of my midfield.

So you've just admitted you did the same thing that I did Headscratch

No, I dropped Scholes for Diaby to have more bite at CM, but made up for it with creativity elsewhere on the pitch. You didn't make up for it elsewhere.

That's because my gameplan wasn't to be creative Laugh

It was to merely go long ball, if I wanted to be creative I would have played Pirlo or some wingers lol. I wanted to be route 1, direct shizz

Did you even watch England v Italy at Euro 2012?

To be honest ZZZ, £15m is too much for Defoe. Hence his lawyers offer is £11m.

He's a good player, but not worth £15m. If you considered lower bids you'd get a better response.

I didn't realise we were still basing our ratings on what happened at the Euros. Quick lets all buy Balotelli...

I just don't see how Noble is any more athletic than Pirlo.

Sorry Sod, slide tackles or not. Noble is a good player and very underrated, but what does he provide that Pirlo would not. Even Pirlo sticks his boot in

In fairness, Pirlo was up against 2 CMs that run as far as he does nowadays

Don't forget the Spain V Italy game where he bossed the Spaniards.
