Either Des or John Fitzgerald, can't remember which one. Both played prop for Ireland in the 80's.
One of them is Luke Fitz's dad I think.
Gareth Chilcott must be in with a good shout!!!!!

He'd only break it, best have him on the pitch!

How could I forget Eifion Roberts. He had to leave Toulon because he started eating other players.

Bet Ben Tameifuna knows a pie when he sees one, 134kg. Slightly heavier than Rodzilla at 132kg. Rupeni on the wing? He was fast but knew where the pies were stashed.

Ollie le Roux at loose head, he was a round guy.

What about the Welsh prop from early - mid 2000's? Think he was a Welsh islander, used mainly as a sub, but I am sure he'd more than match Dunnings..

Rupeni Caucau...was simply sublime...what a waste of talent...
Was it Gareth Rees who was Canadas FH? He was round.

Surely Steffon "Fat" Armitage has to be there? Likewise, he may have shed a few pounds, but what about Matt Bananaman?

I know a great story about Steve Thompson and being fat! Apparently on an occasion in France he managed to get through £150 worth of McDonalds in one sitting! I'd like to see Adam Richman beat that!

Martyn Madden, yip that's the player, thanks mckay1402. Just love the look on his face everytime he played for Wales, sheer happiness, I mean, how could anyone even think of tackling him with him always looking so cheerful???

There was a Cardiff rfc prop a few years ago who was massive. He went from breakdown to breakdown, was last there and would just lie on the ruck. no idea what his name was but he should defo be in this team

Re: Fattest XV
Cavubati HAS to be there. A buffet slayer if ever there was one.
I know it's all relative but Stephen Donald looked like a bit of a pie in Cruden's shirt during the World Cup Final. Maybe it helped him though, like Kevin Costner in Tin Cup not shanking any more after his coach made him look ridiculous.

Craig Quinnell of Wales at No. 4 - described by Eddie Butler as "the mad hippo" after he ran into and flattened Steve Hanley of England at Wembley in 1999.

Ollie was not fat though I don't think, just a large bloke but wouldn't call him fat

Re: Fattest XV
Just before he retired Ollie Le Roux was a very fat fella. He used to jog the sprints in warm up, much to the amusement of the RDS crowd. He was a gas fella though, lapped it up.

Howard Norris, a Cardiff, Wales and Lions prop, looked like one of those round-shaped toy wobbly men that can't be knocked over, with most of his weight in the lower half. He could move very fast and was incredibly hard to tackle. Never heard of him? Well, it was in the '60s! I think he's the only Welsh player to get more caps for the Lions (3) than for his country (2).

Re: Fattest XV
Sisa Koyamaibole started the season unfit for bordeaux hiding a tire under his jersey, lost a bit of weight but was probably starving himself as he got banned after being caught eating a london irish player! he could be the number 8.

Rob Henderson or Scott Gibbs could probably slot into 12. Steffon Armitage is a whopper at 7.
Ricky Januarie 9.
Ollie le Roux was pretty big too.

Re: Fattest XV
They are big, but we're looking for fat rather than big here... they are all fairly big blokes but not particularly fat.
The 2 Welsh props, and dunnings, were fat.. but there was a time pre 95 when props were often fat rather than just big and fit. I think for regular playing props Dunnings takes the biscuit...

Easter ahead of Waldrom? Or Deano? Really?
Would Banahan count at 12?
I'd volunteer Olly "20 Stone" Kohn at 4, for services to lardiness in giving us the Jolly Hog stall if nothing else
