Howedes is better than Chiellini to be fair and most in the league would agree. At the very least you could argue them being on a par. What you mean is that Chiellini is worth more on TM value!

I only wanted to swap because Chiellini is Italian and thought a straight swap benefited us both for nationalities

That's a good offer but I'm not sure I want to sell him at the moment. Kießling and Petersen have both scored plenty of goals in the Bundesliga and either of them could go for a high cash offer, Kießling being joint top scorer with Mandzukic and Petersen having a great goal rate (9 in 21, 5 assists as well) and looking like he'll return to Bayern getting games next season.
