Walker was horrendous against San Marino - every time the ball came to him his touch took it 10ft in front of him. Terrible going forwards, not great at the back (about the same as Johnson really). And he has that touch of unwarranted arrogance about him that makes me want to smack him in the chops.

I would have Walker at number one as well. I think he is good defensively, and Glenn Johnson's equal going forward.

He is arrogant, but that doesn't make him any less of a player for me

Walker has poor:

- touch
- reading of the game
- positional sense
- passing
- finishing (not exactly a requirement I know)
- heading
- hair
- attitude

Walker has good:

- confidence
- pace
- teammates

I'd never select him in my England squad if I were manager. Richards, Johnson, Jenkinson for me. Kelly if desperate.

In fact, I'd pick Gerrard at RB over Walker. He's just very, very average.

Even with the flaws you listed, you had him below Danny Simpson, Phil Neville and Tony Hibbert. That's nuts.

That's the beauty of this game, all different opinions.

I think Walker is good going forward but not great defensively. I'd play Johnson or Martin Kelly at right back. Micah Richards is another one who for me, is over-rated.

Having said that, Walker is better than Hibbert, Neville and Simpson.

Its a good side Trebs, definately competitive with the better sides in the league.

But as with every team, there is scope to improve everywhere, so the question is where to improve first.

Top 3 priorities would be Kiessling, Mertesacker and Cissokho

Depends what you want in a RB. With Walcott, Lennon and Chamberlain ahead of the RB, I want a solid RB who won't leave me high and dry, as Johnson did for half of last night's game.

Richards is good defensively, and can chip in going forwards. Crucially, he tracks back. Johnson is good defensively if you tell him to rein it in. Jenkinson appears dependable, Kelly is very solid, as are Simpson, Neville and Hibbert.

I just don't see Walker as a good defensive RB, I see him as Walcott playing RB. And nowhere near Theo's calibre I might add

Soddy, my best mate is a Villa fan, I have a lot of time for them and their fans. A great club brought low by the last two chairman (including this one). But yes, I hated Walker then too

Cherries - you have to have 6 English players in your squad at all times, and 2 on the pitch at any time in all games.

You also have to have 3 U21 players on the pitch at any time during cup games

6 English players, two must be on the pitch at all times.

You also need 3 players born on or after 1 October 1991, all three must be on the pitch at all times when it's a cup game (they don't have to play league games).

And on that note...I'm out as well, I didn't take part in the last one and when I saw the level of detail others went to I certainly am not keen on spending my evenings wading through databases of facts and figures for the top Romanian under 12 team etc.

I'll participate. Seeing as I missed the last one.

Maybe do weekly tasks maximum so it's not too much strain?

It was going to be weekly, and not at all burdensome. Everyone will remember what it was like when I ran it (whoever ran the last Apprentice task on here stole ALL my tasks from last time )

Stuff like:

- Pick a team for this weekend's random fixture
- Pick a XI for Europe's all-time best team
- Body parts to make the best footballer ever

That kind of thing

If that's the case I'll take part but it'll be a Viva level effort.

Or you could make it a timed individual task?

So you get one hour, request the task via PM and have to send it back. That way everyone gets a short amount of time and it tests what you know instead of loads of research.

Don't worry, I'll mix things up lads. Unlike England!

I would also much rather have Johnson starting ahead of Walker at RB and if Kelly could stay fit I think he will be better than Walker.

Walker is quick and alright going forward but the guy has a very poor footballing brain in defence imo. Prime example being a couple of weeks ago against Chelsea when he didnt track Mata for Chelseas third and also earlier in the season when he somehow ended up 5 yards behind his other defenders for no reason! I think he is way overrated
