Something tells me Mark Hughes will either perform a miracle and keep QPR up somehow, or he'll be sacked before given the chance.

Give Hughes the January transfer window and he'll get rid of the crap and bring in better players.

Cheers Viva. I think that could be the wake up call for Fergie to go out and buy someone in CM because you missed a hard tackling one yesterday. Cant rely on the strikers to bail you out every game

United's CM has been dire for a few years now. Yet Fergie tries to spend 20m for RVP and 30m on a Brazilian winger. When the likes of Modric, Cazorla etc are available

Agree with you Olly, no offence to Norwich but when they dominate united in midfield what chance do United have against the best.

An like GSC said its been that way for a while small teams have dominated United in midfield.

You were so toothless in that area Viva it was ridiculous. Look at the goal, Hoolahan picked the ball up on halfway, then ran a fair way, played a one two with Snodgrass, nobody got near him. Then he played the ball wide to Garrido and we scored.

We had injuries yesterday. Rooney's role in the team is so misunderstood it's frightening.

I wouldn't say they need a creative force personally. I think Rooney like TSJ said was majorly missed yesterday, especially his defensive work, we outnumbered there midfield 3 to 2 due to neither RVP or Hernandez really working back.

They need a Roy Keane type player, to allow Scholes/Cleverley/Giggs to express themselves

I worry about the FB's and the CM's against the big boys there. If they struggle against us, I seriously worry what the likes of Toure/Hazard will do to you.

Oh yeah forgot you already played them lol. But seriously Evra is pants, Rafael has his moments, but he is still developing. A midfield two of Scholes/Cleverley would get abused

Rafael is a liability defensively.

Ominous that Man City's form hasn't been good and they lead the table.

I have to disagree, I think Evra's come good again in the last 10 games. Not back to his best but he's playing well again. Rafael too is looking better defensively. The real problem is actually at CB. Rooney drops back and helps out too, but Fletcher is missed a lot. Very underrated player.

And for the record before I go, I think Welbeck should have started over Hernandez yesterday.

Hard worker, does the basics well but I wouldn't say Fletcher is a game changer. A better version of Park.

Would agree somewhat at CB, Vidic's standard had dropped before last years injury, and Rio is no longer the same player. Not sure Jones is a CB long term either, CM or RB possibly.

Evra and Rafael were pretty pathetic yesterday. Didn't offer anything going forward and weren't solid at all in defence. I'm not buying Evra is good enough again, because he is a liability for Utd, and that position needs to addressed or give Buttner a run of games to see what he's got.

Fletcher is missed I agree

Stay TSJ, there's Russell's team that needs a manager, even if you become an interim manager while we find a replacement!
