England winning 2-1.
Cleverley comes off, Wilshere replaces him.
England lose 4-2.
Therefore Cleverley > Wilshere

In fairness the squad was pretty worn out at that point from playing with effectively 10 men.

Joe Hart made a bit of a mess with that header, although 99 times out of 100 nothing happens there.

Where's Hero.

We can discuss which of Susaeta's and David Villa's tap-ins were the best for Spain last night, and showcase their amazing talents Euro Division Homepage XXXIX - Page 2 3559488474

Ignoring Pedro's brilliant two goals.

Laugh funny thing is in all the time cleverly was on he pitch the only time I noticed him was his chance early on. Wilshere did much more in a shorter time.

Difference for me was when shawcross and thudd. Didn't deal with ibra at all after that, and thudd wasn't offering the same protection.

Ossie played well though

Have you seen a better goal than Zlatan Ibrahimovic's fourth goal last night? And if so, what is it? In person or televised.

For sheer quality of goal I've not seen many better, for the occasion and from personal views it was in though then I'd have Giggs v Arsenal in the FA Cup semi 1999 as still my greatest choice.

Greatest goal I've been at which again it was more about the significance of it was the Beckham freekick v Greece to get England to the WC.

Yes. Just on overhead kicks alone:

Trevor Sinclair for QPR
Rivaldo for Barca
Rooney for United

Then a menagerie of others:

Bergkamp for Holland vs Argentina
Bergkamp for Arsenal vs Newcastle
Henry vs United (the swivel and lob over Barthez)
Di Canio
Nayim from the halfway line
Several Matty Taylor goals from his Pompey days

And dozens more!

I'd say for quality of goal Ibra's was ahead of Rooney's, Rooney hit it with his shin for a start. The importance of Rooney's was greater though.

Amongst my favourite goals are Henry's v United, Rooney's volley v Newcastle and Zidane's one that Nad mentions.

But the best live has to be the time I flipped a coin with my Man U mate, shall we go see Everton v someone (I forget who) or United v Sunderland. I lost and we went on to witness Cantona's amazing run and chip. Was superb and I was glad I lost the coin toss (I think Everton lost too)

The best goal I've ever seen live was Tony Scully's 25 yard on-the-run volley, in the 90th minute, to earn Crawley Town a 1-1 draw with Burton Albion in 2006. No footage found, but it was class.

There are plenty of players rated on form from two or three seasons ago, who have played plenty of games since and not played anywhere near their rating since.

I wouold include a certain Italian CB in that, but I can actually see him returning to decent form at CB.

IMO Jenkinson should choose Finland over England. England already have their future first choice right back Kyle Walker and you also have to compete with Glen Johnson and Richards for a starting berth. If he chooses Finland than he can be a legend like Vladimir Smicer.
