My mate got a black card of some player whose name I forget - but his rating was only like 68. It's still useless right?

68 rating.....Cherries you know who that is......GRABBAN !!!!! Joking calm down Grabban is 64 rating.

I hope this Rhodes Ive got sells for a bit. Its the first time ive bought a InForm Silver player. I dont know how many people actuall go for Silvers. Me & all my mates dont have a silver team.
There is only 3 of him currently on auction so hes very rare.

sILVER ARE RARER ANDMORE EX-ENSIVE AS SILVER PACKS ARE THE LEAST BOUGH AS WHEN PEOPLE GET PACKS they usually g0o for gold or splash spare coins on bronze,
by all rights IF GRABBAN!!! should have been a silver but EA kept his rating to a bronze for some reason still 83 pace and 72 shooting for a bronze is insane,

Depends on the silver. Silvers with high pace etc go for high amounts, generally more than gold tbf unless its a v.rare gold.

I don't think they are too bad

Cowboys/Skins will be good, and I love watching the Jets get beaten.

Texans/Lions may be closer than expected.

Morning

Marky if there was a poll for the greatest goal of all time then I think we'd have to take how important the fixture is into it. For example look at Giggs goal against Arsenal in the FA semi final still talked about till this day. No one will be talking about Ibras in 5 months time let alone 13 years.

If I had to do the greatest goals of all time, I honestly wouldn't consider the importance of the game.

In both Ibra and Mexes goals, I think where the ball ended up is entirely down to chance. You can't tell me that Mexes was aiming for the top corner. Both hit it in the general direction of the goal.

The technique is all about how they got up, how they hit the ball and I still think the best overheads kick is the Trevor Sinclair one purely for the speed of it coming into him.

Never said it was rubbish, but Mexes was acrobatic, a more difficult shot due to there being a defender at his back and a keeper on his line, and he chested it away from goal too...Ibra's goal could easily be replicated if I gave you 10 shots, but Mexes? I'd struggle to hit that effort once in 1000 attempts.

And the ball was moving across his body too, so his timing was perfect.

Mexes' goal was excellent, but if I had to score one and not the other, I'd take Ibra's goal. The distance, the technique, the pure impudence to even try it.

How was it impudent to try to kick the ball into an empty goal? Hardly impudent, more like common sense.

Mexes on the other hand should have brought the ball down and got it into the box, so the fact he chests it up and overhead kicks it past a keeper is surely far more impudent.

I'd much rather have Mexes' goal on my CV than Ibra's, simply because it's so rare for a keeper to be overhead kicked from such a distance. Look at Rivaldo's goal, Sinclair's, Hughes's - these are all-time classic goals, and Mexes's goes right up there with them. Ibra's doesn't.

It was impudent because most footballers would just take the ball down and lay it off. They had a 3-2 lead - no need to try and crack an overhead kick in. I think it's extremely "uncommon sense" to consider you could ever pull it off. Let alone that he actually did.

Most, but not all. Rooney would try it. Nayim. Aguero. Adebayor probably. If it's 2-2 there's no way you'd try it, but leading 3-2 in injury time against a lethargic England team? I'd be trying it, as I'm sure most people would.

Rooney did shin it, but I suppose it's a bit of an achievement to have even gotten a shin on it as it came across his body. He misjudged the height, but the timing was bang on.

In honesty I'm a bit disappointed that Rooney doesn't score more spectacular goals. He had started to build a great back catalogue but they've dried up now.

In fairness to Hargreaves, he is the only member of his family born on Canada. Dad and brother English, Mum and other brother Welsh. He was born when they emigrated

I'm going to have rename the leagues after Andy, Russell and Twist being that naming the leagues has resulted in getting those guys back!

Hi Fan btw, twas my idea over the name, I made a team in your honour by picking players some guys had never heard of, I even took it as far as having a strop when I played a 3-3-1-3 formation and being told it was ridiculous.

can i buy Vidal lol

Simple rules:

TPs are based on Transfermarkt.co.uk only, you get 2 per week, and the current upper limit is £13m (so, no Vidal!)

Tactics are Fridays, results usually Tuesday, votes in by Monday midnight.

Unlimited domestics

You get bonuses for on time tactics/votes etc.

2 lawyers and injuries each week
