Bit of a running thread we could hopefully keep going....
Meet Joe Black - Never seen it before, thought it was great but maybe a bit too long at 3 hours. One of Brad Pitt's best performances.

Watched Warrior last night. It was alright, nothing special really.
Been to the pictures today to see The Life of Pi. Again, alright.
The cinema itself is worthy of a mention though. A 1928 art deco picture house in the middle of Shanghai, it certainly added something to the afternoon that the newly built multiplex on the outskirts of Mansfield never could.

Certainly is mate. There's always some new high rise being built and it's not really showing any signs of stopping. What I like however, as touched upon earlier, is how Shanghai has maintained the old colonial influence not really found anywhere else in China and built the modern stuff alongside it.
This is the Park Hotel, which I believe was once the tallest building here, looking pretty imposing.
