Wales v NZ
Wales v All Blacks Match thread, Poll, and Previews
First topic message reminder :
So this week saw the fans calls for players unused the week before who are in form this season answered and we lost to Samoa, we also lost more players to injury.
So what next...?
Wales offered little in impetus yet again. Few of the form players made a difference against Samoa. Wales have to make a massive improvement in every aspect of their game for next weeks match vs the ABs but what are your suggestions...???
Wales team:
Leigh Halfpenny; Alex Cuthbert, Jonathan Davies, Jamie Roberts, George North; Rhys Priestland, Mike Phillips; Paul James, Matthew Rees, Aaron Jarvis, Bradley Davies, Luke Charteris, Ryan Jones, Sam Warburton (captain), Toby Faletau
Replacements:
Ken Owens, Gethin Jenkins, Scott Andrews, Aaron Shingler, Justin Tipuric, Tavis Knoyle, James Hook, Scott Williams
New Zealand team:
Israel Dagg, Cory Jane, Conrad Smith, Ma'a Nonu, Julian Savea, Daniel Carter, Aaron Smith, Kieran Read, Richie McCaw, Liam Messam, Sam Whitelock, Luke Romano, Owen Franks, Andrew Hore, Tony Woodcock.
Replacements: Dane Coles, Wyatt Crockett, Charlie Faumuina, Brodie Retallick, Victor Vito, Piri Weepu, Aaron Cruden, Ben Smith.

The AB's just do the simple things so well.
I would certainly bring Hook on for Priestland.

Ye how dare Bradley throw his face into Hores forearm, but the missed tackle is the big issue of the half
Eh?! The swinging arm of Hore did not score points on the board. We put another man on so it was 15 v 15.
Lobby for a a video ref to be allowed to tell the ref about foul play, but don't blame the ref for not seeing an off the ball incident. He should be watching other things, like the tackle area for example, not things on the background.

The coaches must learn in two games we have lost second rows and not had a second row on the bench, I cann't see Ryan lasting the whole game at second row, big ask.

Put Hook on now.
Give it a break you are like a broken record ................ 1/2p takes the kicks and makes the decisions whether to go for goal, the unwrtten rule is the kicker i.e. 1/2p makes the decision to kick
Perhaps you should be looking at the non existant defending of Cuthbert and Faletau, and the dire defence for both tries
Is this another one of your fairy land unwritten rules? You know the place where the back-row is called the back 3? I thought the captain made those decisions anyway, but it was obviously Gatlands intent for them to get tries on the board so I suppose he instructed them to do so before the game.
Almost certainly the coaching team's idea. And a very bad one too.

Its not so much about the ref seeing it but surely one of his assistents should have. It doesnt matter in the end but that was a disgusting and cowardly act and i hope he has the book thrown at him and gets a severe ban.

More handling errors, nothing Howley or Gatland can do about that right now.

Yet we whinge and moan when the ref and touch judges don't see things in the ruck, so where should they be looking?
Let the citing commissioner police citing incidents and off the ball stuff and the ref police the play.

Jones off for Tips.
Glad to see Tipuric on, but now our scrum'll be significantly weaker in the engine room.

Unbelievable bitterness from the commentators. Keep sucking on those lemons boys. Plenty of time left on the clock still.
Hore will definitely have a date with the judiciary. Just like Thomson did.

To be fair Griff, the incident wasnt that far away from the area of play. I truely think that one of them should have seen it. They didnt so we go on but i really hope he gets a lengthy ban for it.

Definitely, but it's nothing to do with why we're losing by so much. As I said, it didn't add points to their score.

Griff, Wales are being beaten because they are failing to get the basics right, their handling is appaling and Priestland is having an absolute shocker (not just with the boot).
They have shown some very good plays though.

That's exactly my point. It's not to do with the ref, not to do with swinging arms, etc.
