Re: Gavin Henson at 10 for Lions
The issue with the Lions is that the NT nod shouldn't be considered.
Flood is ahead of Wilko because wilko is considered past it, similar to Jones of Wales, I'd say He's prob the strongest candidate for Wales 10 but would be hampering the team of 2015!
This is a tour of only weeks, the best options should be selected, there is no progression, there is no futuree tourny to consider, the best players go no matter of age!
IMHO my FH's at present would be Sexton, Flood and Wilko

And for that reason I would take Wilko, Gav however is too much of a loose canon, would you want him, Phillips, Tuilagi and Care popping out for a coffee late at night together
Ah that'd be a great night out.
New life goal.

ok, that's it, Gav & HRH Tindall, we need their experience.
Put them in charge of tour team building events.....
Strictly Come Dwarf Dancing.... yeah, I think it could work.

Cant imagine Henson would be a great guy to go on a night out with. I can see him either sitting by himself in the corner having a sulk or insulting people ala Wilko incident in Toulon.

Re: Gavin Henson at 10 for Lions
For him to get on the Lions tour a lot of things would have to swing in his favour. Being at a weak prem team he won't get much chance to impress with ball in hand.
A couple of injuries or a major loss of form from the current 10/12's could get him in the squad, even with Priestland's current form he's not being considered so lots to do to push into the 6N squad. Then he would need to impress so much in training that he has to be given some time on the pitch and have a stormer of a tournament.
Primary thing is to prove to everyone he is a team player, a lot of people would need to be convinced. We've been awaiting the return for years, not long left to put it into practice and it's getting less likely to ever happen.
