A unique first in rugby.

The IRB has intervened with match preparations and has allowed some changes to make the Wales v NZ match competitive.

The IRB are concerned that the looming 80 points loss could be permanently detrimental to NH rugby.

Proposed changes are:

Dan Carter must sit in a wheelchair and wear a blindfold. He will likely only be 95% effective because of this.
McCaw can only tackle with his feet.
New Zealand can only score tries with their forwards.
New Zealand can only walk, not run.
Wales can field 30 players and 15 of those are allowed to be permanently offside.
Nobody is allowed to tackle Rhys Priestland.
If any New Zealand player makes a noise, Wales get a penalty try.

These changes should hopefully prevent a 100 point massacre, but most pundits still believe NZ will win by 20/30.
