It was a joke. The commentators didn't mention that they had blown a simple run play on it too. It was clearly intended to be a hand-off, and somehow they ballsed that up to!

People cheered as Sanchez hobbled briefly at the end. Feel for him, it's not his fault he stinks.

When we had a discussion a while back about the great midfield performances - was it Keane for Juve in CL semi final, was it Gerrard v Milan CL final - I put Redondo v United as Old Trafford as mine, but was met with silence Laugh

It was that run past the defender, Cruyff turn past him on the line, then cutting it back for the goal that was absolutely sublime. By far the most outrageous piece of skill I've seen, especially when you consider that he was probably the least skilful player in the Real team.
