Re: Nadal v Federer (Win Loss Ratio)
I bet Nadal's lead is mainly based on the head to head with Federer. In the slam one at least, it might fully cover the difference. Take out that and look at vs other players, Federer might be in the lead.
Other factors Nadal is yet to go through his decline years where he declines vs the competition and loses more matches. That will change things. Federer is already having his W/L stats a little worse each year I would imagine with that. Have to fully judge this when they both retire.

Laverfan, don't be rude and laugh at Hawkeye
She took some time to research some stats, of course we can interpret them as we wish.

Back to school for you Hawky,
Your sums are wrong.
Nadal 583/705 = 82.7%
Federer 878/1076 = 81.6%
Fed's slam winning percentage has suffered over the last 3 years.

Fed at the same age had won more slams and more titles overall despite getting started later with his winning ways.
But yeah, this needs to be judged at the end of both careers.

Ha ha! I didn't attempt to do anything clever with numbers I just misread the tables on the ATP site. Thank you I have now corrected it. Not that it alters anything...

Strange thinking? Why should Nadal and Federer's matches against each other be removed from the stats? Of course they count. As a different point of interest though it worth breaking down their matches into different categories.
Slam H2H
Nadal 8 Federer 2
Masters H2H
Nadal 9 Federer 4
WTF (or Masters Cup)
Nadal 0 Federer 4
Other (Dubai)
Nadal 1 Federer 0
